…If a kickass middle-aged bookkeeper got sucked into a spy’s life… troubles are over. But Kane’s investigation implicates her in a techno-espionage plot, and criminal charges become the least of her worries when she finds herself in the crosshairs of the same dangerous group Kane suspects her of aiding.
Armed with only her analytical mind, a warped sense of humour, and a penchant for profanity, Aydan faces off against international spies and an RCMP officer who’s not what he seems.
Pity her enemies. Because nobody’s tougher than a middle-aged woman who wants her dream back.

Thrillers with humour and heart
Contains coarse language, moderate violence, and sexuality. The story can stand alone but will be more enjoyable if the series is read in order.
“Fierce and fantastic – a totally different type of heroine who keeps you clinging to the edge of your seat!”
If Janet Evanovich’s quirky humour met Robert Ludlum’s taut thrillers, the Never Say Spy series would be their love child: racy, fun, and action-packed.

I found this book to have too many twists and turns to the point that I became bored. I did not find the main character to be believable.
I LOVE this series! I’ve read them all & reccommend it highly!
Well-written, funny and with an intriguing story line.
Interesting, different, enough flirtation to make it interesting, great characters.
Not my thing. Bored divorcée becomes spy by accident, seems like a teenage attempt at a thriller.
Very good read.
Can’t wait to read more of Diane’s books!
Not sure where this story is going. Does not hold my interest, confusing plot.
It’s okay, but – to my mind – rather female-centric. That’s fine, nothing amiss with a kick-arse woman, but this just didn’t have the grit I’d have preferred in this type of story. You may love it… I didn’t. It just wasn’t quite to my taste.
I wish that I could afford to get the series.
Love this series! Read 1-3 in three days! Kind of like Stephanie Plum only with a bit more dignity.
Hooray for a female protagonist who is female, fit…and in her forties! I’m hooked and will definitely be uploading more books in this series! Diane Henders writes a rolicking good tale!
This is an excellent story . Characters are well developed. I am now reading book 2.
LOVED this book . Just great reading, kept me reading past bedtime.
Loved this book will read more by this author.
Love these characters and story line. Great suspense and action. Excellent mix of humor, suspense, action and future story development. Hard to put down .
Great read.
this was GREAT FUN!!!
I stopped at page 80! This book is almost boring. The story line just rambles on.
Cute…not really a hard-boiled “thriller” but a nice pastiche
