Adam James is a corn-fed, Nebraska raised, piece of man meat with a chiseled body and baby face. He is in desperate need of a paycheck and will do just about anything to get one, including stripping down to his skivvies and lathering up in baby oil.Solo Cohan is a quirky hipster with a strong work ethic, raised by two gay dads who are head over heels in love with Harrison Ford and Star Wars, hence … Wars, hence the name, Solo. She works for Teeg Model Management, the same modeling agency that decides to book Adam as their next up and coming model. Sparks ignite between her and Adam the minute her baby oil soaked hand connects with his practically naked body.
Even though Solo can’t stop thinking about Adam during photo shoots, she quickly and awkwardly, shows Adam her distaste for male models and her inability to engage romantically with them. Adam is captivated by her nerdy talk and peculiar tendencies and sets out to make it his mission to turn the Star Wars loving hipster to the dark side, where mingling with models is widely arousing.

4 Talk Nerdy To Me stars!
Ahhh Solo and Adam, 2 Star War nerds in a pod. Adam needs to make some cash to help pay for his moms care so he becomes a male model. First, I loved that he and his mom are so close. He loves his momma and not afraid to show it. Second, I liked the premise of the story, got to see behind the scenes of photo shoots with hot guys. Uh, I wouldn’t hate rubbing oil on a model. Yeah, that wouldn’t suck at all. It’s cute watching Solo and Adam geeking out over Star Wars stuff, it makes you giggle. I liked Solo although there was a time or two that she bugged me a wee bit. Besides that small thing, I enjoyed the book and I’m happy that I finally got to read it!
This started out making me chuckle.
Adam around others is geeky, awkward and shy. Around Solo? He is charming, funny, and of course still nerdy.
There is something about him that just melts my heart where I can’t get enough of him.
What I didn’t care for is how the characters had the tendency to hold long grudges and almost overreact easily. That part annoyed me but I just remember that the characters are not perfect. They are flawed just like real people, then I had an easier time with it.
This was a funny RomCom that definitely had me laughing out loud and smiling way too much.
Adam is just trying to take care of his mom and takes a job as a male book cover model.
This was funny, cute, and so much fun.
Adam is perfectly hot, nerdy, humble and sweet. When he meets Solo who doesn’t trust men
Love her name and her dads, love Adam’s mom and Aunt All around fantastic fun read.

I FLOVED this book. I loved it so much that I had to recommend it to at least two people in the middle of reading it. Adam and Solo belong together, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that these nerdy beautiful people are meant to be. The struggles and happy moments in this book are very believable, and make you feel as though you can relate to what’s happening, even if you’ve never experienced it before. I will warn that you should have some tissues on hand for both laughing and crying throughout the book… Like maybe 2 boxes!
There were a few things I disliked, such as how quickly Adams fame seemed to happen, like he was hired and the next day everyone in the world seemed to be in love with him. I get that it’s supposed to show how quickly fame can happen, and that it was important to the plot for it to happen that way.
Another small thing was The way that the models lives were described. When they’re hired, they live in this house together. Then there’s mention of other models that DON’T live in the house, when I feel like I read that as soon as they have a contract, they move in to one house. It’s not very clear there, but I guess it’s not really important to the story either, just my own personal issue popping out.
