Miranda drives me crazy and not in a good way. She’s set her sights on me, wants to be friends, but I can’t. I need to focus on more important things. Like protecting my sister from the monster in our life, while ignoring the relentless cheerleader who’s hiding secrets of her own. Even when she shows up right when I need her most, determined to break down all my walls.I only have two friends in … friends in this new town, and Liam isn’t interested in being number three. He hates me, like absolutely hates, me but I have no clue why. When I learn his secret, I force my way into his life, not taking no for an answer. He needs someone to lean on, and I’m going to be that person no matter how many times he writes ‘Liam hates Miranda’ on my notebook.

These two just break you from the beginning. Miranda is so determined and it’s exactly what Liam needs, even though he REALLY doesn’t want it. At least, for a while. But when he does need her in the most heartbreaking way, she’s there for him, through it all. There are deep lows and lofty highs for these two, and you get that with young love like theirs. All these emotions and hormones—Mrs. MacQueen does a really great job of capturing them. I broke with them when they broke, and grinned through all the banter and happy times. A truly enjoyable read, and I can’t wait for Levi’s book.
Both Miranda and Liam’s home life broke my heart but I’m glad they found each other. It was wonderful seeing Noah and Frankie again.
For Liam it was hate at first sight or was it? Miranda came in like a hurricane and changed his world forever whether he wanted it or not. Liams life is spiraling out of control and the last thing he needs is one more complication, but sometimes who you need the most comes at the worst time. Miranda has never been wanted in her life. She is nothing but an inconvenience to her parents so she decides to move in with her best friend Frankie. She like Liam at first but for some reason he hated her on first sight and though she has tried to be his friend he always pushes her away. When she finds out what he is going through she refuses to just stand by and decides whether he wants her in his life or not Liam has her. I absolutely loved this book and it was a fatastic continuation of the first book. These two had to go through a lot in order to get thier hea but it was so well deserved. I loved both of these couples and I hop we can hear more of them in the future.

Sigh she’s done it again, pulled me in and didn’t let go. Had me feeling all the feels, and emotions. Starting this book I wasn’t really sure if I was going to LOVE Liam, but he quickly attaches himself to the reader and uses all his charm and good brotherness to change that! I love how strongly the characters are developed and how real they feel to me, the storyline as always was 100% on point and had just the right amount of angst, romance, and feeling to make it a fantastic read! Can’t wait for another story from this author!
I’ve loved Miranda’s character since the first book in this series – she’s spunky, sassy, and so much fun. I was hoping this second book would be hers, and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. You could tell from the first book that there was a love/hate relationship going on between her and Liam, and to finally be able to explore that relationship was fantastic.
Liam goes through so much more than I was anticipating, and there were some points where my emotions were so high that I had to put the book down and take some deep breaths. What Liam goes through in this book left me heartbroken, but I was so proud of the evolution he made in the book, of the man he became when he didn’t have to. And Macy – oh sweet heavens, Macy. You will ADORE her.
Overall, this book was such a good read. It went deeper than I was anticipating, had my emotions in a jumbled mess for awhile, and was one I finished in just a few hours. What a great read.

Liam has a problem and that is Miranda is driving me crazy. Miranda wants to be Liam’s friend but he just can’t because of everything that is going on in his life. She’s set her sights on me, wants to be friends, but I can’t. I need to focus on more important things. Miranda is hiding something from Liam and he bound to find out what it is no matter what. Will these two get a chance to have a relationship or will be nothing more than just friends. Read this book to see what happens with Miranda and Liam.

Great story about troubled teenagers – heartwarming and emotional
After the first part in the series and how it ended I couldn’t pass this one up. I’m so happy I got my hands on it. It’s such a great read, very well written. Characters are easy to connect to and what I love most about them they are complicated, with troubled souls and broken hearts. Life is not easy whether you are an adult or a teenager. But it can be really cruel especially while you are at the brink of adulthood and would use some love and support from your parents to help to transition during this special time. Author captured perfectly all the aspects of this difficult time. Loved how the story of Miranda and Liam unraveled, it was so easy to be along with every step they took toward their future together. Loved their chemistry, their dynamics and how under all the exterior there were hidden big hearts capable of love, goodness and forgiveness. To top it all we got glimpses from the relationship of Frankie and Noah and also we got this sweet, lovable little girl Macy, that I fully and completely fallen in love with. Would love to read more from their world in the future.
3.5 stars—Never Giving Up features Miranda and Liam. While Miranda wants to be Liam’s friend, he can’t stand her and repeatedly pushes her away until she accidentally learns his students. Then they quickly become more than friends. When circumstances push them apart again, can they find their way back to each other?
This book deals with heavy issues and had great potential, but it fell a bit short for me. The characters’ dislike for each other turned too quickly into forever love and I would have liked the relationship to take a little bit more time to develop. I didn’t quite understand why they loved each other so much. On one hand, the characters seemed to be a lot older than high school, but at other times, they seemed very much like they were in high school.
I did like Miranda and Liam and there were some great moments in the book. Both had tragic histories to overcome and they seemed to be make each other stronger. Overall, it was a fast read with a compelling story.
