Mixing business with pleasure has never been more complicated.Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Scott’s story …Single Dad of Seattle, Scott Dixon wasn’t looking for love when he tagged … wasn’t looking for love when he tagged along to a bachelor party one night. And he certainly wasn’t looking for a one-night-stand with an intriguing redhead with moss-green eyes and a killer smile. But that’s exactly what he got. Only, when she vanishes the next morning without a trace, Scott’s heart is broken and his ego a little bruised. What’s a guy to do?
Recently divorced, single mom, Eva Marchand just needs to start over. Her ex-husband was a monster who ruled her life with a fist of fury making her fear for her life and her sons’. She’s moving on, and moving into a new neighborhood. She never expected the new neighbor who came to say hello to be her incredible, unforgettable one-night-stand from last month though. Not that she’s complaining.
Things between Eva and Scott immediately begin to heat up again–and as a bonus, their kids get along great. The two are determined to look at their new proximity as divine intervention from the fates–that is until Scott’s new VIP client at work turns out to be none other than Eva’s evil ex, and he is hell-bent on making things difficult for everyone.
Can Scott and Eva find a way to stay together without Scott losing his job or Eva and her sons falling into danger, or will Eva being Neighbors with the Single Dad be an intervention they both wish the fates had stayed out of?**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

I absolutely loved this story. The build up to the ending was fabulous. One thing I love most about this author is her stories never seem forced. They are natural in ever sense of the way.
Once again, the single dads club is a win! If you love single dad stories, big teddy bears, and HEA, you will love this book! Warning, once you start reading, you won’t stop until it’s done!
Eva’s one night stand happens to be Scott (Liam’s brother) & a twist of fate brings them together as neighbours. Their attraction was instant but with Scott it was more so, perhaps to a point of obsession at times (but in a good way).
However having gone through a bitter divorce, that took a lot out of her, she is more hesitant to commit. The ex comes back to haunt her in many ways & it has an impact on Scotts career.
It was quite a touching tale with some hotness! Nice to catch up with some of other dads & families too.

5 star review Neighbors With The Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #8) by Whitley Cox
Every time I read a new book in this series, I find myself with a new favourite. I have fallen hard and fast for each single dad and Scott Dixon is no exception. They love their families and the friends who have become like brothers as they meet each Saturday for their poker night.
Watching his friends fall in love, Scott wonders if he too will get another chance at happiness. When a one night hook up with Eva, leaves Scott wanting more, he is frustrated to wake to an empty room.
Fate moves in mysterious ways and Scott is shocked to find that his new neighbor is single mum, Eva Marchand, his recent one night stand.
The chemistry between Scott and Eva is intense but oh so hot and steamy. Their children get on well and they both decide to see how the relationship develops.
Badly burnt by her ex husband’s lies and betrayal Eva is wary of opening herself up to love again. Is Scott the man who can break through the walls she has built and get her to take a chance on love or is Eva destined to be alone forever?
One of the things I love with this series is that we often see other members of the club pop up throughout the story; the camaraderie and friendships amongst the men and the women they fall in love with is something that I love to catch up on.
There were times when I laughed and times where I wanted to cry but I was riveted from the first to the last chapter. Scott is totally swoon worthy and I love how he treated Eva and her boys.
I was on the edge of my seat as Ms. Cox took us on a journey that had my heart in my mouth at times, hoping that good would triumph over evil.
Book 8 in the Single Dads of Seattle is the long awaited story of Scott who meets a beautiful lady in a bar & it turns into a night he cannot forget. Eva meets Scott and falls for him and gives herself the one night of passion she deserves with Scott something she has never done before, and the chemistry is beyond off the charts between the two of them. Both Scott & Eva come from bad relationships and have custody of their children but their one chance meeting turns into far more when Eva moves in next door six weeks later and the fireworks begin! This storyline between the two of them is wonderful, sexy. They go through some serious turmoil, strife, danger, but in the end it makes you believe in HEA & their kids are just added enjoyment in the story. I have looked forward to Scott’s story and this did not disappoint. I could not put this one down until I finished it!
This was another great addition to the series and is Scott and Eva’s book these two meet have lots of chemistry and spend the night together not expecting to see each other again imagine their shock when she moves next door to him. This was a really enjoyable read I liked these two and thought they had good chemistry. I think this series just keeps getting better and better.
Eva and Scott meet and have a one night stand. They didn’t think that they were ever going to see each other again. Then Eva moves next door. good read and romance.

4*
Scott meets Eva as they are both on batchelor/hen parties, which neither want to return to. Eva desperately needs a night to herself outside her comfort zone and Scott ticks all the boxes.
Scott is surprised to discover he has a new neighbour his life is about to get interesting.
Eva’s past wasn’t a happy place for her the boys Kellan & Lucas.
Scott can feel the pull between them, but needs to go a her pace.
I loved Scott and his son Freddie in all the books and can honestly say his and Eva’s story definitely didn’t disappoint. I liked that Eva found her confidence again and began to shine
First off, Scott will make you swoon hard core. He was always a mystery to me when I read the other books in this series and I loved getting to learn more about him. He is so sweet, caring, and funny. I loved the instant chemistry of Eva and Scott and reading their relationship develop throughout this book. They give you all the feels as a couple. Eva has a lot of demons she’s fighting from her previous marriage and Scott has his own but together they worked through them and got their happily ever after. Everytime I read one of these books I think there’s no way to top that single dad, but here we are Scott is in my #1 position of this single dad’s club! Another great addition to the series!
What starts out as two strangers colliding in a bar turns into so much more when they spend the might together with wine, pizza and hot chemistry. But what Scott thinks is just a one night stand ends up being a connection with the hot single mother who moves in next door. But can the relationship last when baggage from Ava’s past comes back to haunt her? Can Scott open his life and his heart to someone other than his young son? Can you truly find happiness the second time around? With characters you instantly fall in love with and exes you cannot help but hate this was an amazing book. It is not all hearts and flowers but honest and emotional feelings wrapped around beautifully written characters. A fabulous addition to a great series.
