Janie Morris is a quirky “weird” character who imparts trivial information when she digresses, often as a defense mechanism when nervous. Good-looking Quinn Sullivan makes Janie nervous. She thinks he is a security guard when he ushers her out of the building on the day she loses her job (and leaves her cheating boyfriend). Quinn helps Janie get …
OK, the story and romance are pretty good. However, I am very similar to the heroine in my anxiety issues but she takes it to STUPID levels. Like she drove ME nuts and I have a lot of the same mannerisms. That made it hard to like her.
Still the romance was very realistic otherwise, when the hero makes mistakes and isn’t super perfect.

Ya’ll. This book was fantastic. I couldn’t put this down. It was cute, it was funny and quirky, it was sweet. Both Quinn and Janie were great characters and very likable! Heck, even the group of friends – I want a group of friends like them. Hilarious.
Similar to the Winston Brother books, there is a little drama but it wasn’t something …
A quirky, fun, entertaining and feel good romance. I enjoyed this story.
I took a chance on this because it it was free for a short time – and Penny Reid has ended up being one of my favorite authors.
I loved it!
I never finished reading it. Just not my style.
A good read.
I LOVE these books & the “beard” series!
For anyone starting this series, try the audiobook! I really saw the hit or miss reviews as a challenge so I decided it would be less painful to start this series if I made myself listen to it. I was right!
What did I like? Throwing in the towel on this one was not an option so I listened while I was working. Two birds one stone and let’s just …
I loved the characters. I really did want to learn the importance of “granny panties” lol.
I love all her books. Janie and Quinn story is one of my favorite of this series. I loved everything about it.
I love everything Penny Reid writes!!
I loved the characters interactions. Janie’s spouting of trivia facts at the most awkward
moments was hilarious. I have definitely learned a few new facts from her. Quinn was strong silent type. The interplay with her sister had you knowing something was going to happen. I really enjoyed this story.
Cute book
I loved the humor in the book and the witty characters. It was romantic without any smut to skim over. I love a clean (practically) romance!
Loved this book!!
I’m sorry but I just couldn’t get into this book. Too many run on sentences about random information that aren’t important to the book.
Interesting read
Quirky character that is sometimes funny but often lacks common sense. It was hard to embrace the characters.
