Wow, how can someone be so strong while missing 5 years worth of memories, very important life changing memories. I guess it helps to have a strong man with a heart of gold even if his own insecurities cause him to falter a couple of times. Very touching story of Juliette and Sawyer.
This book continues my love affair with every book Myers writes. From beginning to end, this romantic suspense had me hooked. If you think MC novels are just motorcycles and mayhem, you have another thing coming. The book is full of fantastic characters, riveting plot development, and a universe you will dive into headfirst.
It can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend reading it in series order. Myers is a must-read do truthfully why wouldn’t you go ahead and read the rest?
I absolutely loved it and my only regret was that it ended at all.
This series is probably my favorite MC series. This author has a way hooking you into a story and not let you up. For real, things I needed to get done were pushed off just so I could consume this book!
Sawyer is the bad boy that make you salivate over. He’s one of those that you know could be bad for you but you find out his heart is 100% perfection!
Juliette has survived a horrific accident where so her memory and someone special to her. She is the epitome of perfection on the outside but the inside she’s so lost and alone. She decides she want to move back home and Sawyer was assigned to help her out.
The chemistry between these two characters burn off the pages. I have loved this series for a while. It has everything you would want in a romance and more!
Never Let Me Go (Bayou Devils MC #6) by A.M. Myers
5 out of 5 stars
Never let me go is the sixth book in the Bayou Devils MC series written by A.M. Myers and I have read every book in this series and I love it… The characters are amazing and well written and the secondary charcters with their quirky ways just makes this a great book. The plot is awesome.
Juliette Shaw has it all a thriving business, a beautiful home, loyal friends, and a gorgeous fiancé but she doesn’t remember any of it. After a horrific car accident steals her father’s life and five years of her memory, she is lost in a world she doesn’t recognize and is desperately searching for answers. Nothing feels right and behind each clue from her past are more questions, so she does the only thing she can do she runs home to Baton Rouge.
Sawyer Michelson, brother of the Bayou Devils MC, picks crazy girls so he is swearing off woman until he gets his stuff together. He looks intimidating as hell and a smart girl like Juliette knows better than to accept a ride from a stranger but there’s something about his deep blue eyes that puts Juliette at ease and pulls her in. He makes her heart race and the longer she spends with him, the more she discovers the sweet, funny, and loyal man beneath the mask. But even a thousand miles from home, danger seems to find her, leaving Juliette to wonder if it’s just bad luck or if she is in more trouble than she realized.
Is someone trying to kill Juliette? Can Sawyer find out who it is before it’s too late? Will Juliette and Sawyer have a happily ever after? You will need to read this story to find out.
You can read this as a standalone but I suggest you read the whole series…

Never Let Me Go (Bayou Devils MC Book 6) by A.M. Myers is a romantic suspense that immediately dives right into the journey this story needs to go on. The opening scenes make your heart strings pull and you wonder where A.M. Myers will take these characters that have been introduced along with the others you know are waiting on the sides awaiting their chance to appear and make their own marks. I felt this story was beyond amazing and loved how the author laid out the sequences of events and their chain of reactions that occur. This is not a straight forward story, but one full of many elements that will keep you guessing and wondering exactly where key characters will fall.
Never Let Me Go (Bayou Devils MC Book 6) by A.M. Myers
5+++++ Stars
I am so much in love with this series I can’t hardly stand myself. I want to go back and start from the beginning and read them all over again.
This one has me confused because in a sense it might just be my favorite in the series, but then at the same time not. I loved the story, I adored the characters, and Juliette might just be one of my favorite females leads ever. My problem lies with feeling like there was not enough of the club like in the other books. I missed that, I missed all the other people I have come to love and my only wish is that there was more of them and the MC involved. Don’t get me wrong, they were there but just not as involved as Im used to.
In saying that I loved the concept of this book, I kind of had suspicions at the very first lawyer visit of what might be happening but that didn’t matter because how it was all written was vintage AM Myers. I read it in one sitting and hated when it was over.
I can not wait for more from the Bayou Devils and truthfully just anything by this author. It’s an auto one click for me.
Loved It!!
