My life in the highlands is simple – and that’s how I like it.But when a wee bairn is dropped off on my doorstep, things get complicated. My sister’s baby needs looking after, but I have my fields and sheep that keep me busy. When an American nanny moves in, it seems my problems are solved.Except Elsie’s making my life more tangled than the baby is.She’s everything I’m not and exactly what I need.… and exactly what I need.
And I won’t be happy unless she’s holding this Highlander’s sword.
They say first comes love, then comes marriage – but we’re starting off with a baby carriage.

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I usually do Frankie Love and I know it is a novella but I just felt like it was rushed. I did like that Kier was a Scot who has his sisters baby left with him and Elsie comes to care for Brodie.
My favorite quote: “Of earthly joys, thou art my choice.”
Nothing better than a farmer with a baby, right? Well, that is when the farmer has no idea what he is doing with a little one. Kier is awakened one night to discover his whole life has been turned upside down. He is now the sole caretaker of his nephew.
Having no idea how to take care of a baby, he calls for a Nanny. What he wasn’t expecting to show up at his door was Elsie. Elsie and Kier have no idea how to run a house, cook, or do general thing. However, they both know how to love unconditionally.
What happens when Elsie’s contract is up? Will she stay and take care of her new love or leave? Yup have to read and find out.
***received this arc from the author at no cost***
I love everything these two write and this one is no exception.
What is not to love about Kier. He’s everything any woman would want and more. Elise is a sweet American who finds herself in a 3 month nanny program but little does she expect to fall for this big hunk of a Scotsman.
This book is short and fast paced but sweet as any book you would ever want to read. So grab a copy and enjoy.

Light, fun and brief; a bit too short for my liking because I really did not get a good feeling for the couple’s background or why, in this day and age, they’re using horses to get to auctions and living without ubiquitous modcons like a working telephone?. In an era when sheep farmers in New Zealand are using drones to help herd their sheep, this portrayal of rural Scottish life seemed Brigadoonish! Still, an enjoyable romance with a happy and steamy end.
I loved this story from first page to the last. It is fun, romantic, a bit steamy, charming alpha and independent woman. I like their chemistry and how they interact. I like the twists and turns that are thrown at the reader right from the first paragraf. A story that caught me from start to finish and enjoyed reading it very much. A novella that has it all.
Kier has always taken care of his sheep and has no idea of how to take care of a baby, even though that baby is his nephew. He knows he needs help and he asks for it.
Elsie has grown up reading about Highlanders, so when a chance of getting a job in Scotland she grabbed it.
It is funny to see how Elsie, a woman city, feels in love with the country and its beauty and of course with the countryman, Kier. In spite of being so different, there are a lot of things they have in common.
This was a fast read. The Hero and heroine were likable characters, but there weren’t any distinguishing traits mentioned by the authors for me to believe these two fell in love so quickly. On the surface, she was probably the only woman he’s seen in a long while because he lives like a recluse since his farm is in a pretty rural area. She admitted wanting to live out one of her romance novel fantasies of finding a Scottish highlander to sweep her off her feet. There’s no mention of how she adjusts to moving from a highly urban area like Seattle where she has used UberEats to an isolated farm with no phone or internet service. Her nanny contract is only for 3 months, which also doesn’t make sense because the baby will not even be a year old if she decides to leave. This story was way too short since there wasn’t even time to create any real conflict between the two, nor did either of them carry any character flaws. And the title? Not sure where he learned his “naughty” moves. This book was too light on content and was a miss for me.
GAH! I love these authors!! Naughty Scot is everything you know and love from CM Seabrook and Franki Love! This is a great quick read! It has it all! LOVED!!
Elsie comes to Scotland to be a nanny and thought it would be a little like a romance novel. However she quickly learned reality was definitely more eye opening. She arrives at her post without her luggage and coverage in a mixture of mud and animal waste. Kier never thought his life would include a family at this time in his life but when his nephew was dropped in his lap he knew that he would do whatever it took to make a life for them. When he opened the front door and found his new nanny about to burst into tears his set about fixing matters and got her into a shower to get cleaned up while he found her some clothes to wear. Once that crisis was adverted they could talk about what he needed of her for his nephew. Elsie tried to be more than just a nanny for them but she wasn’t much of a cook and almost burned the house down so Kier told her looking after that baby was enough. Sparks flew between them whenever they were together. Kier wanted his new nanny but wasn’t sure if she felt the same. Then one day they come together but the baby interrupts them and then they have to talk about what they almost did. Its then that they learn that they are both virgins and have been waiting for the right person to be with. Could they have found that person in each other?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is sensually sweet. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Wow. This quick, easy read pack a punch that will leave you with all the feels. Nothing deep or nefarious, just a Scottish Highlander named Kier and an American woman named Elsie. The story is fast paced with an instalust, the storyline is really about everyday life, and the characters are just romantically sweet. That’s not to say there isn’t some smexy time, because there is, it just doesn’t over take the story. What a great way to take a break. This is my voluntary review of the ARC I was given.
*Bowing down to the great minds of Frankie Love and C.M Seabrook* Ladies you are so amazing together and I am so pleased with this new series.
You know those books that keep you up at night? You know what I am talking about ladies *Wink wink* Well this is one of them. Although this story is short, it is a great book that kicks off the series so well, when reading you just want the next page more and more.
The new series kicks off with a trip to Scotland and our very own highlander. Kier is a highland Scotsman, tasked with taking care of his recently passed sisters child. The big brooding man knows nothing of taking care of a baby and does the one thing he can think of.
Hiring a nanny.
Elsie, a young woman from America entered the highlands with fantasies of her very own highlander, like the ones she sees on the covers of books. She has no idea what awaits her, after a disastrous set of events getting to the house, Elsie is thrown when she is insistently attracted to her new boss.
Little does she know that he holds a secret, a secret she MORE than willing to do anything to find out,
Frankie Love and C.M Seabrook are like the dynamic duo, when they get together the peer into the minds of their readers and boy oh boy do they never disappoint. This is a hot and steamy read that I just couldn’t pass up.
I love this new series from these authors. As you read this short story, it feels as if Kier is speaking in your ear with his sexy Scottish accent. Kier is twenty-four years old and is living on his farm until a surprise visit from Martha, a social worker, drops off a new addition to his family. Not one for shirking his responsibility, he enlists the help of a nanny but never expected the person who arrived. Elsie finally arrives at the farm after a series of unfortunate events and is instantly struck by Kier. Filled with humor, wit and genuine affection this is one story that you will not want to end.

Kier is a sheepherder in the Scottish Highlands who is taking on the responsibility of raising his nephew, Brodie, after his sister dies in childbirth. Kier knows he needs help and hires a nanny. Elsie is a recent college graduate looking for adventure as an international nanny who loves romance novels featuring Highland heroes. Kier and Elsie are attracted to each other, and the air around them crackles with electricity. Will Kier and Elsie give into their attraction for each other? How will Elsie react when Kier reveals his big secret? Will Elsie leave Kier and head home to America when her 3 month job is done? I really enjoyed Naughty Scot by C.M. Seabrook and Frankie Love. Naughty Scot is a quick, short read filled with laughs, insta-love, sexy Highlanders, and steam. I would definitely recommend getting Naughty Scot by C.M. Seabrook and Frankie Love.

Naughty Scot is a sweet novella about a Scotsman and an American nanny. When Kier unexpectedly gets custody of his nephew he is in need of a nanny. Elsie, an American is in Scotland for the summer and gets the job as the nanny and so much more. Love that these two come from two completely different backgrounds and end up finding their “one”. This is a well written novella with believable characters and a great HEA.
