Penny Reid writes such warm-hearted romance, I always love spending time with her characters. They’re smart, and witty, and imperfect, and you’ll be cheering for them to find their HEAs.
I love Penny Reid’s books. The heroine’s are quirky and imperfect. I love that about them—I think all readers can relate to that. It makes me root for her all the more. Loved this book and am hooked. I am now a stalker!
This book was incredibly well-written, intelligent, funny, and just GOOD.I’ve gifted this book to a handful of my personal friends.
I’m not usually a fan of romances unless they are funny. I decided to give this story a chance because it was on sale on bookbub and I’m so glad I did! I have become a huge Penny Reid fan after reading this story! I have now read 1.5, 2 and 3 in the “Knitting in the City” series. The series involves a group of women characters that you see in each …
I love everything written by Penny Reid! Her books are smart, witty and thoroughly entertaining. And this book is the true example of her writing style. Her prototypes are flawed, yet fascinating. This book has funny, heart melting moments which will make you keep on reading and by the time you realize, you will be picking up her next book and her …

I finally got a chance to read this. Penny Reid does not disappoint! 🙂
I love anything Penny Reid writes. Janie and Quinn are such a quirky, appealing match. Janie’s oddities and Quinn’s stern manner come together to create an intriguing, sometimes deliciously frustrating combination.
Extremely funny, witty, and masterfully written (romantic comedy)! If you arelooking fora smart, intelligently worded love story, pick this one up.It was a”couldn’t put it down” read for me.
Loved Janie & Quinn!!! Most women can relate to Janie’s quirky behavior and #fangirling after a hot guy (Quinn)!?!
I loved this book and the characters. It’s not only romantic but smartly written with wit info.
Definitely recommended
I really enjoyed the heroine in Neanderthal Seeks Human. She’s socially awkward, a bit reclusive, crazy smart, she gets easily frazzled, can spout off trivia facts like nobody’s business, her self-esteem works against her, but she still manages to be sexy and completely adorable. This story was a fun and light adult romance that had a little bit …
Great book with good plot. Loved it!
I couldn’t put it down!!
Had this been the first book I read by Penny Reid, it woulf have been the last. Right from the start, I did not like the main characters. Janie was supposed to be a brain. She came off as clueless and just plain weird. Quinn was a total jerk from the word go. Other than the main characters, there was no development of the others in the book.
O …
Interesting characters and situations. I enjoyed this book.
