Great story with lots of feels! I really enjoyed this story about two people connecting even though they have each lost someone that they loved. Esperanza and Alec are good together and even though I sometimes wanted to smack Esperanza for jumping to conclusions and not talking to Alec, I still liked her and Alec. Also really loved that Alec’s daughter Nikki was a big part of the story too. All the supporting characters were awesome as well. There are lots of emotions that you go through with this book, so be prepared to laugh, cry and love. Must read!

A really good & spicy nanny romance.
Esperanza or “Espie” was finally heading back home after graduating from college. She was planning on staying with her parents until she got a job. Of course, staying with her parents meant she was staying in the pool house of Alec and his daughter, Nikki. When Alec ends up hiring Espie after the latest nanny quits, things seem to settle in. But Espie brings something that is much needed in their home… like love.

Espianza has fallen in love with her boss. The billionaire next door has hired her as a nanny to his young daughter. Sparks fly as there is an undeniable attraction which they can’t help acting on. With his past will he withdraw or be open to her.
This is a great sexy steamy, contemporary romance. The chapters are personable and they seem to pop off the page making you interested in how their story progresses. The author weaves the romance, emotional drama and hot sexual scenes into a story that is hard to put down. If you enjoy hot sexy contemporary romances, then give this one a try.
He’s a single father who is devastated by the loss of his wife and Espie is the daughter of his caretaker. Their fist meeting was anything but nice and Espe gave as good as she got leaving Alec intrigued. When she becomes the new nanny a change takes over not only his daughter but him as well. Is Alec on the path to healing and possibly a second chance for happiness? This touching story draws you by Nikki and Espie’s interactions with the other characters as they take Alec on his path to heal.

OMG! I just loved this second chance romance. Two people hurt by loss coming together to help with his little girl. Things progress into something more, something hotter, something sexier, something lovelier. I think you will really enjoy reading this book and VS writes in a way that you can picture yourself there (:

I absolutely loved this book! Victoria Snow did not disappoint! Esperanza and Alec had so much chemistry! Esperanza Brooks moved across the country to help her mother take care of her father who had recently broken his back. Her mother worked at a mansion for Alec Mickelsyn AKA the “Ice Prince”. He was distant and cold and spent all of his time working. His wife had died two years ago and left him with a young daughter named Nikki. For two years he had let nannies and the house staff raise Nikki. Nikki and Espie met when no one showed up one day to care for Nikki. They met at the pool and Espie cared for her until her father showed up angry demanding who she was. After all was explained, Alec offered Espie a nanny position. Espie and Nikki became best friends and Alec and Espie also began to take interest in one another. This book will pull at your heart strings. I highly recommend this book!
Next door “Ice Prince”
To me the story-line was interesting and fun with some great characters and dialogue.
The negative to me was the large amount of proofreading mistakes that should have bee easily caught and corrected. This is one of my complaints with this newer author even though I think she has potential and some interesting books. I just have a hard time getting past even basic issues even though I am reading an ARC copy
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Next Door Daddy by Victoria Snow is a part of the Forever Daddies series. In this book, Eperanza nicknamed Eppie moves back in with her parents to help take care of her father who is recovering from an injury. She arrives late at night where here parents are living at the pool house on the grounds of the mansion of the rich businessman Alec, who her mother works for as a housekeeper. As she relaxes in the pool the next morning she meets a five year old girl named Nikki who is the daughter of her mothers employer. She ends up playing with Nikki and making her lunch because she is alone due to her nanny quitting. After meeting the father Alec, Eppie is hired as the nanny for Nikki. As Alec and Eppie get acquainted sparks fly. This is a sweet and funny contemporary romance. The character of Eppie is strong and speaks her mind which makes her no holds barred attitude delightful to read. This is a wonderful story that will be the perfect addition to any romance lovers library. Next Door Daddy is a sweet and spicy contemporary romance.

