nerdgasm (noun): an emotional climax at the peak of intense (sometimes sexual) excitement, characterized by a deep attraction to nerdy things and/or people. My stutter makes it easy to become the center of attention for all the wrong reasons, so I try hard to stay out of the spotlight. But when Addison Mitchell breezes into the class I TA for, she turns my world upside down, shaking me out of my … me out of my comfort zone.
Confident and bold, her wandering hands set my body on fire.
She sees the real me, and she’s still interested.
I’m completely out of my element, yet I’ve never felt more alive.
Fingers crossed we’re not a one-off fling.
I have a lot to learn, but I’m willing to make this work.
I’m going to give her more than a nerdgasm.
I’m going to give her my heart.

Nerdgasm was a fantastic read with a refreshing sexual experience reversal element. Theo, this sweet beta nerd has made me fall in love with his adorable stutter and quiet demeanour. And Addy, this confident and bold heroine who goes for what she wants, initiating the first steps with Theo had me fangirling. Despite their differences, these two made a perfect match, complementing one another, and rocking each other’s world with their hot chemistry.
I recieved a free copy of this book and I’m leaving a voluntary review.
I love Kimberley Reese writing. This is a fantasic read.
Theo is a shy and kind boy who struggles with a stutter but then he meets Addy. She helps him with his confidence.
This is a super quick read and it has little steam but it doesn’t take it away from the main story.
I highly recommend picking this up
Kimberly does another amazing story. Love Theo Addy’s story. Who doesn’t love a hot shy nerd. Looking forward to what comes next from Kimberly.
This book was hillarious.. talking about young love…I love how it was carefree.. the author describes the characters with each unique personality.. this book gave me a new courage.. loving amd support…
Its sexy without being too much.. it was a very toughtful story and I was swoon!
***4 ‘Orange (the fruit) Stars***
The title was the hook.
Straight up. No lie.
I mean, upon seeing it how could one NOT be just a little curious and want to take a closer look and lemme tell you, I’m happy I did. Nerdgasm was all kinds of sweet, swoony, adorkable and smexy and I loved every word of it!
Theo is seriously adorkably smexy and has no clue which just ramps up his appeal. He’s intelligent, a little goofy and has this quiet confidence that exudes from him. He has his insecurities and yet he owns them in such a way that makes you admire him and all that he’s accomplished. Addison is a little spitfire. I mean this girl has moxie in spades and isn’t afraid to let her light shine. I loved how she could take charge and take what she wanted while not totally taking over a situation.
Their journey to their HEA is all kinds of sweet and smexy and I swear I was dopey smiling the entire time, with a couple of exceptions (of course). I loved how well they flowed together, their bantering was a lot of fun and loved how much they not only respected each other, but truly enjoyed being together. And then there is the smexy…they were simply HAWT together. The roadblock that appears in their journey wasn’t necessarily a surprise, but I found that I didn’t necessarily favor one over the other after it all went down. I did have a “Ooooohhhh” moment, but when the dust settled I felt for both of them. But the way things worked out, that was pretty awesome!
This is my first read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was hooked from the start and loved how everything progressed. The writing was engaging, pacing was good and the dual 1st person POV was done well. The secondary characters were all well written, Demi was all kinds of awesomeness and I really liked Cohen, so I’m hoping that we’ll be spending some time with both of them in the future.

Theo is the man he is today because he never let his stuttering get in the way of making his dreams come true. He ignored the kids who bullied him throughout school, and he never told his mother about it because he didn’t want her to worry or be sad. He studied hard and received a full scholarship to undergraduate and graduate school where he is studying for a Masters Degree in Mythological Studies, and he is also a Teaching Assistant for the Intro to Greek Mythology class. To relax, Theo swims everyday which helps him to clear his mind, because all he hears is the ripple of the waves splashing, as he swims back and forth.
Theo has very little experience when it comes to girls and he doesn’t know how to ask a girl out or plan a date, which is why he usually keeps to himself and leaves the dating to the cool guys. When he accidently bumped into Addy, he felt something stir inside him that he was unfamiliar with and when he noticed that she was one of his students, he couldn’t believe his good luck. Addy was very beautiful with her bouncy, blonde hair and carefree smile and he found it hard to concentrate because she kept staring at him during class They met on their way out of the building and their hands touched as they both reached for the door. Magical sparks moved up his arm as he gazed at Addy longingly and even if he was in way over his head, he couldn’t be happier.
