My life is over.I swore I would never work at the whiskey distillery with my last name on it, that I would never be a part of my father’s legacy. But when I graduated with my art degree and realized there were no jobs, the devil appeared, and I sold my soul, agreeing to work in the family business if he’d give me the art studio I’d always dreamed of.It can’t be that bad, I thought. Until I … I thought.
Until I realized my new boss was Logan Becker.
The Becker brothers have a reputation for being trouble, and since I love trouble, it’s no surprise to me that I’m infatuated by that forbidden fruit the first day I walk into the distillery. That lean, whiskey-eyed, too-hot-for-his-own-good man hates me — and I can’t blame him. His family has been at war with mine for decades, and for good reason.
The Beckers and the Scooters are the Montagues and Capulets of Stratford, Tennessee.
But if he’s Romeo, and I’m Juliet? Well… we all know how that story ends — and for that reason, I tell myself to steer clear.
Because if my father finds out I’m falling for Logan Becker, my life actually will be over.
And Logan’s will be, too.

Logan Becker and Mallory Scooter are dating!? The Becker brothers are back. In this newest addition we find two star crossed lovers. Who try as they might can’t fight what’s between them. I loved how Kandi unraveled the layers of these characters. She even hinted at a possible family scandal. Hopefully, more will be revealed later. Absolutely, loved this story.
Logan has been working for the distillery for as long as he can remember. He’s trying to keep his father’s legacy alive! Then in walks Mallory to start working with him. He’s had a crush on her for years but will he do anything about it?
Neat by Kandi Steiner is now available and in Kindle Unlimited! This small town, country romance is perfect to get you into all those cozy fall and holiday vibes you’re craving. Plus, it’s got a forbidden element — a “new age Romeo and Juliet!”
Logan Becker is the lead tour guide at Scooter Whiskey. He’s worked hard for this job, and he takes it seriously. Mallory Scooter has done her best to avoid working at Scooter Whiskey, she never wanted to be a part of her the business her family started. However her hands are tied, and she makes a deal with the devil, her father. She didn’t think it would be that bad, until she walks in for her first day and discovers that Logan Becker is her new boss. To say that the Becker and Scooter families don’t like each other is an understatement, but there is something about Logan Becker that she can’t ignore. As Mallory and Logan spend more time together, they both realize there is more to the other than meets the eye. Logan and Mallory are quickly falling for each other, but are the ready for the consequences of that?
I absolutely loved Logan and Mallory. Mallory is full of fire and sass and I love that in a heroine! As for Logan, that sweet Becker boy, he is so much more complex and a little nerdy and is was just the sweetest! These two make one fierce coupling, and I couldn’t put this book down! This book is so beautifully written, and full of angst. I swear Kandi is like the Queen of Angst and pulling at her readers heartstrings in the best way possible! If I could give ‘Neat’ more than five stars I would, and I cannot WAIT for the next Becker brother. I need all of these boys to find their happily ever afters!
Logan Becker and Mallory Scooter are one hot couple! Logan has been infatuated with Mallory since they were teens but she never really noticed him. He’s kept his secret crush on her from his brothers, who he shares everything with, as she’s the daughter of the whiskey distillery where there father died. There has been a lifelong rift between the Becker and Scooter families and neither family would ever understand or accept a relationship between the two of them.
Logan has been the lead tour guide at the Scooter Whiskey distillery, where two of his brothers also work. Mallory comes back to town, where her father forces her to work as a tour guide in exchange for an art studio, which has been her dream. Logan has to train Mallory and try to put his attraction to her aside. She obviously does not want to be at the distillery and they start off on the wrong foot but eventually strike up a friendship which leads to more.
Because of their family history, their relationship is forbidden and misunderstandings happen. In true Kandi Steiner fashion, this book is angsty but she’ll heal your heart by the end. This book is a standalone but if you’ve read the first book in the Becker Brother series, you’ll love this one too and you’ll get more of Logan’s brothers.

