nerdgasm (noun): an emotional climax at the peak of intense (sometimes sexual) excitement, characterized by a deep attraction to nerdy things and/or people. My stutter makes it easy to become the center of attention for all the wrong reasons, so I try hard to stay out of the spotlight. But when Addison Mitchell breezes into the class I TA for, she turns my world upside down, shaking me out of my … me out of my comfort zone.
Confident and bold, her wandering hands set my body on fire.
She sees the real me, and she’s still interested.
I’m completely out of my element, yet I’ve never felt more alive.
Fingers crossed we’re not a one-off fling.
I have a lot to learn, but I’m willing to make this work.
I’m going to give her more than a nerdgasm.
I’m going to give her my heart.

“A nerdgasm! It’s like having an orgasm from his nerdiness, which is fitting since it sounds like he’s a nerdy wet dream.”
I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THIS BOOK!!! 10 Nerdgasm Stars!
Thank you, Kimberly Reese, for giving us these amazing characters.
I fell in love with every single one. From the shy Theo, the go-getter Addy, smart and protective best friend Demi, sexy, experienced “big brother” professor Cohen. All of them. They all played such an important role in this book.
Theo is a man with a sad past. And we get a look into that past the first couple of chapters in. It broke my heart seeing a little boy deal with these issues because he wasn’t “normal” like everybody else. (And really, who the hell wants to be normal anyway? I’d rather stick out and be unique than fit in with the crown.) Because of his stuttering problem, he was always a prime target in middle and high school for bullies. His way of dealing with that issue was to just ignore and more on.
As he gets older, he learns to work with his stutter so it only happens in moments of frustration, anxiety, or nerves.
Well, all that practice gets thrown out the window when a winded Addy rushes into the class that he TA’s for.
She immediately takes notice of him, but because he’s so inexperienced, he doesn’t know why this beautiful girl keeps staring at him.
And that’s how this beautiful story begins.
I loved that Addy was someone who accepted everything about Theo from the bat, even when he would get nervous and would stutter more than get a full sentence out.
It was so beautiful to see how this story takes a well experienced girl and pairs her with a shy, inexperienced boy. I loved that they took their time to get to know each other properly. Treated the relationship with so much care and affection. You get to see a shy Theo turn into a confident man.
But, there are some hilarious moments where you can fully see how much he really doesn’t know. I couldn’t stop laughing at his misunderstanding on what “Netflix and Chill” really mean.
And when he asks Cohen for some advice in reaching the next base with Addy… let me tell you that I will never look at an orange the same way again. And also, how freaking amazing and right that description was… AAAAAND lastly, why the hell weren’t there any professor Cohen’s while I was in school??
This book just had it all and more wrapped up beautifully in a novella.
I’m hoping that we can get a book involving Cohen and Demi, because I want to say I noticed something there, but I’m not sure. It sure would make for a steamy book though.
Having never read anything by this author before, the blurb and cover caught my eye and I’m so happy to have read it. This was a book so up my alley, what with certain things the characters do. I really loved them. Loved the storyline to bits that I had to read it in one sitting. The conversations they had were rather funny and kind of embarrassing I thought…but also endearing too.
I just loved Theo, his demeanor, his whole way about him just was fantastic, the way he also dotes on those around him is swoonworthy and I really cannot wait for more from this series.
An entertainingly beautiful story!
I’m a sucker for a nerd. Especially a hot nerd who doesn’t know how hot they are. And cherry on top? Dude still has his cherry. I’m in love right from the start! All the characters are really great and set a great foundation not only for the couple featured here in Nerdgasm, but also for the rest of the Naughty Nerds which I will definitely be reading.
Theo is a sweet boy that has a stutter. He’s a great man who has built his life on solid principles of behavior that make him honorable and admirable. When he’s almost knocked flat by the whirlwind that is Addy he gets the chance to learn and grow romantically as well. He brings a solid stability to their relationship that I adore. His character had an incredible amount of depth. And the way he sticks up for himself and his choices regarding bullying is fantastic! There’s room for improvement and with Addy’s fierceness in the back of his mind, he does just that.
