From USA Today bestselling author Logan Chance comes a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy featuring a hot-as-heck hero, a sassy heroine who isn’t afraid to fight for what she wants, and a ton of heated moments that will have you flipping through the pages.KikiEllis Atwood is the devil. Ok, maybe that’s too harsh. Ellis Atwood is ruining my life.First, he demolishes a perfectly good wedding trellis.… demolishes a perfectly good wedding trellis.
Second, he destroys a gorgeous doggie wedding that I spent ages planning. (I kid you not.)
Third, he makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, and that is not ok. I prefer the cold and harsh way my fiancé makes me feel so much better. (wait, that didn’t come out right.)
Fourth, and there is a fourth, he gets me all wound up and flustered.
And last, when he unexpectedly kissed me it made me forget my own name, or the fact that I’m getting married…in a month.
Please someone help me out. I’m a mess.
Worst part is, Ellis isn’t the bad guy I first thought he was.
And being forced to spend time with him is making me realize that he needs my help more than anything.
So what’s a girl like me to do?
Ellis
I’m only in town long enough to figure out a plan with my brother on how to save our brewery from the awfulness that is my father. Oh and be in a wedding.
Where I may or may not be crushing a little too hard on the bride-to-be. (spoiler alert, I’m crushing hard.)
She’s really cute. Like seriously.
And she has the cutest job, she’s a dog wedding planner. (I kid you not.)
I can see why Henry loves her.
I can see why everyone loves her.
I can see why I’m falling for her.
I’m usually not a relationship-type guy. Call it picky or whatnot, but usually I get bored easily. So, my plan is simple. Spend as much time with Kiki (soon to be Faniki, I know) and hopefully get bored with her adorkable smile and sexy legs that go on for miles.
Then, I can save the brewery, be the best man of the wedding, and get my butt back to Atlanta and away from the happy couple.

Never Kiss A Stranger …unless he is Ellis the trellis destroyer ! You are in for a treat with Kiki and Ellis and their escapades with crazy fitness fades, terrible off cue singing, awkward dance moves, doggie weddings and swoon worthy outings that will have you cheering them on. I truly enjoyed their wild ride to figuring out romance and who they truly are while going from strangers, to friends, to romance ! Such an entertaining adventure .

Doggie weddings, goat yoga, karaoke spin class! This book will have you howling! Kiki first meets Ellis in the strangest way…he backs into a custom made trellis that she was picking up for her business. Then, while she’s telling him off…he kisses her! What’s worse is that she enjoyed it…and she shouldn’t since she’s engaged and all. Ellis is back home in Juniper, FL for one reason…his brother asks for his help in getting financing their failing family brewery. Ellis really didn’t mean to kiss the woman in the parking lot but he was trying to avoid his father. Fate has fun and interesting plans for Kiki and Ellis and you just HAVE to find out! A strange fiancé, the aforementioned doggie weddings and lots of steamy moments will keep you engaged until the end. Next up is the story of Ellis’s brother, Urban…can’t wait!
Kiki and Ellis love story is like a collection of quirky events. It was laugh out loud funny, cue the goat, dancing, and karaoke. It has a lot of heat, Ellis and Kiki’s chemistry is combustible. And, the HEA and realizing Urban and Lola’s book is next, sign me up!!
Ellis to Lola:
“You make me want to claim you, Kiki. Are you mine? Will you let me claim you?” “Oh god, yes.” I’ve never had a man talk to me the way Ellis does, and it turns me on so much.
This was a fun and delightful reading experience. It had me laughing often as it was filled with hilarious commentary and scenarios. The characters were impressively written and easy to relate to.
What do you get when you combine a ring eating goat, dog weddings and terrible dancing?? One hell of a romantic comedy!! This is my first Logan Chance novel and I took a chance because it honestly didn’t seem like my normal go to, but I am so glad I did. Never Kiss a Stranger was exactly what I needed to get me out of my feelings and laughing again.
Kiki is absolutely perfection!! There is nothing I love more than the good writing of a female character. She owns a dog spa with her best friend and is recently getting into dog weddings. Kiki is recently engaged to Henry after only being together for a month (INSERT WTF HERE) and now is trying to rush the wedding so that Henry can get on with his 5-year plan. And Kiki wants this too, doesn’t she??
