Surly, rude, selfish, and inconveniently attractive. Meet Milo Papatonis, the king of all jerks.I’m not normally one to judge, but I’ve been down this particular road before and I can unequivocally say he’s earned his title. It’s not enough that Milo crushed my dreams when we were kids, but now I’m somehow being forced to dwell under the same roof with his ill-mannered ass. If he thinks his sexy … he thinks his sexy shower noises and ovary-imploding smile can tempt me into forgetting, he’s nuts.
This situation is strictly business and blessedly temporary. Because my dreams are still out there waiting for me, and they won’t be found anywhere near this town—or this guy.
Jerks do nothing but break hearts, of that I’m certain. But I’ve been known to be wrong a time or two…
If you’ve read Then Again by Sylvie Stewart, you’ve met Jill, the hopeless flirt and younger sister to Jenna. Catch up with Jill as well as your friends from The Nerd Next Door in this fun, sexy, irresistible new addition to the Carolina Kisses series.

The is book number #2 in the Carolina Kisses series. Milo Papatonis is the one that got away and broke Jill’s heart. Jill seems thinks that he is rude, selfish, and the man that crushed her dreams when they were kids. Is Milo still the same person? What does the future hold for them both? The bantering back and forth between the characters is great and will have you laughing. There are also heartwarming moments and times when I didn’t what was going to happen next. This was a great read and a great addition to this series and I can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out.

I finished reading this book and it was really freaking good. This story is spectacular, funny, witty, entertaining, drama filled and intriguing. I read from this author a plenty of times and I was just hooked from the moment I saw the cover and then the blurb just had me from there. I love Sylvie Stewart style of writing and the stories. The scenes are so graphically descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another beautifully. Awesome job Sylvie, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us. No spoilers! Go ahead and dive in! Happy reading everyone!!
Love, love, love it!!!

What more to say? I loved this witty, tender, crappy, sarcastic man! Milo!
And I loved this sunshine but feisty girl! Jill!
They were meant for each other, that’s no spoiler, and I loved their story from 12 years ago to now.
The drama in Milo’s life adds reality to a sweet story. It can be, it’s life.
This book delighted me from page one. I felt like smiling and laughing all along!

New Jerk in town (Carolina Kisses book 2) by Sylvie Stewart is a 4 star read.
Milo and Jill knew each other as teenagers and didn’t part on good terms, 12 years later they’re thrown together again and there’s still some animosity, but there’s also the fact that they each felt the other was the one who got away. I loved reading the back story and seeing how they get to where they are now. This book was well written and the characters were well developed, this is a new author to me and I look forward to reading more from her.
New Jerk in Town: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romantic Comedy (Carolina Kisses Book 2) by Sylvie Stewart
4 of 5 Stars
This can be read as a standalone story but some of the characters cross over from previous books in Stewart’s ‘Carolina Kisses’ series. In ‘New Jerk in Town’ Jill, the younger sister to Jenna from ‘The Nerd Next Door’ is the focus of the story. Jill is a natural flirt but seeing Milo Papatonis again she’s reminded that he is the king of all jerks. Surly, rude, selfish, and extremely attractive Milo crushed Jills dreams when they were children had now she’s being forced to share a house with him. Thankfully the situation is only for business and is temporary, however that dose not stop Milo’s bad manners effecting Jill or picturing him in the shower, or imagining his smile, no Jill is definitely not going there.
This is a fun sexy, enemies to lovers romance with plenty of comedy thrown in and steamy scenes as neither Milo or Jill can deny their obvious attraction to each other and their chemistry sizzles off the page. I was cheering the main characters on hoping they both got their HEA, and the secondary characters are all intriguing as well and I hope to see them pop up in future books in this series. A great read for some escapism.
Milo Papatonis never intended to come back to Carolina Beach but changed his mind when inherited his father’s beach house. Milo never expected to see the beautiful Jill Holloway again but then she shows up looking for a place to stay. You know what they say about things coming in threes? What’s coming next?
New Jerk in Town is a funny, drama-filled and intriguing story that will suck you in