Addy’s got a direct attitude that serves her well with Theo and she’s open-minded and enthusiastically honest. She comes off quite young, which is fitting for her age, and her immaturity sometimes concerns me in terms of longevity. There’s no sign whatsoever that she’s flighty or inconsistent however, so that concern becomes unfounded the farther we get into the story. Addison is a good character but she’s not nearly as deep or fully fleshed out as Theo. Her fierce attitude complements Theo’s mellow attitude about most things but she’s also a bit high-strung and it causes difficulties between them. Once she gets the full picture of Theo’s past she realizes just what she’s done and is willing to do whatever it takes to make amends.
The whole story is sweet, short, fits the ages of the characters, and read to that same demographic as well. There’s a solid cast with the professor, Demi, and even Brock the bully that keeps me invested in the rest of the Naughty Nerd stories. If you’re wondering why all this praise only merits 3.5 stars from me it’s because of the lack of depth. While the story is great, there’s just so much lightness and goodness that the conflict seems quite small in the scheme of things. The HEA is earned, but only because they were both willing to work things out. Overall it was just that the relationship felt, read, and stayed juvenile from start to finish. It was a great story with wonderful characters, just a bit floaty and sweet all the way through.
Nerdgasm by Kimberly Reese is a college romance. It is a novella in the Naughty Nerds Series. So, it is a quick little read. I completely enjoyed this book. It has a refreshing reversal of the normal. Theo is the inexperienced virgin. He is nerdy and has a lisp. Addison is the more experienced and the aggressor. They could not be more different. These two characters are dripping with chemistry. They are electric from the moment they crash into each other, literally. This was a fantastic little read. It will give you all the feels. I can’t wait to see where these two end up in the next books of this series.
5 NERDGASM STARS!! AMAZING STORY!! This story is perfection with fun, sweetness, sexiness and love. Theo is the sexiest nerd I know, so hot and all PERFECTION. Theo and Addy’s story is a page turning book that you can’t put down. Kimberly Reese is such an amazing storyteller with her fantastic descriptions and words.
Cute novella, that will leave you smiling at the end. You can’t help but like Theo, he is so sweet and shy . Addy is a complete opposite of Theo she is so full of energy . They are a cute couple that balance out each other’s quirks.
I loved everything about this book! It offers a well written storyline, likable characters and powerful emotions. Let me just say that Theo is entirely worthy of inspiring a nerdgasm. He is smart, geeky, hot, kind, a great friend, a good son and an all around great guy. Addison is smart, sassy, confident and spunky. Theo’s a bit shy and very inexperienced because of a stutter he has had since childhood. Addy has more experience and thinks his stutter is cute. These two make such a great couple. The romance that blossoms between them is sweet and steamy. From melt your heart moments, to need a cool drink scenes, to laugh out loud antics and the shed a few tears because it’s just so beautiful. This book will make you swoon, touch your heart and make you smile. An amazing five star read that I recommend to any romance fan. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. This is my completely voluntary, honest review.
Theo may be viewed as weak due to his lifelong stutter, but in fact, that makes him one of the strongest people you could ever meet. He’s survived the bullying. The insults. The unwanted attention. Doesn’t mean it stopped hurting though. When those who should be your friends due to common experiences treat you as an outcast, it makes you feel lonely. Thankfully, as he’s gotten older, his ability to control his stutter has improved, which has helped him gain confidence. But Addison (Addy) shakes that control.
Addy just wants to finish her last semester and begin her future. She’s confident. Bold. Knows what she wants, and what she doesn’t…which would be the boys her seem more interested in partying that studying, making something of themselves, and her. But Theo, she knows instantly that he’s different. Addy is immediately attracted to him and vice versa and takes the initiative to ask him for a date.
Despite his attraction to her, Theo is nervous. Wondering how someone like Addy could possibly want someone like him. Addy sees the true Theo though. She looks past his stutter, past his insecurities, and sees the good man he is. Theo may be a nerd, but Addy loves that about him. It’s shows that he’s confident in himself, even if he doesn’t realize that. He refuses to change who he is at his core, and that, to Addy, means everything.
As they begin spending time together, it doesn’t take long to see how perfect they are for one another, how they balance each other out, and soon their relationship becomes serious. But both still have some baggage they need to work through and must decide if they’re ready to risk their heart to the one person that could destroy it.
