Adam and Lily took a long time to figure out how to go from no-strings to being in each other’s lives forever. These two have more of a NA vibe than I was expecting

ARC REVIEW
does Adam turn in his player card?
A great read! I loved it from cover to cover!
Adam and Lily have been living their non strings attached relationship at the beginning of the story when certain things lead to lifelong consequences. Lily wants the love her parents have. Adam has secrets and vulnerabilities he hides that make this difficult for him.
Over the course of the story, Adam unveils his secrets to Lily, they face the challenges his career choices, and they learn to meet more that each others’ physical needs.
The chemistry between these two is smoking hot- they cannot get enough of each other. I love when they support each other during their story. I also love it when they stand up for what they need in certain moments. There are cultural influences to how they react to their surprise and how their families greet their relationship that I really enjoyed. I loved the support they each had from their friend group. The setting is fantastic and the pacing of the story was very good. Like book one of the series each chapter leads off with a quote and music plays an integral part throughout the story. This book is written in third person from a dual POV.
I absolutely love the story between Lily and Adam. Adam’s past is heartbreaking and with the love from Lily he is able to heal completely. A very swoon worthy read.
Awesome read! Loved it! I would recommend it to friends.
Great series. Love all of the couples introduced in the first book. It’s not a unique story, but the characters tend to make you forget that fact. A great read even with the minute grammatical errors throughout.
This book went in a direction I never expected and loved. Lilly and Adam were introduced in the first book of this series but it’s not necessary to read that in order to follow their story. Need You Now picks up a year later and Lilly and Adam have been exclusive to each other but it’s a no strings-sex-only relationship. I don’t want to spoiler anything, but this story moves pretty quickly at first and then within one moment the whole thing turned and I realized that there was more to Adam than I had initially thought.
As they each wade through their issues both together and individually, I found myself completely taken with both of them. I loved Lilly’s strength even when she was weak from the force of her desire for Adam. I love when a hero feels that way about his woman, and Adam does, but this book made me realize that I need my heroine to feel that way as well.
I shouldn’t have loved Adam as much as I did, but he was so compelling and I desperately wanted to be there when he finally had his aha moment. I really enjoyed this couple’s journey from no strings to all the strings as well as the characters that make up their friends and family. There was some gentle humor along the way and I’m excited about the possibility of reading more about Lilly’s brothers.
Overall, this was an extremely enjoyable read that surprised me with the depth that it took, the drama that arose, and the sheer emotion both of these characters felt.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