Will Theo break free from his comfort zone and allow Addy to show him how it feels to be loved and desired?
“Nerdgasm”!! What an ingenious and creative idea for a book!! The tender romance between Theo and Addy is sweet and heartwarming as well as sensuous and passionate. Kimberly Reese has given us a fresh approach to young love and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Oh. This. Book! To say that I enjoyed this book would be a severe understatement! Theo and Addy were just adorable! The progression of their relationship stayed so true to who the characters were. The sexual tension was very real, and so warranted! Theo totally makes being a nerd with a stutter super sexy! After hearing about his relationship with Demi (his best friend since childhood), you knew that any woman who was going to win his heart had to be very strong willed and secure with herself. Addy was exactly that woman. She had such confidence in herself while interacting with Theo, making the first move in just about everything!
“You said you’d always keep me safe, and I knew my heart was safe with you.” ~Addy
Does it really get any sweeter than that?
There is no way I could give this book anything other than 5 nerd …. unless I could give it more.
Everyone needs this book, like now! Hot. Sweet. Great moral story. And then you also get introduced to some other pretty great characters that you hope will one day get their own books!
I really wanted to love this one. I mean, we’re talking about a student teacher (college level), nice guy hero (a real cinnamon roll) with a stutter falling for one of the students in his class? I’m all in! But I didn’t notice this was a novella before I picked it up. Novellas, in my experience, aren’t typically long enough to make romances super believable. (That’s not always the case, of course. But it does hold true more often than not…for me, anyway.) That was the case here, I’m afraid. Theo is practically perfect in every way, Addison is your typical ray of sunshine, cheerleader type, and the conflict between them is…well, it’s non-existent. This was basically the story of two really nice people meeting and falling in love–at lightning speed. I don’t mind low-angst (I prefer it, actually), but this is a NO angst read. It was decent, just a little boring, I guess. And, this is an aside, but there’s a scene where Theo, a virgin, asks his boss (the professor he’s assisting) for advice on how to, um, pleasure a woman orally. Ahem. And, I shit you not, the advice involves a demonstration on an orange. I’ve never read anything that made me cringe so hard at the sheer awkwardness of it all. Yikes! That scene alone lost the book 2 stars. *shudders* But, I mean, at the end of the day, it wasn’t an awful read. If you’re in the mood for a quick, no angst read about a real sweetheart of a hero, this one’s something to consider. Just skip ahead when the orange comes out, yeah? You’ll thank me later.
This was a quick, fun read. I love this trope so much. It doesn’t matter to me what gender is which. But it is a rare find that you have the hero nerd and popular girl. Theo had me smitten from the very beginning, and I couldn’t wait for every last word printed. If you need a feel good quick read…this is it!
An easy read about a hot nerd and a sexy Theo. A few steamy scenes and all
Nerdgasms Rock!
Such a beautiful, sweet and sexy tale of love and friendships!
Thank you, Kimberly Reese, for providing such food for our hearts and souls. Being able to view the world through Theo, Addy, and Demi’s eyes brought back those tummy tickling, nerves twitching, first time feelings and fast friendships.
I absolutely adored this wonderful story and will now devotedly read all the words Kimberly shares with us!
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful! You have a new fan in me!
5 stars for Nerdgasm by Kimberly Reese. This is my first book from this author, and I will tell you it will not be my last. I loved every single bit of this story. “A nerdgasm! It’s like having an orgasm from his nerdiness, which is fitting since it sounds like he’s nerdy we dream.” I love Theo, he is just this down to earth hottie. Theo has had a stutter his whole life but has learned to cope with it. He is a TA now and his nerves are making his stutter return around a certain woman. Addison is attracted to Theo right from the start. After having been made fun of most of his life he has issues with trusting people. Can he trust when Addison says she finds his stutter adorable.
I love how this book is different. In this book the woman is more experienced and the one going after what she wants. Theo is a virgin and the shy one and I really like that. Most books that you read nowadays the man is a caveman and all in your face with what he wants, and in this book it is different. Addison is more of the caveman/ or cavewoman in this case and I love that.