These Becker Brothers! They are so freaking HOT! Logan completely stole my heart from the very beginning of this story. The chemistry between him and Mallory was enough to drain the battery on my Kindle! Whew! This book is sexy, swoony, angsty and has such amazing characters. This was such a great story that by the end you are gonna want to flip right back to page 1 and read it all over again!
Oh does this series get even better with Neat. On the Rocks we were introduced to this dynamic family that is the Beckers. With Neat, we are introduced to Logan. He is such a by the books kind of guy that has to have order. Enter Mallory, and everything is tossed over and chaos ensues. But what they never expected is that attraction that sizzles between these two. While it could be looked at as a slow burn, their passion is utterly combustible. And ignite does it ever! Secrets and unexpected twists occur as we read this one. Between not only these two, but also the backstory of what happened to the Becker’s father. I am so down the rabbit hole with that mystery and I am dying to know what will become of it.
Overall, I was in love with this story and devoured every single word. The build of the characters and watching their romance bloom was just wow. I loved how Mallory’s character is written. How she refuses to bend in the long run to her family. This is an epic Romeo and Juliet scenario and it is just amazeballs! If you haven’t read the first book, hop to it and then devour Neat because you will not be sorry in this epic tale!
I can’t believe Neat is live! I read this a couple days ago & I’m still swooning over it! I love, love, LOVE Logan Becker. He is my favorite brother so far Kandi never disappoints with her stories & this is no different. I loved the small town holiday feel of the book. It was amazing. Mallory is perfect for Logan; such a strong character. You need to read this book. Go now! I promise you’ll fall even more in love with the Becker Brothers & this town Kandi has created
I was lucky to read an advanced copy of ‘Neat’ by Kandi Steiner, and I absolutely adored it! I had been dying for my Becker Brothers fix ever since i finished ‘On The Rocks’, and Logan Becker is a damn fine book boyfriend!
Logan Becker is the Scooter Whiskey distillery tour guide. He has been working hard in the hopes of a promotion, and up until now he was a shoe on for it. But when he is asked to train the daughter of none other than his boss, he can’t help but feel uneasy. Is he setting himself up for a fall, and will she be the one to crush his dreams?
He tries hard to remain professional, battling her sassy retorts and forcing her to stick to a schedule, but there’s something about Mallory that intrigues him, she is unlike anyone he has ever met. But with bad blood between the Becker’s and the Scooter’s, Mallory is the one woman he needs to stay far away from, but if only he can make his heart follow his head.
I absolutely adored Mallory, she is badass and entirely full of sass! She is a character with a lot of depth, and she likes to dress how she likes and views her body as a way in which she can artistically express herself. She comes across as confident and sassy, but you learn quickly of her insecurities and her ambition of owning her own gallery. But all dreams come at a cost.
With Logan there is also more than meets the eye. He is handsome, sweet and knows a ridiculous amount of facts. He loves watching documentaries and is a real family man at heart. He would do anything for his brothers, so he knows he needs to try his hardest to avoid Mallory.
This book has some amazing romance scenes, especially one where Logan admits his feelings to his brothers. It just had me!
This book is beautifully written, and the characters are all relatable and addictive. I am so excited to learn more of Michael’s story, and the solution to the ongoing mystery of what happened to the Becker brother’s father.
This book has absolutely everything you could want as a romance reader, it has passion, humour and sizzling chemistry between the characters. I adore Steiner’s writing and for having the ability to bring all these characters to life. An absolutely amazing 5 star read!

Neat by Kandi Steiner is the second book in the Beckers Brothers series. I’m so totally smitten with these Becker brothers and I feel wrapped up in their small town. I have been eagerly anticipating the Becker Brothers story ever since I finished On The Rocks and Logan Becker is a damn fine book boyfriend. Logan and Mallory’s story is everything I have come to know and love in a good Kandi Steiner novel; angsty yet heartwarming with a splash of whiskey.