Will Addy help Theo to see the kind of man he truly is? Will Theo be able to show Addy how important she is to him? Will Theo be able to work through his insecurities and find peace with his reality? What happens next? Will the secondary characters that you start to fall for get their own HEAs?
One-click now and follow along as two people find the one person that was always meant to be theirs. I like how Theo and Addy’s personalities complemented one another. Where one faltered, the other stepped up. When one struggled with their own hangup, the other supported them and fought for them. Though this was only a novella, the story felt complete and I look forward to more from this series.- By Elizabeth
Someone asked recently what I prefer in a bbf. My easy answer was that Theo is the epitome of my perfect BBF! He’s smart – the perfect nerd, he’s incredibly caring and thoughtful – I’d fall for him from the consideration he gave dates alone, not even considering anything else, he’s sexy- a swimmers body? Yes please!
And Addy is made for him. She truly adores him for being himself. Even in the midst of conflict, she only has his best interest at heart. It comes it wrong, but her heart is pure.
And then throw in a best friend I’d want to be best friends with myself, and a sexy professor with really exact advice and genuine likability, it’s an all star crew for this gem of a story!

To sum up how I feel about Nergasm, I’ll say this…I really, REALLY want to go back and read this all over again already. I could live in a world of all Theo all the time. 24/7 Theoland. I want that. Someone more talented and organized than me should make that a thing and I’ll give them all my money. Theoland. Make it happen. In all seriousness this is by far one of the most adorable yet still hot books I’ve ever read. Nerdgasm is is exactly that, a total nerdgasm.
If I didn’t make it obvious enough already, I FREAKING LOVE THEO! I’ll take this moment to also call dibs. This exceptionally sweet, gentle, shy, brilliant nerd of a man is all wrapped up in one gorgeous package with no clue how delicious he really is. It’s not even possible to resist falling in love with him. Addy, genius woman that she is, immediately sees the beauty that is Theo. It was surprisingly nice to have the tables turned from the typical alpha men I’m used to to see the woman be the one to pursue the shy man.
Their story starts off sweet and just get sweeter as it goes along. Cuter than baby groot and still throwing off some serious heat I loved every page of this book!
I absolutely loved Theo and Addison.
Theo begins as a young boy with challenges. He lives life with a stutter and even though he is funny sweet smart and oh so cute it causes such heartache for him. As he matures he learns his triggers and now in college he is able to somewhat control it . He has developed into quite a handsome young man and he has spent years swimming as a release . He is now tall, smart, and has the body of an athlete after all those hours in the pool. He takes on a job as an assistant for one of his professors and lets say this leads to him finally finding his own and coming out of his shell.
Addison is a college student and has landed in a very well know professors class. The girls love this class not for the curriculum but the eye candy that the handsome professor provides but Addison finds herself enthralled by the new assistant Theo. Their is an instant attraction and we are off an running with Theo and Addison .
This is such a sweet, funny, sexy slow burn for these two characters. They face so many challenges along the way but that is the beauty of this journey! I loved their witty banter ! It is wonderful watching the progression of their relationship. Loved it !!

Nerdgasm was a really sweet story. I loved Theo and Addy. They had amazing chemistry and hot hot sexy scenes! They were so cute and perfect for each other! I loved Theo alot! He was swoony and sweet! This was a great read!
How much did I love Theo?!? As a general rule, I’m not big on Novellas. I’ll read them from new to me authors to see if I like their writing style, or if its one from a previously established, well liked character’s universe, but typically I like to get more in depth than I feel is possible within the confines of most novellas. This author has me rethinking that stance. I feel like we really got to know ALOT about Theo, his poignant background, and how he became the YUMMY man he is today. Really I loved it, felt like I knew Theo, it had everything I look for in a book, the laughs the heat, the banter, all of it. Could it have been longer? Absolutely but I don’t think the story or characters were diminished in any way. I look forward to more from this author and hopefully more from these characters maybe appearing in other future books!
I can’t believe this is my first read from this author!!