The cover of this book is what caught my eye to begin with. It looked so tense and intriguing that I had to dive in and read it. This is a contemporary romance and opposites attract book. This is great work from Kimberly Reese.
A sweet quick read, a nerdy guy with outgoing confident girl.
Loved the characters and compelling plot.
This is type of book, you can’t put down,
that entertains you from beginning to end.
Very cute and Funny
I found Nerdgasm very cute and funny. The characters are extremely adorable, and I love their chemistry. I am personally drawn to Nerds as I am one too and I love Theo. I also love that Addison is attracted to Theo, and isn’t afraid to show it. I enjoyed Kimberly Reese writing and I’m ready to devour more, her words made me laugh and I loved her references. I love romantic comedies, and this did not disappoint. Great slow burn, funny, romantic, and a HEA.
absolutely Adorkable!
Theo is sweet, shy, and nerdy hot. Addy is confident, beautiful, and easygoing. Together they are hilariously geeky.
I loved everything about this story. Its a bit of a role reversal. Theo is bullied and has a bit of trouble with a speech impediment. I love that the male here is the “vulnerable” one here but in a completely unemasculating way.
Its down to earth but still sweet, romantic, and steamy at times.
Another hot 5 star read by an author I only discovered very recently. As with Sin and Cider, I’m left needing to read book 2 and felt real disappointment knowing I’ve got to wait. I’m excited to see what else this talented author comes up with, and I would recommend that you pick up her books if you haven’t already. This one is full of steam, but also shows the battle of growing up with a stammer. It isn’t until Theo meets Addy that he realises he maybe hasn’t accepted his stammer as much as he thought he had. I also enjoyed seeing him finally making other friends after only really feeling close to Demi for most of his life. Whilst the ‘lesson’ Theo had with Cohen should’ve been cringe worthy, it’s actually hot and you just know there’s gonna be some explosions when we get to see Cohen’s story in book 2! I’m excited for what’s to come from this author
This is the first book of Kimberly Reece’s I’ve read and it will most certainly not be the last!
I’m so glad I took a chance of this author. Her written is phenomenal, it was a breath of fresh air!
I absolutely love Theo! So. Damn. Hot! He was extremely shy but oh so delicious, you couldn’t help but fell deep for him!
And Addison was the total opposite, she was confident, bubbly and gorgeous.
And their relationship as it develops, it becomes strong throughout the storyline.
Unlikely match for each other but the author did so well bringing these two together. You couldn’t help but cheer for them!
This is definitely a 5 star for me!
A hot, caring nerd!! Yesss, I want too
Just in love with Theo. He was shy and quiet. On the first day as TA he met Addison, the outspoken, daring and beautiful girl. She asked him out and how can he say no!!
Also it was this cover which led me to this book. So sexy.
4.5 stars – Fun book that fed my inner nerd with its references. I loved Addison and Theo and how they had an instant physical connection that slowly grew to more as the got to know each other better. I appreciated the slow progression of their physical relationship, ensuring both parties were ready. I do wish I could have learned a little more about Addison’s background, but don’t think it detracted from the story, I’m just overly curious. Finally, I really liked the secondary characters Cohen, Demi, and Camryn and would love to see them all again, as well as meet the brother Cohen refers to. I will be reading more by this author.
Ever since I read about this authors books I’ve wanted to read them and I finally managed to get around to Nerdgasm and boy, I’m super fucking glad I did.
Theo and Addy are freaking brilliant characters and I’m loving them so hard right now.
Theo didn’t have it easy growing up, being bullied because of a stutter had him shying away and keeping himself to himself with his best friend being the only exception. He’s smart, nerdy and handsome with a gorgeous bod hidden underneath his clothes *swoons*
Addy is a get to the point kinda girl, she knows what she wants and goes for it. She’s loud, pretty and lovely. Seeing her interact with the shy PA is fun. She’s exactly what he needs.
Theo and Addy’s relationship is super freaking adorable. Inexperience and shyness makes a lot of awkward moments in this book but it’s just perfect.
Kimberly Reese did an amazing job with this nerd, this is my first book by this author and certainly won’t be my last. She had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down. When a book does that for you, you know it’s a good one.