I loved this book! It is part of the Bayou Devils MC series, my favorite book yet. I love this author’s writing style and her ability to pull me into her story right from the beginning. What happens when you have everything you could want but can’t remember any of it? So, she runs which is when she meets Sawyer and the Bayou Devils MC club. The rest of the story is twists and turns, suspense and you won’t regret picking up this book to find out what happens next. Great characters, a must read.
I really enjoyed this book and was happy how it all played out. It had a solid plot and was well written. It was a bit suspenseful as the story starts with Juliette having amnesia and working on learning to deal with it. Juliette tries going back to how things were previously but too much has happened and nothing feels right to her. Sawyer is a member of the Bayou Devils MC and wasn’t looking to be involved with anyone but life had its own plans. Sawyer is asked to help Juliette get back to Baton Rouge. He has this intense connection with Juliette and know she’s very special and quickly becomes his center focus. Sawyer’s affectionate ways with Juliette make you fall in love with him. Juliette & Sawyer’s attraction to each other only grows as they start on their journey, but it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. They don’t know that there’s danger all around and it’s only going to get worse. They’re faced with challenges and have to learn how to open up to one another, but when one isn’t completely honest; can they be forgiven for their lies? Again you see previous character from the previous books and how they all come together when needed as a big family should. There are some plot twists that you can foresee, others that catch you off guard and your left with a few unanswered questions. Regardless this was a great story and really enjoy this series. Can’t wait to see what’s happens next
Another excellent read from the Bayou Devils series which is one of my all time favourites.
Juliette Shaw wakes up in hospital after being in a coma following a horrendous car accident that killed her father. The first person that she sees is Gavin who says he is her fiance, but Juliette has no memory of ever having met this man never mind being engaged to him. She has lost all recollection of her life for the past five years.
After leaving hospital and getting back to the apartment that she shares with Gavin nothing about it feels right. The one thing that she does remember is her best friend Mercedes back home in Baton Rouge and she calls her for help. Mercedes immediately makes plans for Juliette to be picked up by Sawyer from the Bayou Devils and brought back to stay with her. juliette escapes from her apartment and meets up with Sawyer at midnight and is immediately attracted to him which she finds strange as she has no feelings at all for her so called fiance. As they drive back to Baton Rouge together their feelings for each other become more and more electric.
Despite his own problems, Sawyer is determined to help and protect Juliette but first they need to deal with their pasts and the threats surrounding both them and the Devils in order to move forward.
This is a beautifully written romantic thriller, lots of emotion, angst and mystery and an unexpected ending. As with the others in the series it is so well done that you have to move onto the next book as soon as it is written.
When Juliette wakes from a coma and the past five years is gone from her mind. She has a man and woman at her side that she doesn’t remember. She calls her best friend from college and she arranges a ride but what Juliette doesn’t expect is Sawyer. Sawyer is everything she never expected but danger surrounds her so does she run to the man who makes her heart race or the past she can’t remember? Loved this story so much, Sawyer and Juliette are just amazing. Highly recommend this book and series.
Wow! Never Let Me Go had me hanging on ever word trying to solve the mystery that is Juliette’s life! I couldn’t swipe the pages fast enough! This is my first read in the series, i didn’t have any problems following the story, and I will be reading books 1-5!
Juliette wakes up in the hospital following a horrific accident that claimed the life of her father. Problem is, she can’t remember anything from the last 5 years. She doesn’t recognize the man by her side, her fiancé. The last memories she has are with her best friend, Mercedes, in Baton Rouge. Juliette decides to back to Baton Rouge to try and regain her memory.
Sawyer is part of the Bayou Devils Mc and has the typical “bad boy” appearance. Nose ring, tattoos and the bluest eyes Juliette has ever seen. Sawyer is asked to escort Juliette to Baton Rouge. They have an instant connection, but Sawyer has had bad luck with women in the past, and isn’t sure he trusts his instincts anymore.
Back in Baton Rouge, bad things start happening. Who is being targeted? Juliette or Sawyer? Is Juliette ever going to remember what happened before the accident?
It’s a wild ride to the end! You don’t want to miss it!
