This was a real page turner and quite timely with Russia in our daily news and consciousness.. . I couldn’t put it down, was gobsmacked by the ending and read it again a couple of weeks later because it stayed with me.
A bit contrived with some surprises and a few anticipated.
Not much.
I could not put it down. It grabbed e in the first chapter. An unpredictable ending.
I wasn’t sure about this one but it had such good reviews I thought I’d give it a try. So glad I did, one of the best books I’ve read in a long time! Stayed up until 2am the first night and couldn’t wait to get back to it the next night. Highly recommend!
Loved this book! If you love a good thriller with a twist at the end, you will absolutely devour and love reading this!
She Continually let herself be manipulated which did get rather tedious because she was an FBI profiler. But it was an interesting story and over all a good read.
Got no work done the day I read this–I couldn’t stop til the end!
Best spy novel I have read in a long time. Torn between wanting to read it all in one sitting and not wanting it to be over.
You won’t be putting this one down often! It yanks you back and forth. No spoilers, but I kept thinking about this one for days after I finished it. Definitely worth your time!
NEED TO KNOW carves out a uniquely compelling space among thrillers: high-stakes international intrigue combined with high-drama domestic suspense. These richly overlapping layers of tension create a fast-paced, relentlessly gripping read.
Page turner from page 1. You may think you have it figured out and then – think again. And it’s scary because it is highly plausible. Definitely thought provoking.
What a great book to the very last page! Recommended by a librarian. Will not disappoint.
This book has a lot of plot twists and its well written
Gun shot to head, hospital time drags on forever is like watching grass grow. Couldn’t finish book.
Loved it. Played to the psychology of the events.
Though this book keeps pulling you in, at the same time I found the story to be unoriginal & a time-worn format. However, I would still recommend as it is a good read. This book is being made into a future film – another reason to read this story.
Suspenseful novel with cliffhanger chapter endings. The final twist is beautifully done, understated, packing a huge punch with just a few key sentences. Do not cheat and flip to the end! Just read the book all the way through. I loved this one!
This book should be a movie! It’s that good!! And what an ending!!!
Modern day espionage. It makes you think about what you don’t know!