I absolutely adored Logan and Mallory. Mallory is full of fire and sass and I so love that in a heroine! Logan, likewise, he is a complex character and a little nerdy and it was just the sweetest! And the two make one fierce coupling, and I couldn’t put this book down! This book is so beautifully written, and full of angst. I cannot WAIT for the next Becker brother story. I need all of these boys to find their happily ever afters! I absolutely enjoyed this touching, earnest romance and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys an angst read that would pull on your heartstrings in the best possible way.
Neat was amazing!! Actually, amazing doesn’t even do it justice, there isn’t a word for just how perfect this book was. Every new book Kandi Steiner writes officially becomes my new favorite book. It will have you hanging on to every word, unable to put the book down because you just need more. Kandi Steiner has such a way of hooking you, reeling you in and keeping you until you’ve spend all the day on the couch reading. Logan Becker was just perfect, he’s the ultimate book boyfriend. I never thought anyone could top Noah, but Logan somehow did it. The chemistry between Logan and Mallory was on fire. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
4.5 “Logan owns my heart” Stars
“‘Cause you were Romeo. I was a scarlet letter.
And my daddy said, “Stay away from Juliet.”
But you were everything to me.
I was begging you, “Please don’t go!” -Taylor Swift
TS sings it best. What truer words that fit so well with this sorry of forbiddenness laced with undeniable attraction.
Just when I thought Noah Becker had my heart-here comes Logan Becker and obliterates everything I knew. If I thought I fell hard for Noah, well it has nothing on how my heart tripped over everything and instantly landed in Logan’s hands.
Logan Becker is the epitome of the perfect man. There was no question he’d steal my heart, but I didn’t know the magnitude in which he would. He’s everything caring and loving and just an all around incredible man. He embodies everything that is good and stands up for what is right. If you can’t tell, I love Logan immensely. And what made me love him even more is even though his family is rivals with the Scooters it doesn’t negate what he feels for Mallory Scooter, who he’s secretly crushed on for years. Logan’s feelings for Mallory have grown and no matter what, he’s giving in and igniting that flame no matter the burn.
“I wondered if it could be possible—a Scooter and a Becker being friends.”
Mallory Scooter dances to the beat of her own drum. She doesn’t care what people think of her and does what she wants. She’s sassy and not afraid to speak her mind and is a total badass. She doesn’t have the greatest relationship with her family and that’s one of the reasons why they don’t know who she really is, the real Mallory. She comes off as confident, but underneath there are insecurities that lurk. All she wants is to own her own gallery, but she’ll realize it’ll come at a price. She’s never wanted part in her family’s legacy, but to get what she wants she’ll have to work at her fathers distillery. And even though she knows she shouldn’t, that’s where she starts feeling things for Logan Becker.
“There wasn’t a decision to make—not where I was concerned. It had already been made for us, without either of us having a say, without either of us having an ounce of control to throw this story in another direction. We were inevitable, me and him. And maybe we knew it from the start.”
Logan and Mallory are a modern-day Romeo and Juliet. They both knew that neither of their families would accept their relationship. But that didn’t stop their undeniable connection. They saw each other for who they were, their true essence. They complimented each other like no other. Their passion burned through the pages. Logan and Mallory were every bit scorching hot and I couldn’t get enough.
“He was my Romeo, and I his Juliet, and our families be damned—we were going to make it.”
Neat is the second book in the Becker Brothers series. This small town modern-day Romeo and Juliet story had humor, passion and scorching chemistry between Logan and Mallory. It was sexy, addicting, heartfelt and romantic. With rival families, deep secrets and a forbidden romance that you couldn’t help but root for. There’s something about those Becker’s that is just addicting. And it’s no surprise they’ll leave you thirsty for more. Being back in Stratford, Tennessee with the Becker boys was a total escapism. I need more. I want more. I crave more. One thing is definitely certain when reading a Kandi Steiner book, she brings all the angst and makes you feel everything. And in the end, it’s all worth it.
