Never Enough was my introduction to Kelly Elliott’s work. I found myself immediately drawn into this small-town second chance romance. So much so that I’m going to immediately start the next book.
Brock is a single dad with a tragic past which slowly unfolds while he gets to know the new girl in town, Lincoln. Lincoln moved across the country to get out from under her parents’ thumb. As she starts her new life, she meets Blayze, Brock’s adorable 5-year-old son. When she gets her first look at Brock, she gets all tingly inside. The story really takes off from there by slowly revealing to the reader as well as Lincoln what tragic event happened in Brock’s past to make him the way he is today. You will have to read to find out about this event as well as Brock and Lincoln’s happily ever after.
Absolutely loved this one. Lincoln moves to Montana to start a new job and new life unaware that she’s moving into the home that Brock (a pro bull rider) and his wife once lived in.
He doesn’t want the house, but is a bit of a jerk when he learns that its being occupied. While he’s not happy about Lincoln moving in, he can’t deny his attraction to her.
Throw in an adorable Blaze, Brock’s son, his brothers, their parents, and Lincoln’s BFF, this is a great read and the start of an addicting series. Once I was done, I immediately started the second book
I loved this so much I got it to listen to over and over again! (Originally I used KU) The story just makes me want to hug it. The characters are fun, flirty and interesting. I love that she just up and went to Montana for a job. Very daring! Then there is the whole bull riding thing (cowboys and bulls=hot guys). I loved Brock! He is on the edge but slowly works his way down with Lincoln around. Blaze! I think I love this kid! He adds a lot to the story and every scene with him in it almost got stolen.
Then there is the amazing family of Brocks! Each one I enjoy getting to know. Brothers and their bickering and interfering make this fun. Friends (Dirk and Kaylee) made me laugh so much. I also had some serious moments involving Dirk.
Overall this is one story I can listen to over and over. If you couldn’t guess did listen to this on audio. Alexander Cendese and Gabrielle Cendese really did a wonderful job on this. Plus every time they spoke as Blaze? I couldn’t stop smiling. They added the enthusiasm and joy of this little boy into their voices.
I loved this cowboy romance. Highly recommend.
I absolutely loved Never Enough, the first book the Meet Me in Montana series, by Kelly Elliott! I could not put it down. Who doesn’t love big families, cowboys and love stories? Kelly Elliott has once again proven that she is an incredible story teller. I have loved every book that I have read that Kelly Elliott has written. I love that she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Never Enough is filled with promises broken and renewed and secrets shared and discovered. I truly love the lighter moments of Never Enough where I found myself smiling and laughing. My favorite moments are the ones that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Never Enough is filled with such moments. Never Enough is love at first sight story between, Lincoln Pratt, an interior designer who recently relocated from Atlanta, Georgia to Hamilton, Montana and Brock Shaw, champion bull rider, single father to five-year-old, Blayze and former owner of Lincoln’s new home. Brock had lived in the house with his wife Kaci, prior to her death. He has not returned to the house since. Tempers flare when the first time that Lincoln and Brock meet each other in the barn at Lincoln’s house where Blayze is talking about his mother. Lincoln thinks that Brock hates her since he is always so angry at her when they are near one another. Brock shares the story of his life and marriage to Kaci with Lincoln. The relationship between Lincoln and Brock changes when the family attends a bull riding event in Billings. When Brock is injured during a local charity event, life changes for both Lincoln and Brock. My favorite part was when Blayze told Brock about the dream he had about his Momma. I loved the innocence of Blayze and all he added to the story. Once again Kelly Elliott writes about strong, beautiful women and hot, sexy men, I love all her characters, especially when big families are included. Who doesn’t love reading a story about love at first sight? Never Enough is filled with bittersweet and poignant moments and the surprise plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in Kelly Elliott’s stories. My favorite part of her stories are the Epilogues, I love how the happily ever after gets all wrapped up. Never Enough is a wonderfully written story and I loved every moment. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.
