Evan Bishop is your typical hotshot doctor. Hardass, brooding, and all business. Instead of working on the family ranch, Evan broke the mold and became an ER doctor. He’s good with his hands—in more ways than one—smart as a whip and is the definition of God’s gift to women. Being a gentleman is in his Southern roots, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t flawed. Exclusive dating has never been a top … never been a top priority and his tragic past makes him stay at arm’s length. Deciding to let loose for a wild night, he takes a page from the Bishop brother’s relationship book and hooks up with a mysterious girl he’ll never have to see again, which is perfect for this self-proclaimed bachelor.
Emily Bell is a city girl through and through but is determined to get away from her family and past. All she wants is a fresh start and to make a name for herself in the medical field. No random hookups and no dating coworkers—that’s her new motto after being burned time and again. When she agrees to attend a wedding as a plus-one, she’s soon ditched and left to drink solo—but not for long. Mr. Suit is the ultimate temptation with his Southern charm, messy blond hair, and irresistible sex appeal. Everything about him screams bad news, but he makes her reconsider her rules just for one night.
After all, some rules are made to be broken.
They want the same thing—one night of passion then they’ll go their separate ways. No cuddling afterward. No next day phone calls. No awkward goodbyes. Too bad the universe has other plans—one that’ll be obvious when they report to work on Monday morning.
*A contemporary romance with a little Southern drama. This is book 2 in the Bishop Brothers series. Each book features a different brother and can be read as a complete standalone. HEA guaranteed!*

Swooning Over Evan Bishop…
This story had everything I love in a book (suspense, humor, romance, Lots of Hotness!!!) Needing Him has a sexy Hero Doctor that is absolutely swoon-worthy and a beautiful intelligent heroine that stands up for what she believes in. The chemistry between Dr. Evan Bishop and Dr. Emily Bell is off the charts. This book also brings on some suspense that has you wondering what will be the end game? Throw in some hot sexy southern Bishops to the mix and you got one amazing story that you just can’t put down. All in all, Evan and Emily are absolute perfection!!
Needing Him, book #2 in the Bishop Brothers series, is going to be hard to top! Emily and Evan were everything!
Emily and Evan met at a family wedding where she gave Evan a fake name when they decided to get down and dirty 😉 The following morning, she mistakes Evan for someone else and pulls a fast one as she slips out unnoticed by Evan.
Emily had no regrets until she finds out who her new boss is…
I truly enjoyed the banter between Evan and Emily. They both could give as good as they could get and the chemistry was off the charts HOT! Both characters were charming, yet sassy and I thought they were the perfect match. I loved that they were both doctors and could put their budding relationship aside and work together without too much drama.
I also enjoyed the unexpected turn of events with both Emily’s past and the explanation into Evan’s past.
Truly, Needing Him was a great read and so far, Emily and Evan are my favorite couple!
“Dr. Evan Bishop, ladies…you ready for this one?”
A little Grey’s Anatomy meets suspense and romance like you’ve never encountered! The Bishop family is back in Needing Him by Kennedy Fox. The broody, possessive, workaholic Doctor Evan Bishop finally is shown what it’s like to go toe to toe with a feisty little female.
“Wait, did you just dare me?”
Needing Him will grab you with the push and pull magnitude and the combustible lust that flows between Evan and Emily. I really enjoyed the chemistry between them. Perfect, however, multiple times I wanted to hate Evan for how he treated Emily. He was a total douche, a$$, you name it, but once he found out the truth behind her antics his walls lowered, showing his caring, alpha-sexy side.
Two doctors, one rural town and a family that knows a thing or two about drama… what could go wrong?!
Dr. Emily Bell was a hoot and half. She had me cracking up multiple times with her antics, especially against her ex-boyfriend. Moving to a new town, especially from a big city to a country town threw Emily for a loop until a splendous one night stand leads to drama and issues for herself personally and professionally.
Dr. Evan Bishop doesn’t do relationships or fun. He is dedicated to his patients and what little time he has, he spends it with his family on the ranch. Waking up after a night of passion leaves him furious, until his so called woman shows up at the hospital, expected to work with him. Let the good times roll… they say.
“Goddamn, this woman just might be my undoing.”
You will fly through this book in a matter of hours with a swooning feeling in the end. Captivating writing that flowed freely between chapters and a storyline that was built with entertaining, palpable passion. I am interested to see what Bishop brother is next in the series as all his brothers are beyond sexy and riveting!

4.5 star Review Needing Him (Bishop Brothers #2) by Kennedy Fox
Kennedy Fox is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is. I really enjoyed Needing Him and although book 2 in the series I had no issues in reading. Although I will be off to get book one as soon as I finish this review.
Evan Bishop went against the grain and decided to become a doctor, instead of working on the family ranch,. He has certainly played the field and being in an exclusive relationship has never been a priority.
When the opportunity for a wild night of fun and passion with a woman he will never see again drops into his lap he decides go for it. Imagine his shock when the woman in question, Dr Emily Bell, turns out to be his newest co-worker. Emily is beyond horrified, as the last thing she wanted was her new job to be complicated from the start.
The chemistry between Evan and Emily is so scorching that you can almost feel the flames, even while their antagonism towards each other fuels the flames until something has to give.
Emily is one feisty, smart woman determined to give as good as she gets; I really liked her. When Emily’s past comes back to haunt her and she is put in danger, Evan goes all protective and I loved that about him. In fact there really is nothing I didn’t love about Evan in the end.
The banter and camaraderie between Evan and his family was hilarious at times and led to several laugh out loud moments. Although Evan does appear initially to be a tad obnoxious, underneath it all is the heart of a man who cares deeply for his patients and his family, a who is a true romantic. Who would have thought it?
The secondary characters were as entertaining as the main and I am anxious to read their stories.
