Jayden Baxter is so not my type: a soldier on leave with no plans of sticking around. But life has pulled me down and when he looks at me across the bar, my spirits lift for the first time months. His smoldering grey eyes help. So does the way his hand rests in the small of my back. When Bax makes me an offer, I say yes.Crazy? Maybe. But two weeks on the road with no-strings is the breath of fresh … no-strings is the breath of fresh air I crave.
It was supposed to be a chance to let loose … but a few days in my heart is tied up in knots.
I don’t want this trip to end.
He won’t make any promises — his past makes him want to run.
But one thing’s for sure…I’ll never forget him.
Never Forget Him is the first installment of Tracy Lorraine’s steamy military romance series, Never Forget.

When Erin meets Jay and spends two weeks with him on a whirlwind trip, she knows she’s met her one. But, at the end of their arranged two weeks, he leaves her with the promise of coming back from Afghanistan and meeting up with her. He leaves her an incredible kiss and a note “13/10/2012. I promise x.”
But 6 months later when Erin arrives for their reunion and waits for hours but Jay doesn’t show up, she’s heartbroken. The man she had fallen in love with in two short weeks hadn’t come back for her. What were she and their new surprise going to do? Well, as happens in Never Forget Us, she moves on with her life.
I mostly liked Never Forget Him, but it was too short and under developed for my tastes. I wish that Never Forget Him and Never Forget Us had just been combined into one book, because dividing it up into 2 small installments made me feel cheated and I didn’t get to know either character very well in this first installment.
This is such a powerful story it grabs your heart and raises your spirit as it takes you along their journey of love. It captures you and keeps you centered in their story until the last page. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
WOW a lovely 2 week holiday romance, but there’s more….. One clicked the second book as soon as I’d finished this one. Absolutely love Erin & Bax.