Neat by Kandi Steiner is now available and in Kindle Unlimited! This small town, country romance is perfect to get you into all those cozy fall and holiday vibes you’re craving. Plus, it’s got a forbidden element — a “new age Romeo and Juliet!”
Neat is the second book in the Becker brothers series. This one focuses on Logan. I have to say that I actually loved this one more than the first! Logan is the best character. He’s nerdy, sweet, driven, thoughtful and an all around nice guy. Logan has been working as the lead tour guide at the whiskey distillery. He is aggravated when Mallory, the owner’s daughter, comes back to work at her dad’s distillery, and he has to train her. Their families have quite a bit of history and a lot of real bad blood between them. Mallory wants to open her own art studio and unfortunately, has to make a deal with her dad to get her art studio for working at the distillery. Things are rough between these two at first. Logan tries so hard to resist her but he’s also fascinated with her. Mallory is quirky, fun, and messy, with a good heart. This does read a lot like Romeo and Juliet with feuding families. It was well written, and entertaining with great characters. I would definitely recommend this!
* I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Becker family has a long history with Scooter Whiskey Distillery because their grandfather helped his best friend start the distillery years ago. Sadly, there was nothing in writing protecting the Beckers’ interest, and when the Scooter patriarch died, the gentlemen’s agreement died with him. In spite of their father’s suspicious death in a fire at the distillery, the Becker boys continue to work for the Scooters and uphold their father’s legacy. Oh, and did I mention that the Beckers hold the Scooters in the lowest possible regard? These two families are the modern-day equivalent of the Montagues and the Capulets.
Logan Becker went to work at the distillery straight out of high school, and his dedication and conscientiousness have made him the top tour guide at Scooter Whiskey. He has hopes of being promoted to manager when his boss retires, but first he’s tasked with training Mallory Scooter as a tour guide when she’d rather be anywhere else than working in the family business. But she has a deal with her father: she’ll work at the distillery in exchange for the financial backing to open her own art studio.
Once again I find myself drawn into the quaint small town of Stratford, TN, a colorful, welcoming place with no shortage of quirks, where the Scooter family is treated like southern royalty. The Becker family may be regular folks, and those Becker boys may be considered trouble, but their loyalty to the family flows through their veins and they always have each other’s back. Add in the theme of star-crossed lovers, (because a Becker and a Scooter together? Yeah, there are exactly zero people who think that’s a good idea!) and we have the setup for a delightfully entertaining, if not deliciously inviting, read.
Seriously, Mallory Scooter is the last person I would pair with Logan Becker. He’s buttoned up, precise and perfectly ordered and she’s . . . not. Mallory is still working through some leftover teenage rebellion towards her father, and no one can subdue her impetuous free spirit. This is the point where I tell you to buckle in and hold on tight as the shenanigans and fireworks commence. Because as opposite as these two are, their road to finding their forever is loads of fun and highly amusing. Toss in a little drama, heat and angst, and it’s the perfect combination for a supremely satisfying read. As wrong as they seem for each other, Mallory and Logan are perfect together, and her finding her home in him is something I felt to the depths of my soul. *happy sigh*
Although there is a thread of mystery surrounding the Beckers’ father’s death that runs through the series, these books can be read as standalones, and you’re not going to want to miss any of them. Maybe it’s their strong sense of family, their teasing and bickering, or the way they keep their father’s memory alive by dancing with their mom after dinner as their dad did every night of their marriage, but there’s something so compelling and appealing about these Becker boys. So get started with Logan and Mallory’s story and then catch up with Noah and Ruby Grace in On the Rocks so you’re ready when the next book comes out. While you’re doing that, I’ll be impatiently waiting for Michael’s book. I have a feeling it will break the Becker mold, and it’s going to be amazing, too!