It was hard not to swoon over this bull rider, while at the same time, I wanted to swat him with his own hat. I love that Lincoln called him out and told him off. To be fair, Brock was hiding behind his attitude. I think Blayze was the star of this book. Innocent, but sassy, he was also a little charmer. I think I melted for this little man. It was small town, it was country, it was everyone in your business, but I loved it. I think I’ve give it 5 more stars just for Blayze’s favorite song being “When I Pray For You.”
I love Kelly’s books always a happy ending interesting throughout the whole book it’s just uplifting I love her writing
This is the first book in the Meet Me in Montana series and it was a great start to the series. Lincoln and Brock were sooo good together. The attraction and chemistry between them was off the charts. If you love hot cowboys, then you need to pick this book up. Ms. Elliott had done it again and I am can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This heartwarming story about family, healing, and finding love again had me laughing, swooning, and tearing up. Kelly Elliott weaves a tale that small-town romance lovers with a weakness for cowboys will be sure to love.
…A swoon-worthy start to an incredible new series you don’t want to miss.
Moving, playful, and oh-so-sexy… Excuse me while I swoon.
Funny, sassy, and steamy in all the right measure, Kelly Elliott hit it out of the park with Never Enough. Loved every second of this heartwarming story about love, loss, and starting over. Not to be missed.
I absolutely love everything that Kelly Elliott writes. Never Enough is the first book in her Meet Me in Montana series. This book is told in alternating POVs and has an HEA.
Lincoln Pratt is ready to move out of the big city of Atlanta and start a new life in a small town in Montana. She buys a home from a man she has never met and when she does she is less than impressed with him. He is very good looking but is very rude to her and she doesn’t have time to deal with that. She simply wants to start her new job and remodel her new home.
Brock Shaw spends his life riding bulls for a living. He carries alot of guilt for things that happened in his past. When he first meets the woman buying his house he is very defensive and rude to her. He finds her attractive but knows he is not the relationship type. The more time these two spend together the stronger their feelings get. Will Lincoln be able to handle Brock’s life as a bull rider? Will Brock be able to let his walls down and let Lincoln in?
I loved the connection between Brock and Lincoln. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. I absolutely love Blayze and can’t wait to watch him grow up in this new series. I am super excited for the next book in this new series from Kelly!!
From Texas to Montana…..there isn’t a sexy cowboy that Kelly can’t write about. This book was soooo good. Brock and Lincoln’s story was perfect. Lincoln is a very independent woman that needed to get away from her over baring parents. Brock Shaw is a sexy adrenaline junkie cowboy. You can just imagine what happens between these too. Not only did I really enjoy reading about Brock and Lincoln but all the other characters I enjoyed as well. The Shaw men are going to make some women very happy. I can’t wait to see what the second book will be about.
This is book 1 in the Meet Me In Montana Series. It’s a heartfelt story that consumes you from the start. It’s a book of healing and strong family ties after a disaster. We get a Sexy bull rider, a sassy heroine and an adorable little boy. It’s a single dad, small town, cowboy romance. You can’t help falling in love with these characters. They just steal your heart. I can’t wait to see where Kelly leads us with this series. I swooned, I cried and I laughed out loud. If you like Sassy heroine’s, broken sexy cowboys and adorable little kids, this is the book for you. A must read.
I cannot begin to express how much I loved reading Never Enough by Kelly Elliott. The story was emotional, charming and angsty with characters I adored and a story I devoured. Brock Shaw broke my heart. He was a good man with a caring heart, but the past weighs heavily on him. Intent on forgetting this past mistakes, bull riding has become his escape. And yet he is full of guilt every time he leaves his son with his parents for work.
Lincoln is looking for a fresh start and this small town in Montana may just be what she needs. What she never expected was Brock and his adorable son to steal her heart. But Brock is not an easy man to love. Letting love in again was never his intention, but right from when they meet, the chemistry and connection is there. Can he learn to let Lincoln in?
I absolutely loved Never Enough by Kelly Elliot. It was emotional, angsty and heartwarming. I loved the characters so much and cannot wait to see what comes next in the series, though I have an idea! A great read and one I highly recommend.
