This is the first one I have listened to by this author and it will not be the last. Brock Shaw is a pro bull rider and has sold his home to an interior decorator and the first time he sees her he is lost. Good thing she feels the same. Lincoln has moved to Montana to start a new life and set down roots and after getting to know the little guy next door and now his dad she is lost. Will they be able to get past all the ghosts in his past? This was a great book, not much substance but a great story. I’m looking forward to the next book.
Brock has sworn that he’ll never fall in love again, he d@mn sure doesn’t deserve to drag another woman into his own nightmare.
Lincoln has just moved to Hamilton, Montana and loves her house, and her neighbors. When she finally meets Brock though, she is less than impressed.
Brock knows he’s been a jerk, but honestly he doesn’t know why anyone expected any different. He’s just not been fit for company for the last 5 years. When he begs Lincoln not to leave him one night he never expected her to keep his drunk a$$ company, and now he feels incredibly guilty because he could never possibly make her happy, but one kiss could make liars of both of them.
A sinfully sexy, instalove novel about a bull rider and his cowgirl. Definitely worth all 5s.
The first book of the new series. In this one, Lincon wants to start her life one her own turns and she moves in Montant in a former house from Brook the bull-rider. Brook has a lot of baggage and guilt from the past will he be able to overcome all for Lincoln? I have mixed feelings about the book I liked that it has its funny moments, both Brook and Lincoln are ok characters their love story is just a little bit predictable it could be more developed she just falls all to fast for him. The story about the family drama and I am waiting to see how will another from Shows brother fall in love.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
Never Enough was such amazing instalove cowboy romance! Still swooning over the sexy bull rider Brock and the sweet and smart Lincoln, love the chemistry these two have! Loved all the characters, especially that adorable little boy Blayze Brock’s son and Mrs Stella Shaw Brock’s Mom! Looking forward to Ty’s story, and l really hope we get a story for Dirk down the track!
The Details:
– 18+
– Book 1 in Meet Me in Montana standalone series
– Contemporary/Small Town Romance
– Emotional Rollercoasting Reading
– Addictive Reading
First up, let me say that as soon as I finished reading this book, I immediately started making plans to binge read her impressive backlist of books. I own all of them and am happily planning spending the next couple of months reading through them all because after reading this sweet, heartwarming, emotional book, I just don’t want to leave the world(s) that Kelly Elliott has created.
This book had me hooked as soon as I read the blurb and I started to look forward to reading it. Nevertheless, life got in the way and it wasn’t until a few days ago that I found the time to sit down and read this book and I was immediately immersed into the story.
I love the characters in this new series and I can’t wait to read the next book.
Thank you for another fantastic read Kelly Elliott!
Never Enough is the first book in Kelly Elliott’s new series Meet Me in Montana. The story is heartwarming, family, second chance at love, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Brock is so swoon-worthy, a bit of a jerk, and dealing with loss, bull rider, single father. Lincoln is sweet and caring, she’s starting a new adventure, interior designer, and when she meets this rugged cowboy, she doesn’t know whether to lasso him, or strangle him. So much chemistry, I surprised my kindle didn’t start fire. I liked the best friends, and family dynamics, they added some funny moments. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
I received this from NetGalley.
5 Heartfelt Stars
Oh my heart! Brock Shaw took it and ran away with it. This story touch me in so many ways. My heart definitely broke for Brock. The man’s past weighed heavily on him and kept him from ever wanting to find love again. This man with a heart of gold, was a great father, but was definitely a little lost and a lot broken. The man blamed himself for everything. Lincoln Pratt has moved to Montana for a fresh start. New job, new life, and not under the thumb of her parents any longer. Buying a house on a ranch was just what she needed. What she didn’t want to need was the former owner, Brock Shaw. The chemistry between these two is so hot it practically melted my kindle.
I enjoyed Never Enough from Kelly Elliott so much. No one writes a better cowboy than her! Such a heartbreakingly beautiful love story. This new series has some amazing characters and I can’t wait for the next book. Bring on Ty and Kaylee!
