I found this story to be a fascinating take on the fae world, combining my love of fantasy and travel. It was very imaginative and interesting. The characters were engaging and found myself very interested to find out what would happen next in the story. This author has a very intriguing voice and I look forward to seeing how the series continues. A very fun read!
Never Date a Siren by Byrd Nash is the first book in the College Fae magic series.
This book is a unique story combining the supernatural with the normal. It isn’t like any other book that I have read and it was thoroughly enjoyable.
The characters were all instantly likeable, with a host of interesting secondary characters to support the main 2. Although a quick story to read it was well developed and definitely caught my interest. I am certainly looking forward to book 2!

Logan is a college student who is at the end of his tether after his encounter with a siren. But when he meets the sassy, feisty and mysterious Brigit, a dryad princess she becomes his teacher and due to his help a debt is owed and so she decides to help him fight the siren who has beguiled him and thus begins the adventure.
I very much look forward to what comes next.
While this is not normally the type of book I tend to read, I have to say I was very happy to go outside my comfort zone with this one. The journey that Brigit finds herself on because of a human named Logan was quite adventurous for her first year of college. Logan is an exchange student from America who fell under the fatal spell of a Siren. Brigit is a runaway Fae who becomes indebted to her human roommate, Logan, and will not rest until her debt is paid. In order for her debt to be repaid, Brigit has decided to take it upon herself to figure out how to free Logan from the spell the Siren has put on him and essentially save his life. Will she be able to get it done in the allotted time frame? I can’t wait for the second installment of the College Fae Series by Byrd Nash.
