But Jen and her best friends are willing to do just about anything to … Jen and her best friends are willing to do just about anything to keep that from happening. They decide to take on the work themselves in between long walks on the beach, watching spectacular sunsets during happy hours on the deck, and wiggling their toes in the sand.

Cozy up for this heart-warming series, where the bonds of friends and family run deep.

It’s a quick read; you can finish it in a evening. Don’t expect great things, but it is an enjoyable read.
A good beach read
I enjoyed this book! I like the way the author writes, light and entertaining, easy to read. A perfect read to escape into.
I liked this book. Being on the east coast, I always think of Newport in Rhode Island. But I have been to Newport, CA as well and loved being there.
Fun summer read
Great read.
Jen returned to her family beach house in Newport; she was joined by her two gal friends; and, they began with the traditional first night of dip, drinks; and, laughter. Walks on the beach with a darling puppy and meeting up with a long-time friend, Joe, and his dog, Boris, were part of life while recalling all the joy this little house brought to her family. It’s the story of family dynamics when inheriting property and feeling the heartache of letting go of the past. This book is a nice afternoon read
A great tale of friendship and family. Cindy Nichols does a wonderful job of letting you feel Jen’s love for her grandmother, her beach home, her friends and the rest of her family, even as she feels they are pulling away. I hope I’m seeing a possible romance for Jen and Joe, perhaps one for Carrie and Faith. I look forward to seeing how things develop in Newport Beach.
I really enjoyed reading Book 1 in this
new series. It’s an engaging, fun
& moving story about a family beach house, where generations have loved going to. With lots of family, friends
& memories.

They all enjoy their time together at

But Jen’s heart is breaking. Her father

They’ll have their hands full trying to convince them not too. And possibly spending their last summer together
