Second Chance at the Corner of Main Street – I love second chance books and this one was one of the best that I have read. Such a sweet story of forgiveness, reconciliation, and taking another chance at love. I also like how it wasn’t instantaneous but moved at the pace I like. Of course there was some angst but loved how it played out. The ending was awesome.
Christmas at the End of Main Street – Can two people who don’t want a real relationship keep a fake one fake? Macie and Aaron give it a try. Loved the meddling students, friends, and family that give them enough of a shove to make it real. Enjoyed seeing Nestle Hollow at Christmas time.
More than Friends in the Middle of Main Street – Brooke and Cole are definitely opposites. This works great in their 3 year long friendship but will it make for a lasting love? Cole’s daughter Samantha is so cute. Loved how excited she got about her birthday party. Secret attraction/crush and both afraid of losing their friendship. Lots of internal dialogue and some angst but …..
Wonderful, sweet, clean, small town romances.
Second Chance:
I loved this second chance romance. Amazing characters and a solid storyline. I loved the descriptions of the town and the activities. It felt like I was there living this story.
Christmas:
I absolutely adored this fake relationship romance! The characters were amazing – both together and themselves working through their own issues and hang ups. This book has so much development of the characters and wisdom. Lots of fun times and family.
More than Friends:
I loved this best friends romance. I loved the scheduled versus the spontaneous personalities plus the vibrancy of a 10 year old. I liked the wisdom in this book – both for life and marriage. I look forward to the next book.
YOu will fall in love with Neslted Hollow and all their wonderful people and they help other. Whitney and Eli, Macie and Aaron and Brooke and Cole will fall under the town spell and find love and happiness. A must read,
In Second Chance on the Corner of Main, Eli Treanor ran away from his family and his girlfriend Whitney Brennan twelve years ago because he thought none of them really loved him and that he could never measure up to their expectations. People in Whitney’s life have left her: Eli, her father when he died, her fiancé when he left her for a job in New York, her mother and sister Jackie when they moved away to South Carolina, and her boss and mentor when he died soon after signing over running the Nested Hollow Gazette to her. When Eli’s father is injured he goes back home to Nestled Hollow to help him and ends up on the planning committee for the Fall Market with Whitney. Neither them has ever stopped loving the other. Can they overcome past hurts and find a way back together? I loved the idea of Eli’s company TeamUp that came up with fun and creative team building exercises for companies. The festival sounded magical and it made me want to visit a town like Nestled Hollow.
In More than Friends in the Middle of Main, restaurant owner and widower with an almost ten year old daughter Samantha, Cole is a planner. He’s been attracted to free spirited Brooke for a while, but he knows she doesn’t want to get married and he’s afraid to ruin their friendship. They finally get the courage to admit their feelings and Brooke gets scared when they disagree and Cole worries that Brooke’s lack of stability will hurt his daughter. Both have a lot going on in their lives with planning Sam’s birthday party and Brooke trying to land a major department store with her clothing line By the Brooke. They both have to learn to give and compromise. Brooke has to learn that it’s ok to open herself to partnerships and trust the other person will have her back. Sam was so cute and loved Brooke, who was great with her.
These were sweet, funny, and clean romances with plenty of ups and downs. I love this series and can’t wait to read single mom Tory’s story next.