Nerdgasm is one of the sweetest, funniest & most endearing books I have read in a long time. It’s got an adorable nerdy hero Theo who is EVERYTHING you want in a book boyfriend. Addy is his perfect balance and their slowburn romance is not your average NA read but it’s absolutely PERFECT!!
While being sweet, funny and seriously hot it also touches on some subjects that are close to my heart and the author handles them beautifully. Gah! I am seriously fangirling this book hard
Oh & there’s also a scene with an orange & a HAF Professor that made me way more turned on than citrus fruit should. Wowsa!!! Praying this particular Professor gets his own story soon.
I absolutely LOVED this novella! Nerds, when done right are my JAM!!!
Theo was bullied throughout life due to his stutter. Students at school were cruel but he learned how to deal with his tormentors in his own way. My heart hurt so much for him! There is nothing worse than feeling isolated and singled out and children can sometimes be the cruelest.

As an adult he has gained a certain amount of confidence largely due to his ability to control a good portion of his stutter. But when he’s confronted with Addy he loses that control. She’s so beautiful and she wants to date him! As a virgin with very little dating experience, his excitement and happiness over this development is overshadowed with fear. Thank you best friend Demi for being there for him!
Addy is just trying to finish up her last semester at Cornell so she can get on with her life. She’s done the dating thing and the boys she’s ended up with were more interested in frat parties than her. However, when she lays eyes on Theo she is immediately drawn to him. His nerdy goodness just attracts her more and being the modern day woman she is, she asks him out on a date.

I loved these characters so much! Theo was the perfect geeky hero with his love of comics, his glasses and his sweet stutter. Addy was outgoing and secure in who she was and the perfect complement to him. I loved the way her acceptance of all things Theo helped him to grow even more in confidence.
Together, Addy and Theo just worked. He needed a woman who wasn’t afraid to take the initiative and she needed someone who saw her and enjoyed being with her. Their relationship evolved in a very organic and really sweet way. Their dates were unusual and perfect for them as individuals and as a couple. I enjoyed watching them grow closer, learning about each other while respecting one another along the way. I loved the feeling of “courtship” their early relationship carried with it.

I can be extremely critical of novellas because most can’t carry the full range of emotions making everything feel rushed. However, Nerdgasm had the perfect pace and character development that a full length book would have and I loved every moment of it. It was full of so much goodness mixed with humor and some intense steam. The secondary characters were amazing! I absolutely MUST have their story immediately! Other than a tiny bit of conflict at the end and the initial bullying in the beginning, I would consider this a low angst read.
Overall, this book was absolutely wonderful!!! It’s the perfect lighthearted feel good read. I highly recommend it!
This was a sexy nerd novella! Theo and Addy were a pair made for each other. Theo has been considered a nerd and geek for most of his life due to his thick glasses and stutter. But now that he’s all grown, he’s also outgrown a lot of that awkwardness, or just enough to be one hot commodity. When a chance encounter bring Theo and Addy crashing into each other, then she finds him in the front of her class as the instructors TA, everything falls in to place for them. But Theo is an untouched man and Addy needs to show him the ropes while he fights to maintain his purity until he feels their relationship is where it should be to take it to the next level. Lots of angst and touching ensue, bringing a nerdgasm to life. A little Revenge of the Nerds meets Weird Science! And just saying, the cover is explained in more detail in the book. I’m sure chomping at the bit to find out a bit more about Demi and Dr. Wilder!
This is my first book by this author and what a wonderfully well written book this is. I enjoyed every aspect of this book and the relationship was built from being friends turned lovers and the chemistry between Theo and Addy. Just seeing how protective Demi was of Theo was amazing. I cannot wait to discover more books by Kimberly Reese.
What an adorably, sweet first read for me from this author! I don’t know how I haven’t read any of her work before, but that is definitely changing soon!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was a great paced, easy read with excellent writing. At times I actually felt like I was watching a movie rather than reading a book because of the excellent descriptions. There was humor balanced well with steam and seriousness, which is the best recipe there can be.
The author tackled a topic that has just started being discussed more openly in today’s society and it was done BEAUTIFULLY.
This definitely will not be my last read from this author! I NEED MORE!
I definitely, highly, recommend this book!!!!