Angela – Alphas Do It Better Book Blog
An incredible story set in the Mountains of Montana – Lincoln Pratt needed to get away from Atlanta and she found her slice of heaven in Hamilton, Montana. Brock Shaw lived and breathed to be a Bull Rider even at the cost well everything.
When these two meet it’s like Fire and Ice…until it isn’t!
This book will keep you captivated and bring you to tears Kudos to Kelly Elliott for such a wonderful story.
Title: Never Enough by – Kelly Elliott
Standalone
Genre: Enemies-to-lovers
My rating: 4.5 Stars
Do you love enemies-to-lovers tropes? If so, I think this might be right up your alley!
I’m not new to this author, Kelly Elliott is one of my favorite’s since her ‘Wanted’ series.
And she did not disappoint with this one.
Without delving too much and spoiling it for you; I will say this book was very entertaining and I enjoyed every bit of it.
We start off with Brock Shaw, a recent widower whose immersed himself in Bull riding to escape the pain and guilt he feels after losing his wife. Brock has a son (Blayze) and often leaves him with his family to get his adrenaline high. He’s lost sight of what’s important until a certain (stunning) Atlanta native trods through his stomping grounds.
Vivacious and sassy, Lincoln Pratt moves to Montana to get a fresh start. A clean slate.
She hadn’t expected buying a home from a mysterious guy would lead to the most cantankerous love-hate relationship she’d ever had.
Sparks fly.
Hearts ignite.
Passions fuse.
Till they both realize they can no longer avoid one another.
They crash into each and explore their new sexafide palpable
attraction that’s consuming them.
Will Lincoln be able to handle Brock’s erratic lifestyle: travel, Bull riding, the whole-nine? Will Brock let down his walls and let Lincoln in once-and-for-all before it’s too late?
Final thoughts…
I loved this story. Loved the plot. Loved the characters thought they were well developed. Loved the secondary characters as well. Can’t wait to read Kaylee’s story in Always Enough that’s coming soon! I highly recommend reading!
*I received this wonderful from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*
Ride ’em cowboy!
This book has it all. Sexy cowboys, sassy ladies and wacky side characters. There was just the right amount of romance, heat and drama. Brock is suffering with guilt from his past and has a hard time forgiving himself and moving forward with his life. He’s convinced he doesn’t deserve a second chance at love but Lincoln is able to break down his walls and show him that together they can find happiness. Despite an amazing hero and heroine I must say 5 year old Blayze stole the show!
This book contained a lot of details about professional bull riding which I found interesting and terrifying in equal measures. All in all a great read and I look forward to hopefully reading more about these Montana cowboys and the ladies who rope them.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
Emotionally thrilling, sexy, fun and engaging romantic journey filled with exciting charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and undeniable passion….. was a great read. Really was an enjoyable adventure!
My goodness, what a truly amazing book. This author never disappoints; I know that I can read any one of her books and get all of the feels that I love. The journey of this beautiful cowboy and sweet sweet soul was fantastic to witness. And don’t get me started on how much I loved Blayze and all of the other supporting characters. So much love between this phenomenal group of family and friends.
I LOVED this book! This is going to be an amazing series!! I can already see all the secondary characters I want to get a book. I want the Shaw brothers but I also need Dirk and Chance!
Kelly has once again made me fall in love with her characters! I have to say Brock was a surprise for me. He was a beautifully broken guy. He had his way of dealing with his issues. My heart broke for him.
Blayze was a little heartbreaker!!! I loved him!! He was such a flirt. Brock is going to have his hands full with that boy!!!
Lincoln was a strong independent woman. Someone you want in your corner. She knows what she wants and she isn’t afraid to go after it. Even if it’s scary.
This is going to be another amazing series by Kelly. She’s once again made me fall in love with all the characters! I cannot wait until the next book comes out! I really hope it’s Ty and Kaylee!!
