And her father wants them all gone.Daniel Harris III is the heir to a business fortune who was raised to fill his father’s shoes. The boss’s daughter, Angela Jackson, has no idea that the new handyman was once the boy who spent holidays near her home. Between the return of an old flame, a friend just out of rehab, and the discovery of her mother’s affair, she barely notices that Dan’s skill for fixing things could use some work. But his smile and willingness to help adds one more issue to her pile…she’s falling for him even though her father fired the last handyman who wanted to date her.
After dealing with landmines of deceit and ulterior motives all around her, discovering that Dan is one more liar-and that he might only be interested in her money-is too much to handle. But can she really forget a man who rescued puppies and made her breakfast while wearing a pink, frilly apron?
A contemporary romance that will make you laugh, sigh, and go “awww.” There’s no pesky cliffhanger, just a satisfying HEA ending. This is Book 2 of the Going to the Altar series. The books can be read stand-alone, but reading them in order is even more fun!

Never the Bridesmaid (Going to the Altar Book 2) by Janell Michaels is a great story to read. This is book number two in this great series . I recommend this story to everyone.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
An emotional second chance romance.
This romance is so very well developed and written that it flows right to the end, taking you on an emotional journey through Angela and Daniel’s love story and lives. It’s a beautiful tale about two children who fell in love but lost touch with each other and how they fell in love all over again.

Daniel and Angela will you glued to the pages with their drama that is guaranteed to have you pulling for this couple. Daniel is given another chance to prove to his father that he is worthy of his trust fund by working for Angela’s father as a handy man. When her father stipulates that he wants him to look out for his daughter and report to him about a former boyfriend he becomes uncomfortable with the task. What starts out as a burden turns into anything but as these to reconnect and realize their true feelings for each other. When one of her friends pledge his feelings, will it create problems and grind to a stop a budding romance between Daniel and Angela? I voluntarily agreed to receive an Arc of this book for an honest review.
Pity I missed the first book in the series as I like to keep up to date if there are a few overlapping characters involved. However I did keep abreast of the story.
Angela is not the pampered princess people make her out to be. While she’s daddy’s little girl she’s tried to find & make her own way in life.
She has a trio of ‘would be’ suitors: William the horrid ex her dumped in her teenage years & now appears to be after something. Ty a long time friend in rehab & Daniel working as a handyman with an interesting past.
Also involved are her friends Stacie & Lizzie the latter being the h in the previous story in this series. There is also a few things going on with her parents.
I really enjoyed this feel good romance as both Angela & the H I was pegging for had wonderful chemistry & banter. It reminds me of the touchy freely romance stories of old with a modern twist.
Overall if you like a warm & fuzzy romance this ones for you.
