Mixing business with pleasure has never been more complicated.Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Scott’s story …Single Dad of Seattle, Scott Dixon wasn’t looking for love when he tagged … wasn’t looking for love when he tagged along to a bachelor party one night. And he certainly wasn’t looking for a one-night-stand with an intriguing redhead with moss-green eyes and a killer smile. But that’s exactly what he got. Only, when she vanishes the next morning without a trace, Scott’s heart is broken and his ego a little bruised. What’s a guy to do?
Recently divorced, single mom, Eva Marchand just needs to start over. Her ex-husband was a monster who ruled her life with a fist of fury making her fear for her life and her sons’. She’s moving on, and moving into a new neighborhood. She never expected the new neighbor who came to say hello to be her incredible, unforgettable one-night-stand from last month though. Not that she’s complaining.
Things between Eva and Scott immediately begin to heat up again–and as a bonus, their kids get along great. The two are determined to look at their new proximity as divine intervention from the fates–that is until Scott’s new VIP client at work turns out to be none other than Eva’s evil ex, and he is hell-bent on making things difficult for everyone.
Can Scott and Eva find a way to stay together without Scott losing his job or Eva and her sons falling into danger, or will Eva being Neighbors with the Single Dad be an intervention they both wish the fates had stayed out of?**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

Another book from the Single Dads of Seattle series, which tells the stories of ten dedicated single fathers. This story is about Scott and Eva, who meet and have an instant attraction. Eva is a little skittish because of her ex, so there are some detours on their road to happily ever after. An enjoyable read by author Whitley Cox.

Amazing! I’ve volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. This is my first time reading one of Whitney Cox books. This is actually the eighth book in the The Single Dads series. This is Eva and Scott’s story. Both are single parents. But Eva has 2 little boys, while Scott has 1 little boy. Scott was married to someone that treated like he nobody. While Eva had it alittle worst, Her ex-husband was very emotionally and verbally abusive to her. They met one night while they was out with some friends. Then went to Eva hotel and kicked off their night out together. Then out of the blue a few months later they met again, but as neighbors. Can Scott make Eva see that she is deserving of a life she’s always wanted? Or will she let her past and fears hold her back from what she wants? I can’t wait to read more from this series. I will definitely going back and reading from the beginning. Keep up the amazing work!
Wow I had such a great time reading this book. These characters are engaging and a fun couple their chemistry is undeniable from the start however getting to their HEA was twisty but fun. The flow of the storyline was awesome.

I think if she had known he would be her neighbor ahead of time, she would have jumped sooner. She was already attracted to him upon sight. Just as he was. They were just really lucky to have met each other.

What a heartwarming new book in the Single Dads of Seattle series from Whitley Cox. Eva is a recently divorced single mom with a crazy and abusive ex husband who just wants a new start for her and her boys. Scott is a single dad with no intention of starting a new relationship with anyone until he meets Eva at bachelor party. Sparks fly between Eva and Scott but will they both be able to explore the emotions and feelings they are having for one another or will Eva’s ex ruin their happiness? Neighbors with the Single Dad is a captivating must read about self discovery, starting over, overcoming fear, strong friendships, witty banter, a protective alpha male, a woman learning she is stronger than she thinks, passion, and love. Readers will fall in love with these characters and will catch up with other characters from the series. I loved this book and can’t wait for the release of Atlas’ story.

A fantastic, interesting, well developed, passionate, emotionally deep, steamy, and engaging book eight in the Single Dads of Seattle series! There is action, drama, suspense, humour, steam, intrigue, and much more to look forward to in this book. The characters are unique and you will enjoy getting to know them; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

This is the 1st book I’ve read written by Whitley Cox; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Scott and Eva meet in a bar where they are attending separate parties that neither wants to be at. After Scott helps her get into a bathroom they get a drink and talk. Soon they both know that they’ll be spending the night together. However when Scott wakes up the next day she’s gone. Eva has had bad luck with men so she didn’t want there to be any awkward the next morning so she left. When Scott goes over to greet his new neighbors he is pleasantly surprised to find Eva and her boys moving in. Can Scott show her that they are perfect together? Will they deal with her bad ex together?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I enjoyed this new “Single Dads of Seattle” story! Great characters and wonderful story-line! The plot and characters really sucks you in. Eva and Scott are so perfect for each other. I think fate and a little bit magic are in the works. This story is fun with some sweetness, drama and sexiness. A nicely weaved story from beginning to end.
This is the first book in this series that I have read and it definitely wont be the last. I loved this book, the plot and the characters. It was engaging and it kept me reading to the point I couldnt put it down and before I knew it I was at the end of the book. It was easy reading and I loved watching their story develop but it wasn’t all plain sailing. There are a few bumps in the road that threaten the relationship. You get to see the other single dads and even though I hadn’t read the other books it was easy to keep up. I now need to read the others as I need to read their story’s and if they are as good as this one then I’m in for some good reading.
I am so in love with the Single Dads of Seattle series. Whitley Cox brings a genre to life that you want to read but isn’t always so easy to love to read. In this book, we get two characters that have been badly mistreated in past relationships and don’t really need or want new ones. They are focused on taking care of their children and are trying to heal.
But when Scott and Ava are neighbors the chemistry might just be too much for either of them to handle. And the friendship, connection, and children togetherness might just be what they both need to heal the most.
Another great story by Whitley Cox!
Great Scott! 4 ½ stars – Eva’s backstory will break your heart. Readers can feel her character’s anguish and her willingness to overcome her fears. Scott is so wonderful and perfect which is how I know I’m reading fiction, lol. Very good story with a bit of suspense and a lot of steam. In this time of Coronavirus, a much needed feel good story. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
From lust to love to restraining orders, lost jobs, stupid bosses, prostitution, illegal dogfighting, drug trafficking, one night srands, lots of childen, most neighbors and a whole lot more. This book has it all and you will not be disappointed.