What a way to start a series!! It was reminiscent of The Longest Ride, which I also loved. I truly loved how fast paced Brock and Lincoln’s relationship evolved. It brought me back to the early stages of a relationship where neither can get enough of eachother and you’re both recklessly all in.
Man Lincoln is freaking awesome!!! God I love her quick whit and determination to make sure Brock saw more to life. Brock may have quilt for a lot of things, but this very smart sexy woman is determined to show him more.

“Ever since I first met you, you’ve been a beautiful dream that plays alongside a nightmare.”
I try really hard to read a series in order, even if all the books are standalones. I ended up reading the third book in this series first, because I signed up for an ARC and had no idea it was part of a series. I loved that book, and the one after it, so I knew I had to make a point and read the first two books in the series.
Brock Shaw is a professional bull rider. He’s working towards his third world championship in the PBR. He blames himself for what happened to his son’s mother, and has vowed that he’d never let his heart love again. Lincoln moved to Montana from Georgia for a fresh start. Her father was very controlling when it came to decisions in her interior design business and she wanted to prove that she could do things on her own. She moves onto the Shaw ranch, the house Brock used to live in, and quickly becomes involved in their lives.
Never Enough was such a great read/listen! I had previously met Brock, Blayze, and Lincoln in the third book, but I fell in love with them when I read their beginning; how they met and their journey of how they came to be. Oh my gosh, Blayze. What a little heartbreaker! He absolutely melted my heart at times throughout this book. Him and Lincoln develop a sweet relationship quickly throughout this story, and I loved seeing Brock and Lincoln get to know each other, even though they didn’t start out on the right foot. Brock and Lincoln have great chemistry, a strong connection, and I just loved everything about their story and their time together!
This was a beautiful story about second chances. I loved learning the ins and outs of bull riding as well. I never really paid much attention to it, but that’s one thing I love about reading – you learn so many new things!
I loved Lincoln and Kaylee’s friendship, and the glimpses of Ty and Kaylee throughout the story, and cannot wait to share my thoughts on their story next!
Come fall in Love with The Shaw Family in Meet Me in Montana as I did. OH my goodness. Right from the get-go author Kelly Elliot had my heartstrings with the little cowboy Blayze and his hot as sin Bullrider daddy Brock. Or maybe it is will be Uncle Ty who is running the Ranch and being a surrogate father to Blayze while Brock is out on the circuit? Then we have beautiful Lincoln who had relocated to Hamilton City from Georgia and has moved into Brock’s old farmhouse. Lots of ghosts that need to be staged out of this place and Lincoln is this the gal to do it. She is beautiful and a great head on her shoulders plus she comes with an addition of Kaylee …another stunner who we get to know in-depth in another book. This book flowed and enjoyed it so much as soon as I finished it I grabbed the next book in this series. The Shaw family is full of love yes but man do they have some awesome character and fun too.
Audio review:
I loved Lincoln and Brock!
From Blaze and Lincoln’s sweet interactions to Brock FINALLY giving in – I loved all of it.
The growth of Brock during this book was quite astounding.
There was plenty of banter, steam, and the cutest little boy in the history of books – seriously, that kid has swagger!
I felt that some of the narration fell a little flat in some areas, but overall, it was well presented.
Oh wow! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Never Enough is the first book I’ve read by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last.
Lincoln is an amazing leading lady. She’s such a beautiful, strong and kind person, and I fell in love with her instantly. Brock is also a great character. He’s good looking and rides bulls for a living, but he’s also a broken man living with guilt from his past.
I could feel the heat and connection when Lincoln and Brock first met. No matter how hard Brock tried to ignore Lincoln, specifically the feelings she stirred inside him, meeting her caused him to actually have to deal with some issues he had ignored from his past. She brought him back to life and it was sweet having a front row seat and watching.
Brock’s son Blayze was absolutely adorable. It’s no wonder Lincoln was crazy about him.
The secondary characters were all fun and I’m looking forward to getting their stories. Ty and Kaylee obviously have something brewing between them. Tanner is sweet and needs a happy ending. I also believe it’s time that Dirk found himself a special woman as well.
