NEW YEAR REVELATION is the second book in the Kismet Bay series. Though each will stand on its own, it is much better to read them in the order of release. You’ll understand the town better that way.
This is a sweet and simple romance. Since it’s a very short story (about 45 minutes on audible), the author –wisely – didn’t try to throw too much into this story of unrequited love. It was a satisfying and enjoyable listen as I folded a load of laundry (true story LOL).
Narration: The narrator, Carly Kincaid, has a pleasant voice.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy via Audiobooks Unleashed, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Nash has always loved Leila and he decides New years eve is the perfect night to tell her and then he hears her and her and sister talking about how she has date with one of the three knights which is a running joke with the stranger about three guys they went to school with and Nash listens in but doesn’t like what is being said so he goes to leave and then Leila calls him over to try a new wine they made and he says if your date doesn’t go well we can try it together. Leila goes out on her date with Percival and she knows it’s not right so she leaves and texts him she left and goes to Nash’ s house and finds him drunk and she puts him to bed and he tells her he loves her and always have. Leila asks Nash the next morning it he loved her and he tried to play if off and say yes I love you your my best friend and she says no really love me and.he says I have always loved you and I was afraid I would lose you and.she said it’s about time I love you too and I would never.leave you. This sweet short story was fun to read. Nash is stewing in self-doubt and Leilia is just hoping, I cannot say much about the book or it will give it all away, but it has a delightful ending. It was a great pick me up book for the new year. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
They have been best friends since they had been small but he has loved her for so long. He decides he is going to take a chance and tell her. Now will it go? Will she love him as well? See if it could work out

This short, sweet read is filled with deep emotions. The entertaining plot is enjoyable and the story offers a nice blend of seriousness with a dash of cuteness. A fun read with an important message about taking chances and not letting love pass you by.
It’s about time!
Nash King is on the verge of declaring himself to his best friend, Leilia.
But doesn’t when he finds out she’s got a New Year’s Eve date with someone else.
Hello bottle of whiskey.
Will he ever admit how he feels?
A super short, sweet read.

Quick read that teaches a life lesson about the importance of honesty and wasting time when we are not honest with those we love. Four stars instead of five only because I didn’t feel like I got to know Leila. Nash is adorable and I want him!