This is a well written beautiful second chance at love story about two people who are perfect for each other. I loved the way the author brought them together and how there was a spark between them from the start. This book has it all humor, drama, angst, steam and a great HEA. Scott, Eva and the boys are the perfect family.
Can’t get enough of this series! This book focuses on Scott, also known as Liam’s brother, and how he finds love after divorce. Scott and Eva meet at a club where they aren’t enjoying themselves and decide to spend time together. That time turns into a one-night stand when Eva leaves without leaving her number the next morning. Fate intervenes, and weeks later when Eva moves into her new house, she finds out her next door neighbor is non other than Scott, and they decide to not deny their feelings. With a few twists along the way, this book actually might be my favorite because of the suspense from Eva’s ex-husband that makes the book what it is. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what he would do or when he would do it, and the climactic ending was so worth it! I seriously can’t get enough of this series and I really love this author and her writing!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Love every book in this series! Scott and Eva are kindred spirits the night they met at the bar, neither wanted to be there. One night of passion and it’s goodbye. Or is it? Well when Scott’s new neighbors move in it is none other than Eva and her boys. Scott is a dream man, one you want to keep but Eva is scarred from the emotional abuse from her ex. This is a fantastic romantic story! If I could rate a series I’d give this ten stars?

So damn good!!
Eva and Scott have one night of passion but they have no way to contact each after
Fate brings them together and their chemistry is hotter than ever, their kids get along and and life seems good. Only Eva’s ex is not happy and is determined to ruin their chance at happiness. Danger, conflict, heat and chemistry!!!
I love this series and hope it goes on for quite a while longer!!!
When I started to read this book, it was a rainy day and I was curled up on my sofa by the fireplace… It was the perfect day. Then when I started to read this book it improved tremendously.
Mainly because I love this author and her previous books were to die for.
Whitley Cox is not only a sweetheart but also a brilliant author. She knows what her readers want to read and simply provide. She’s that awesome.
Her writing is sweet and wild, hot and intense with so many emotions into the mix. If you have been following her you know that what I’m saying is the truth.
Neighbors with the Single Dad is her latest release and it’s the eight-book from The Single Dads of Seattle.
As you know, these series revolve around a single dad club. All dads are single with a child and will get together to vent and play cards. They created this club to mingle. That being said, I advise you to start reading this series from the start… You’ll love it.
This new book explores the lives of Scott and Eva.
Scott’s main goal is to raise his son the best he can. He has his brother for support as well as his single dad club. When Scott went to his friend’s bachelor party he didn’t know what he would find until a redhead bombshell…
Eva finally got her divorce settled and was free to raise her kids without that douche of a husband. She needed a night out and was caught up in a bachelorette party but it wasn’t her thing. She isn’t into those things and drunk girls were a pain. When she was “saved” by a hunk of a man…
Oh my my my… This book… This book made me shake…
Sublime plot, very well written, super engaging and intense. It was one emotional ride.
Each chapter had the ability to hook me up and I couldn’t stop reading.
It was one chapter after the other and I didn’t realize that I’ve read it super quickly.
It was amazing to see the interaction between the two main characters. It was breathtaking to witness their struggles.
I really adored everything and the kids melted my heart.
I wanted to keep reading. I wanted to see more and more…
There were parts of the book that I really wanted to murder someone… But then there were others that made me want to be right there with them, holding them and promising better days.
And… Dayum… Some hot stuff into the mix as well. Oh boy… Hot hot hot.
Whitley, you my dear, nailed it. This story stole my heart and it was so worth it. You explored another peculiar theme, domestic violence so perfectly, that you almost put me into tears.
I loved the fact that we keep getting glimpses of the other characters. It’s amazing.
I can’t wait for the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the eighth book in the Single Dads of Seattle series and it is Scott’s story. Ms. Cox has once again delivered another absorbing read that will have readers swooning hard. Scott has not had an easy time when it comes to marriage as he chose a self-absorbed, egotistical woman. However, any bad situation has a silver lining and for Scott it is his son. Along with his son, he has a new job, friends and family that he can count on. While attending a bachelor party for a friend, Scott runs into Eva and he is gobsmacked. Eva has had her challenges in the marriage arena as well and decides to break out of her shell with a one-night stand. After an amazing night, Scott wakes up alone and realizes that he is not going to see Eva again. Fate can be a funny thing because when two people are meant to be, it finds a way to put them together. In this case, Eva winds up as Scott’s new neighbor. As the two reconnect, life has a way of throwing more obstacles in their path. Are Scott and Eva strong enough to withstand the onslaught? This is one storyline that is filled with a little bit of everything from drama to heat to angst, and finding the courage to stand up. It is one book, that can be read as a standalone, to one click and add to your library. I am also counting down until the next book. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
