I really enjoyed this book. I loved getting some more of the Warrior mates. I loved that Nicole is still knows her own mind and doesn’t need Damon’s approval to go back to her old Job at Child Services with Mitch. The mates are banding together to be heard since their mates aren’t training them properly even if they want to become Warrior. They just want to protect their mates but they’re strong in their own right, but they aren’t protecting their mates in the long run if they leave out any vital intonation and man Jared is being a complete d*ckhead towards Tessa and considering how she grew up and then again when her ex-boyfriend she doesn’t need that of him. I’m looking forward to reading the the book and I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
Love The Protectors and this series about their Mates is gonna be a favorite also. Enjoyed this book from first to last page but wishing it was longer. Nicole is trying to be more than a mate and gets back to working in social services. Of course Damon is not happy about her plans. Happy to see all Warriors involved in story and Steve brings his crazy brand of humor along. Well written, funny, emotional, twist, and kickbutt parts. Can’t wait for next book.
I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
How can Teresa make the mates of the VC Warriors live up to the men? Well let me tell you she did it. These fierce women are strong willed, bad ass, and do not need a warrior at her back every second of the day to save her. These women can handle their own but it is nice to have a warrior at their side.
Nicole loves Damon but has a feeling she is losing herself. She misses her work and believes she can and must help the children in the foster system. She loved doing her job and feels there is a need not only to help the kids but to satisfy her own calling.
The mates of the warriors realize they are not being treated as equal as the guys because they are females and the warriors have it ingrained in them that they are to protect the women. The women band together and decide to take matters into their own hands. They agree to help Nicole at the agency and also better themselves in becoming fierce warriors they know they can be without the guys help.
These women are AMAZING. They are strong and will not back down or give up no matter what is thrown at them or who throws them. OH and believe me they have their time with one on one combat on the mats and in the field. Nicole and the others can hold their own. Now the only question is will the warriors let them continue their crusade or will the end it? We can already see there are some warriors that over time are going to stand by their women and others that may draw a line that will be too hard to come back from.
I absolutely love these women as much if not a little bit more than the warriors. I mean really who doesn’t love a woman that can kick some butt and take names later. I am so excited for this series and see each Warriorette become stronger and do as good a job or better than the Cock Club.
Great start to a new series. The women are still kick butt fantastic, loyal, badass and love their men beyond belief. Their warriors are still there for them, well except for one that really needs to get his head out of his butt, lol. If your’re a fan of the Warriors series, you’ll love this. Can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment. Two thumbs up!!!!!
Nicole is a vampire, mated to Damon, and wants to be a Warrior. But they won’t let her so she has decided to go back to child protective services and work. Something dark is out there and taking children. This is a new evil they must fight and when most of the women join Nicole, it causes problems with some of the mates.
I love this series and this new series is going to be kickass. The women are strong and sexy. Action, vampires, witches, and more. Steamy and I almost cried .
The Warriors’ Mates
I have always loved the VC Warriors and their mates and I was pleasantly surprised when Teresa mentioned she was doing a series that was going to feature the mates of those kickass Warriors! Nicole and Damon are the first to find each other, so it only stands to reason that Nicole is first on this list
Nicole was human before Damon turned her and after that happened she left the Agency she worked for and only helped out on occasion. She now feels as though she will not be herself if she doesn’t go back! So of course in typical Nicole fashion, she doesn’t mention anything to Damon….heads are going to roll ….and first day back, she needs his help as well as the other Warriors. Suffice to say dangers aplenty in this one and a few familiar issues between couples that have quite worked themselves out yet. A good story and I’m looking forward to learning more about Viktor and also to read Tessa….who I hope will be next up
If you’ve read The Protectors series, you seriously will want to check out this companion series. The Mates has taken off with a bang that is sure to leave you wanting more. Amazing read, every bit as awesome as The Protectors. Don’t miss out
Before you start reading, you must have a few things. Tissues, Water/Drink, Food near by, because once you start, you wont want to put it down!. I would also suggest that you read The Protectors Series 1st. It would help you identify the characters in this book. This book pulls at so many emotions. It made me laugh out loud. It had me squirming in my seat. On My Goodness that Damon is so very sexy. This book made me very angry at times. I wanted to knock a few Warriors heads… It also made me cry/sob in places. This book is one of my favorites for this year! If you Love a great PNR book with an HEA please get this one and start reading. From a Forever Fan… Pam James.