Intense with plenty of suspense but also some lovely romance which can be quite scarce in MC stories, these added a really nice touch into an already great book. Having followed the series I know these guys can be tough and do what’s needed if the time dictates, it makes a nice change to see the softer side and Sawyer is certainly man enough to do that when it comes to his “Angel”. The plot is interesting, with unexpected excitement along the way that had me on the edge of my seat and glued to the pages, its a fast flow with some great banter with the rest of the MC members. Thanks to the epilogue which was really sweet and loving it helped complete this addition to the series and make it just a bit more special. Oh in case you wondered, I loved it.
Juliette awakens in a hospital and has lost five years of her life. She has amnesia. She reaches out to the only person she can remember to make arrangements to come to her hometown. Sawyer is a member of the MC tasked with bringing Juliette to town. The couple end up in a friendship and feelings develop between them. What Juliette can’t remember could end the both of them. A great read and I am going back to read the rest of the series.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
I was on the edge of my seat threw the whole book. It’s full of suspense and romance. I just loved Sawyer and Juliette’s instant connection. I just love this series. I can’t wait to read what happens next.
What a wild ride filled with Love, Romance, Deceit and Suspense. The storyline held me in it’s grasp and kept me wondering what was going to happen until the very end. Kudos to the author for writing a gripping exciting story that is so well written I felt like I was right there with the characters feel all the emotions right long with them. I found myself entranced and unable to set the book down.
When Juliette wakes up in a Florida hospital, she has lost the last 5 years of her memory. She remembers and trusts no one around her. Her last memory she has was with her BFF in Baton Rouge, so the first chance she gets she runs away and heads to her BFF. She hitches ride with Sawyer with the Bayou Devils MC. Sparks fly from the moment they meet, the attraction and the comfortable feeling they have with each other is simply perfect. Yet due to her current situation Juliette is afraid to tell Sawyer the truth. But on the other hand, Sawyer tells her everything about him; the good, the bad and ugly things he’s done and/or dealt with. Lies are told and of course truths come out. Truths that put people in danger and devastate lives. Is forgiveness granted? Can the Bayou Devils save one of their own and perhaps bring two lives back together where they belong?
I highly recommend Never Let Me Go and the entire Bayou Devils MC Series. They are all must reads in my humble opinion. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars.
After a horrible accident that has left her with amnesia, Juliette awakens and immediately feels out of place. She reaches out to the only person alive she can remember, her best friend, to get her back home so she can focus on recovering her memory. While on another job, Sawyer is sent to pick Juliette up and bring her back to her hometown. During the journey back home, the two spark a common ground and friendship while they fight the instant feelings and chemistry they have together, and eventually succumb to those feelings. While she works to rebuild her life with years lost, she continues to get attempts on her life and can’t understand who would want to kill her. So many questions throughout this story, such as if Juliette will ever get her memory back and who was out to kill her as well as who caused her accident in the first place. I loved that I was able to read this story without having read the previous books in the series, and after reading I definitely want to go back and catch myself up!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
ONE EXCEPTIONAL ADVENTURE!!!
Blazing Buzzards! Oh man, I love this little guy. One refreshing spin on suspense, filled with all the drama, danger, betrayal, deceit and a massive dose of misguided revenge. No way around this baby. This little guy is as riveting as it is captivating. Frozen on a razors edge as tension spirials propelling this baby to life beautifully. You feel everything the characters feel. The two main characters chemistry is instant and consuming. All the trials and tribulations really rock this baby to the core. The characters and scenes are written with such passion and realism it blew me away. Fantastic job Myers, thanks for sharing this jewel with us.
Never Let Me Go by A.M. Myers a five-star read that you will never want to let go of. This is number six in the Bayou Devils series, but they can be read as stand-alone. Sawyer Michelson is the epitome of a bad boy that everyone loves. But that’s because he is just so sublime, and even though he is a bad boy he really does have a heart of gold. Juliette is definitely deserving of his support and heart, after everything she goes through in the story, the accident, losing the man in her life and not knowing the life she has. That was so well done that you believe everything and get sucked in and left wondering who is really the bad person in Juliette’s life. The drama and passion were great, and even though there were a couple of pages that seemed to jump a little the rest blew me away to such a point that they didn’t matter. This was a sublime story in the Bayou Devils series, each one gets better than the last.