Espie is back with her parents to help out with her father. However when she is out by the pool she finds a little girl playing frisbee by herself. Espie couldn’t help herself and decided to play with the little girl. When she learned that Nikki hadn’t had anything to eat she was beyond upset and took her to her place grab some items to take to Nikki’s to cook for her. Alec is stunned to find someone he doesn’t know with his daughter when he comes home and jumps on the attack. Yet Espie is ready to fight back with everything she knows about what occurred to his daughter that day. In the end Espie gets offered the nanny position and she shows Nikki what its really like to be little and exploring new things. Alex is even drawn to her and can’t stop himself from wanting her. Will he see that they are perfect together? Or will he push her away?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This series just gets better with each book by Victoria Snow. It would be so easy to fall in love with Alec the handsome, billionaire widower and single Dad to a 5 year old who is wise beyond her years. When Espie is persuaded to be the nanny where her mum works so that she can help the family finances since her dad’s accident, she never anticipated the changes about to happen in her life. Alec is such a lonely man who has all this love to lavish but he’s hurting so badly after his wife died in his arms. His little girl needs her dad and she desperately needs Espie to help bring love and light into both their lives. Read hot and steamy between the pages and the sheets within the pages of this book so have your fans/air con set to MAX COOL and get prepared to keep reading the book and not put it down till you’re at the end. A really easy page turner. I look forward to more of this series. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended. Next Door Daddy is book five and a great addition to the Forever Daddies series. Alec and Esperanza meet when he comes home and finds his daughter and Esperanza together. When they realize the nanny quit Alec hires Esperanza to watch his daughter. Loved the way Espie and Alec try to be professional but their attraction to each other is too strong. This is an entertaining story with believable characters and a story filled with heartache, dealing with loss, drama, steam and a great epilogue.
This another great wad by this author I throughly enjoyed it. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flows smoothly.