Ellis is handsome, funny, charming and he loves beer. No, not in the alcoholic way. In the he has to save his families brewery with the help of his brother before his father runs it in the ground. Little does he know his whole life is about to change all because he ran over a trellis. What is a man to do when he runs over a girl’s trellis and she is super furious? Kiss her DUH!! Ellis thinks he will never see the mysterious girl again but low and behold he is now the best man in her wedding to none other than Henry. Yeah, that Henry.
Kiki is bound to spend more time with Ellis because of the upcoming nuptials but what she doesn’t expect is how she can’t get him off her mind. Truths come out, lives are changed, and laughs are had. As this story heats up in more ways than one you will fall in love with Kiki and Ellis and their road to HEA!! Only con, I wish the epilogue was a bit longer with more detail, but I am a sap for a good epilogue.
Never Kiss A Stranger is a charming and light-hearted read. Kiki and Ellis are both lovable characters. The banter between them is fun and their chemistry is great.
I was pretty much grinning throughout the story.
If you’re looking for a sweet, feel good romance I would recommend giving this one a try. (4.5)
“He breaks the kiss after only seconds but what felt like hours. His thumb traces down my jaw, and then over my bottom lip as if he’s memorizing this very moment. And then, reality sets in—I just kissed a stranger.”
Never Kiss a Stranger has been in my TBR for too long! I absolutely loved all of the fun and games, I laughed so much at the antics. The characters were easy to connect with as they felt realistic and you wanted to call them your friends. I was glued to the pages from the beginning to the end. A fabulous narrative, that was unique, with a perfect balance of humour, romance, steam and even a little bit of suspense. Only downfall was it felt like the end was a little rushed or maybe I just wanted more. Highly recommend you grab a copy.
Loved it. Actually I have read it twice and will read again
This is a cute read. I fell in love with Ellis and Kiki from the start. Lots of fun banter between the characters. I liked the fact that Logan Chance called Urban’s bar “The Bearded Goat”, a name that he uses on his personal fan pages.
He has clever sayings/names. Calling Ellis Trellis Ellis because Ellis broke the trellis. Sharp jargon like two dogs bound in “holy mutt-rimony”, bride saying her “bow-vows”, invited to the “pup-tials”. Beer names were well thought out.
Did Kiki really love Henry or was she in love with the thought of marriage? How Logan incorporated those questions throughout the book makes the reader keep looking for her logic until, WHAM she finally sees it and is very quick to make a decision. And how she starts to see the goodness in Ellis as he understands her love of dogs and dogs’ weddings, his choice of flowers. You can see how she starts to see him as her match.
Well-written and enjoyable. A feel-good and happy book.
Oh my goodness! Logan Chance is the RomCom King! Honestly, every time I read one of his books, I have to prepare myself for a rollercoaster ride. There is so much humor laced within the characters relationships. I love that you feel as if you would want to hang out with our heroine Kiki and her friends as they try out baby goat yoga or dog weddings or whatever other hair-brained activity they get into.
Then there is that ever so dreamy, sex-on-a-stick Ellis. Oh & believe me sex-on-a-stick is a very good description! Sigh…..I mean really….how can someone that kisses a total stranger turn out to be this perfect?! Ok…ok so there is the little matter of him actually being the best man for Kiki’s fiancee Henry and him totally falling for the bride-to-be…..but……..we can’t judge him too harshly!
Just read the book. I promise you…you will not be disappointed. So…so many feels! You will laugh, you will go “aww”, you will be turned on, you will cry, you will yell “No way!”, you will smile a goofy grin. I’m telling ya…all the feels!
I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
(on a side note: I read this back in April as an ARC reviewer. I am just now updating my BookBub. This review has been posted on other review sites.)
My most recent audiobook listen was Never Kiss a Stranger by Logan Chance. This is my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it! It made me laugh out loud and there was no shortage of steam, hilarious situations, and sweet moments. I loved Kiki and Ellis, how they met, how their relationship progressed, everything.
If you are looking for a rom-com that will make you laugh out loud, this is the one to read or listen to. I think having it narrated made the experience even funnier because the narrators were so good at putting the emotion and humor into their voices throughout the book.
Have you read / listened to Never Kiss a Stranger? It is now available on audio!!
