Excellent read, best of the summer. The best surprise ending
Very good book.. story line draws you in quickly.. page turner
Good read, clean as well.
Well written page turner
This is a story that haunts you long after you finish reading it. It poses the question—can we really know and trust anyone including ourselves?
The tension is so high I held my breath a lot and had to put the book down and let my heartbeat get back to normal. The woman works for the CIA trying to find Russian spies and discovers her husband’s name. What to do??
The book was excellent…. I looked forward to reading it each evening
Thought it was particularly worth reading at a time when we know Russia is so active in trying to destroy Western Democracy, and by an author whose past profession allows her to set a plausible scenario.
It was a great book couldn’t put it down only problem was the ending cliffhanger. She needs to write a sequel!!
Grrrrrrrrrrrat
Fantastic story, long review short, started in afternoon finished at 4:20AM.
Could not put it down. Best book I’ve read in awhile. Ending blew me away.
Loved this book! Buy immediately & enjoy
I have recommended to my friends as I found it so moving. Could not but down & now that I have finished cannot forget.
For the suspense genre, this was good.
Action packed-page-turner with twists and turns. Believable characters. Entertaining.
Hated the writing style. Too much “I did this… I did that…”. Was forcing myself to read it thinking it had to get better. It didn’t.
Well written with good characters. Fast paced. A
I thought the writing style was weak. Hemingway can pull off short, choppy sentences. Miss Cleveland is no Hemingway. The plot was hardly plausible. I have nothing good to say about this book.
If you enjoyed reading The Firm, or watching the movie, No Way Out, then this book is for you! Couldn’t put it down! Absolute page turner. Can’t wait for Ms. Cleveland’s next book to come out.
After reading did I realize what going on in the nation and our enemies.
A CIA-Russia novel based on an unique set of circumstances with a constant tension between trust and deception.