In this book we meet Esperanza “Espie” and Alec. Esperanza is back home (sort of) to help her mother take care of her father after his accident that injured his back. Esperanza just graduated from college with an art degree and all she wants to do is teach children. Where she lived though she wasn’t having much luck. So she agrees to come and help her mother and father. Where they live now though is a far cry from their old place. They now live in the pool house of a mansion. Her mother tells her the boss is generous and a good man but mainly stays to himself with the blinds constantly closed. On her first full day there she meets a little girl she isn’t sure who she is but knows she shouldn’t be out on her own. That is when she meets Alec when he thinks she is someone who broke into his home. Alec has had trouble since his wife died. He knows he should spend more time with his daughter than he does but she just reminds him so much of his dead wife. So when he comes home and find Espie and his daughter playing together he sees red thinking someone has broken into his home. When she lays into him he knows he is in trouble but in a good kind this time. Will these two find the HEA they desperately want or will old ghosts make that impossible?
This is another amazing story by this author. It really shows how grief can blind you to things that are right in front of you. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about however I don’t want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Alec – Billionaire, Father, And Emotionless Widower – Gets A Rude Awakening When Espie Gives Him A Piece Of Her Mind!
Esperanza Brooks, twenty-two, is a recent college graduate struggling to get work with her new degree in Art History. Raised with an excellent work ethic by her Puerto Rican father and Irish mother, she meanwhile works as a barista during the day and a bartender at night in Oregon, where she attended school for four years.
When Espie’s father has a horrible accident, she decides to move away from Oregon temporarily and move in with her parents to help them out with her father’s care. Her parents have moved since her last visit; they now live in a pool house on the estate where her mother works as a housekeeper.
Alec Micklesyn, billionaire and founder of Micklesyn Industries, an app development company, is sometimes referred to as the Ice Prince. Although he takes good care of his employees, he is cold and emotionless. He goes through the motions, no longer engaging in the world around him. Ten years ago life was one big party for him. The success of his company had skyrocketed overnight, and he lived to throw parties and rub elbows with the elite. Then he met Helena. Eight years ago she walked into his life and brought it meaning, and two years ago she died in his arms, leaving him plagued with crippling guilt.
When Espie is unexpectedly hit on the head with a frisbee her first weekend home, the little girl who greets her instantly tugs at her heart, reminding her of her sister. Despite the fact that the girl’s father is her mother’s employer as well as super tall, muscular, and hot, she has words for him about his lack of supervision. Oddly enough, her harsh words result in an offer of employment to replace the nanny that just quit without notice.
This one exchange begins the process of Alec opening up to his emotions again. Soon a shared love of Alec’s daughter Nikki forces him and Espie to face one another and work through their various feelings. Each has suffered from loss and guilt. Neither has fully moved on. But given their precarious circumstances, they cannot maintain the status quo indefinitely.
Wow! The steam between this pair is sizzling. Alec and Espie’s tearful story is deeply touching and their characters’ emotional journeys stick with you after the last page is turned. Five year old Nikki is a delight as well. They all deserve their touching and satisfying HEA!
There are several issues which may bother some readers. First, Espie’s mother has worked for Alec for years, and her employment includes a rent-free home on his estate, which means that Espie hasn’t been to visit her parents in years. Since she has a good relationship with them, this seems unrealistic. Next, her family would probably be at least a little better off than is described given her father runs a construction company. Although that industry can be cyclical, still … to own the company and do the work he does would certainly reward them at little if not a lot more than described, which is barely middle class. You cannot sustain a company like that over the long term and barely make middle class. The company would never survive the down cycles. Also, Espie returns home to help with her father, yet almost immediately gets a job. Since she is logically working similar hours as her mother, this does little to help with her father. A small excuse is given late in the story, but it is too little too late to prevent the confusion. Additionally, Espie never crosses paths with her mother in the mansion in which they both work (until a party at the very end), yet she has plenty of time to bond with the cook and the butler. Her mother, in fact, is missing much of the time she might be expected to pop up or witness Espie’s interactions with Alec and Nikki. Her mother might also hear about Espie from other employees. It never happens. It feels like she has been forgotten. Another area of confusion is Nikki’s age. She speaks with an unusual maturity for a five year old at times. There are a few small hints that she is very smart, but it still feels unrealistic at times. Finally, there is a cemetery scene which really took me by surprise. It was forward and pushy given the state of the relationship. It was unprovoked and failed to acknowledge the real progress made in a very short time. It felt like a slap in the face, particularly given the timing. It was out of character, too. Although an explanation is breezed over later, it might have been better received if the scene were handled more tactfully, which would have felt more in keeping true to the character.
This is an easy read. The POV alternates between Alec and Espie. My advance copy does, however, have frequent proofing errors – although the beginning is fairly polished. Note that these may have been cleaned up since the release. Combined with the above mentioned issues, though, much could have been gained by scrubbing this otherwise lovely book. The plot is simple and character-driven. But the characters have a depth that brings them to life. The English butler Corriander and Yette the cook even grab you. I rate this book 4 stars.

This is a beautiful love story about Alec and Espie, who have both suffered from losing some one they’ve loved very dearly. Alec is a widower who has grieved over the loss of his wife for the past 2 years and has relied on nannies to raise his daughter who is 5. Espie is a recent college grad who goes to live with her mom and help take care of her father who has suffered from a bad back injury, and it just so happens that her mom works for the Ice Prince Alec. Espie meets Alec’s little girl Nikkie when she notices her wandering around the grounds alone one day when her nanny doesn’t show up and that’s when she meets HIM. Alec gets snippy with Espie, but little does he know she isn’t a woman who will tolerate being talked to like that. Espie wonders why Alec is so rude and cold and when she finds out he has lost his wife she can relate because she has also lost some one dear to her and that was her sister.
I really enjoyed this story it was about learning how to deal with a tragic loss and trying to move on before you let something amazing pass you by. Alec and Espie pack plenty of steam into this story, but the secondary characters really help to keep it moving along.
I think that this is one of Victoria’s best books.