This was my first Logan Chance’s book. Kiki and Ellis’s story is a fun, sweet, and sexy slow burn romance. Kiki is lovely and determined. Ellis is handsome and caring. They share a beautiful and explosive chemistry. I like their banter. This is a heartfelt romance. Kae Marie Denino and Blake Stanton did a good job with the narration. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Sometimes Logan Chance comes up with something exceptional i.e. We All Fall Down, North, Everest, Heartbreaker. But this isn’t one of those deep and thoughtful or sentimental pieces. It’s his other specialty—a light little rom/com. It’s silly and over the top, yet pretty steamy once it gets going.
Once upon a time there was a girl named Kiki and a guy named Ellis. They’re both kinda dorky and both kinda know it. They recognize quirks in each other but not the same quirks in themselves, which is pretty cute I have to admit. Once they start spending time together they bring out the fundamental joy in each other and they live life with abandon. That’s the greatest thing to watch in this couple as they’re falling in love. I don’t know how Kiki could have been stifled by Henry for even a month much less consider marrying him, and I don’t know how Ellis lived such a staid life in Atlanta. They are the epitome of “better together”. There’s something wonderful about a guy who is so head over heels for a woman that he’s all in on every silly thing about her and their relationship. Ellis is obviously high on endorphins and just like “Bring it on” and that makes him so adorable to me.
This is the perfect story for when you’re looking for something to lift your spirts (like during a pandemic!) It’s cheerful and easy to read, so if you need a mood-boost this is a good one.
This is such a fun and steamy read! I highly recommend Never Kiss a Stranger if you’re looking for a unique romcom with the feels and heat too. This story is so original, from the meet cute to the interesting fitness classes to the characters and their occupations. I was rooting for Ellis and Kiki from the moment they meet, and I was left with a big smile on my face at the end!
I am a book reviewer virgin! That’s right. Never Kiss a Stranger is the first book I’ve reviewed. And, I’ve read Lots of books by Lots of fantastic authors! That should be your first clue about how much I thoroughly enjoyed this rom-com.
Logan’s newest rom-com will provide you with a large amount of low-belly giggles. Kiki (soon to be Faniki) and Ellis (the trellis) are a delightful couple right from the beginning (even though they aren’t technically a couple, at first).
I don’t want to take anything away from your reading pleasure. However, I will list just a few ticklers in the story: baby goat yoga, dog weddings, dog beer, beer marketed for women!, and dancing like Elaine from Seinfeld (at least that’s what the description led me to believe). Hilarious! Oh! And, then there are the sizzling sex scenes. Just yummy!
Anyway, you will not regret reading this sexy, intended to provoke laughter, HEA story.
Despite being a follower on social media, this is the first book I’ve read by this author. And it certainly won’t be the last! Never Kiss a Stranger was sexy, romantic, smart, and funny. Basically, the whole package. I look forward to the next book in the series. And basically anything else this author writes.
Never Kiss a Stranger by Logan Chance is a light-hearted and a little quirky romantic comedy. This is the first book I read by the author. I was looking for a fun light read and I found it. I really liked Ellis and Kiki and all the craziness that happened. I also liked the way the secondary characters were weaved into the story. Before reading the book I thought cheating would be involved and there isn’t.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I plan to read more books by Logan Chase.
I am never disappointed with Logan Chance. This is an absolute must read. Ellis and Kiki are strangers, they share on kiss and neither can forget the other. I adore their story. I was always told “Never say never” and if you read this, you will know why.
Smoldering, Slow Burn!
Kiki Kingsley is engaged to Henry, and starts to have second thoughts when a complete stranger gives her a toe curling kiss. She starts to rethink how much everything is about Henry, and how she’s losing herself in the relationship.
Ellis Atwater comes home to try to save the his family bar “The Bearded Goat” from financial ruin. After meeting Kiki, he has to figure out how to get his friends fiancee out of his mind. But all Ellis can do is think of her non-stop.
Logan Chance brings on the heat in this smoldering, slow burn romantic comedy. This book is like a box of chocolates, because you never know what you’re gonna get inside. This book is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and maybe even think about buying a goat. I love this page turning, romantic comedy, with quirky female character, swoony male character, definitely plenty of laughs, and HEA.
Loved this book. Never Kiss A Stranger was my first Logan Chance read and I was hooked from the start. Great characters and humor. Love Ellis and Kiki’s story. Full of laughs and great chemistry … and a priceless first meeting, Never Kiss A Stranger is a must-read, in my opinion. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
