Another good read by this author. If you like the mafia, romance and suspense this is a story for you. It’s not a simple read but the characters grab your attention and pull you deep into the story. You get a strong heroine and a strong, alpha male who make a great team and the romance sizzles. I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series.
Mia is a tough hacker, trying to break the mold. She refuses to be an ornament or a punching bag. But she also understands that as a mafia princess, the mafia life will always be connected with her. Mia will never be able to runaway, so she does what she needs to do in order to survive.
When she runs into Nico, she instantly notices that he’s not the same young man that she met years ago. He’s stronger and colder, but he still treats all the women in his life with respect.
The attraction between them is instant. Although their relationship is forbidden since they are from different families in the mafia, they have no control when it comes to each other.
I really enjoyed this story. The suspenseful moments kept me on my toes. The only thing that annoyed me was Mia always calling him ‘Mr. Mob Boss.’
Great book. This story keeps you intrigued. There is danger, kidnapping and a little stalking. It also has the bad mafia (of course), dirty cops (and clean ones), hackers, enforcers and drugs. Highly recommend.
This is the first book I have read by Sarah Castille, I have to say I was not disappointed. I liked this book so much I’m going to read her back list. I am now a fan. This was a suspenseful, exciting, captivating, and super intriguing journey to go on with Nico and Mia. I cannot wait to read more.
The rescue is just the beginning …This series just keeps getting better. Nico flies to Australia to rescue a kidnapped American activist Charlotte. Since her brother is deep under cover, Nico and his partner Keane have to rescue Charlotte without the Australian authorities’ knowledge. While they are able to smoothly rescue Charlotte, getting her home safely, determining why she was kidnapped, and who was behind it is more complicated. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I love that I wasn’t completely sure who was behind the kidnapping was until the very end. I like that there was a little bit of romance, but I enjoy unraveling the mystery more. I enjoy reading this book and the series.

This mafia romance kicked a$$! Nico and Mia were awesome and Sarah Castile’s writing captured me from page 1. What really made me enjoy Nico was how the author portrayed Nico and Mia and this mafia world. These two people who knows how the mafia world operates because they both exist in it because of their families. Nico is the capo of his family and Mia wants nothing to do with hers and tries to separate herself from it but her abusive and controlling father and mafia Boss has other plans for his daughter. It’s dark, uncomfortable and gritty. Just like I expected the mafia world to be.
Nico and Mia has an incredible chemistry. Instantly attracted to one another and also fascinated. They both accept each other for who they are. Nico can be ruthless but only when it’s warranted. Towards Mia he’s gentle but also dominating. The perfect balance. Mia is a fierce and strong woman. Protects her little sister from their father and doesn’t want to be labeled. She believes in free will and a woman can amount to anything they set their mind to. My kind of heroine.
Nico is my first book from this author and now I need to read more from her. I’m impressed and now a fan.

Oh My Nico!!! I want to be Mia! This has to be one of the Best Mafia Romance I have listened to! First, Aiden Snow make my pa*#ties ……
This was my first book from the talented Ms. Castille, but not my last.
I recommend it. I’m just wondering if the others will be able to stand up to “Nico”
This book was ridiculously delicious on every level!

The Mafia and the life that those who are apart of that world lead has always fascinated me. The power plays, the need to always keep up appearances, the way they have one foot in the illegal and the other in the respectable, and how they will do anything to gain and maintain power is something that blows my mind. So, it wasn’t really a question if I’d be interested in a star crossed lovers style romance set in the world of the Italian Mafia families who run Las Vegas and I gotta say I loved it! Nico is a dark, gritty, sexy and intense read that hooked me from the first page and left me needing more when it came to an end.
Nico is a born and bread Mafia boss. He walks the walk and talks the talk. This is the only life he’s ever known and has no desire to ever leave it. He has aspirations and plans to be the Don of his family, but there are factions who will do anything to make sure that doesn’t happen. I loved Nico. He is everything I’d imagine a mob boss to be. Arrogant, dominant, always thinking about how to turn a situation to his advantage and slightly mysogynistic, and yet he is more. He has a strong sense of honor and while he may straddle the line on his business dealings, there are certain things he won’t do unless absolutely necessary. He’s seen the mistakes others have made and strives to never make the same ones. His protective, and borderline possessive, nature extends to anyone he calls his own and will blur lines when it comes to how he deals with them.
Mia is the black sheep in her Mafia family and has paid the price for not being the princess she is expected to be. She speaks her mind often regardless of what the consequences will be. But while she wants to break free of the family and live the life she dreams of she can’t just walk away. I loved Mia, I did. I loved her moxie and that she was a hacker, a white hat mind you, but still a hacker and didn’t tow the Mafia princess line, but she drove me batsh%t crazy as well. She tended to go off half cocked in her pursuit to prove that she was an independent woman, whether it was running her mouth or forgetting that ‘someone was always watching’, and these things would end up getting her into trouble. But what I found the most interesting about her is that while she fought against the life she’d been brought up in, there were times when she slipped easily into the role of princess and had a healthy respect for it when it didn’t crush her soul.
From the very beginning Nico and Mia were electric. The sexual tension between them was intense and when they finally gave in, it was HAWT! I liked how one incident in their pasts created a strange sort of bond between them and was one of those moments that shaped their lives. But what I loved the most about their relationship was how they challenged each other’s beliefs and ideals of the world they grew up in. In a lot of ways they helped each other gain clarity to what they wanted for their futures and funny how they ended up being just what the other needed to make it happen. There were quite a few bumps in their journey, which isn’t a surprise in this Romeo and Juliette-esque romance, and while there were some moments that had me rolling my eyes, I really liked how they fought for each other regardless of the odds.
Nico is my first read by Ms. Castille and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story, both the overall arc and the romance were well thought out as were the secondary story lines, though there are a couple that were left open so I’m hoping that means we’ll get more from them in the next book. The pacing was good and I liked the multiple 3rd person POV’s. The world is rich and vibrant, even when things go dark, and believe me they get dark and brutal so if abuse is a trigger, tread carefully, and loved being immersed in a world where everyone has a role to play and you always have to look over your shoulder. I loved hanging out with the characters in Nico and Mia’s inner circles, my favorite was Big Joe, but Luca is up there and I’m totally looking forward to getting my hands on his book!

I really loved this book. Nico and Mia fit together and clashed so damn well. I love that Mia is feisty and headstrong. She doesn’t any man tell her what to do, she’s a fighter despite being the daughter to the head of the Cordano family. She had a lot of fire and had no problems being outspoken with Nico. Their chemistry was very hot and I think they fit so good together.
Nico was so very lovable. I liked that he wasn’t your typical Mafia boss. He ran his crew much different than the Cordano’s. The amount of respect he garnered from his people was great. I liked that in his lust to avenge his father, he ended up falling for the enemy. Mia softened some things in him and made him think about the way he saw women, while also maintaining his authority.
I also really loved Ben’s character and I enjoyed reading his POV and the dilemma he found himself in. He was great.
I really enjoyed this book. Its a bit different than other mafia romances I’ve read and I really liked that. I also love that its set in Las Vegas where I live. The characters were amazing, the story was great and I enjoyed the tension between all the mafia families, and the writing was outstanding. Really loved this book.
I loved this book. Nico is hands down one of my favorite book heros (anti hero). Raw and emotionally intense read
