This was a great short story…
Ember is trying to help her bestfriend out with her relationship problem and starts a oven fire from a frozen pizza . One of the sexy firefighters flirts with her and asking her out, she sees herself as not the type of woman who can attract a hot man let alone a firefighter.
Nate is the type of guy who loves to date woman, he never gets serious with them until he met Ember. At first sight nate is attracted to ember and wants her, he knows she is different to him from the other girls. She makes him feel so many things he isnt used to,nervous, overprotective, and jealous. Now ge just needs to prove to her that she is “the one”.
This was a great story. It was well written and fast paced. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling hot. This book has everything you need to keep you turning pages hot sexy men, steamy scenes and some conflict thrown in. I cannot wait for what this author writes next.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Wow was it the heat from the fireman or the heat in the kitchen that caused that kiss. There were twists and turns, it was hot and steamy with emotions that makes you wanting more.

I can’t believe he wanted me, and then he kissed me! Ember wanted the fire department to show up so her bestie, Leah and her fire crush, Chase could work out a micommunication. Chase’s partne/brother, Nate was looking into the fire source. Ember was attracted to the good looking man and surprised when he seemed to reciprocate. Leah couldn’t tell Ember anything about Nate which was strange. Ember, weighed down with insecurities and not embracing facts, made an assumption and acted on it. Nate was blindsided and wanted to correct the problem. Will Ember talk to Nate? Can Nate fix the problem? Is Nate finally emotionally engaged? Nice story, short and compact. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntariy leaving a review. Totally hot cover art!
Third book in this wonderful fun series and now we get Nate brother to Chase (previous book) story
Chase and Leah are having trouble in their relationship so what can Ember Leah’s best friend do but try to help Her way of helping is to start a fire so that Chase will have to come rescue them and he and Leah can sort out their problems What she doesn’t expect is Nate to get mad with her for starting a fire well burning a pizza. What he doesn’t expect is to kiss the woman that is causing all these problems. He is so drawn to her that he asks her out to dinner that night when another woman crashing their date makes Ember realise he is a player she decide to leave to protect her heart. Can Nate convince her that she is something special or will his history destroy his chance at a true love
An exciting fast pace short read! The story line is well-developed, engaging, and well written with some misunderstanding and a sweet HEA. Likeable characters; their chemistry is instant and off the charts! Definitely recommended!

Holy ice buckets Ember and Nate are steamy hot!!!
One burned Digionro pizza ignites another fire for Nate and Ember. Nate is a firefighter, the brother of Chase who we met in the previous book when he is called to the apartment of Ember and Leah to put out a kitchen fire. It turns out that Ember, Leah’s roommate, had burned their Digionro pizza on purpose in order to get Chase and Leah in the same room again. What lovely, smart and curvy Leah did not plan for was Nate showing up also. One look at each other and let’s just say they are both more than ignited and ready to explode. Once the pizza has been put out Nate turns his attention on Ember and before you can say go lips are smacking, tongues are tangling and some clothes are being lifted. But duty calls and Nate and Chase have to leave. Before Nate leaves he asks her to dinner the next night and she agrees.
Dinner is an interesting situation as it comes to light that Nate has a bit of a past with the ladies but Ember is cooling her temper and accepting that everyone has a past. Instead of dinner they have a drink and skip out early for “dessert” which Nate eagerly enjoys at his house before they can even make it past the door. The next morning Ember awakes and when she goes to the kitchen she also checks her phone where there are some texts from Leah with more info on Nate and it is not pretty. When Nate awakes and there is no Ember he does not know what to do. He was already thinking about her and a life together. Now what does he do and how does he make this right?
This is a really fun, funny (Ember is a hoot so make sure you are somewhere that you can laugh out loud), sweet, romantic and steamy hot short story. It is well written with a great story-line that ties in with the previous book, Chase, and a few characters. The characters of Nate and Ember are wonderful and together they are electric. As with the previous books the inner dialogue of these two is really funny and had me laughing a lot. A definite must read along with the previous books in the series!
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I really enjoyed this story. It’s an instalove romance between a firefighter that’s an older man and a younger woman.
Ember is best friends with Leah. Leah is in love with a firefighter, Chase, but they had a misunderstanding. Ember decided to burn a pizza, so the fire department would show up and Leah could talk things through with her firefighter. She didn’t expect his brother to try to rescue her. He doesn’t like that she started a fire just to get them there. He gives her a kiss that could start a fire of it’s own, but then finds out that Nate is a player so she is afraid of being just a fling.
Nate and his brother Chase are firefighters. He meets Ember after she gets them called out for a fire call, only to find out that she burned a pizza to get them to come. He’s very interested in her and when they kiss in her kitchen, he realizes that it’s more than just interest. He wants to spend more time with her than not, which he isn’t used to since he never thought he wanted to settle down. Ember finds out about his reputation and he has to figure out a way to let her know that she is the only one for him.
Really liked how the story played out. There is a bit of angst a couple of times, but it gets worked out. I recommend reading this book!

Nate the fire fighter wants Ember as soon as he sees her. He is attracted to her even though he is reprimanding her for setting a pizza on fire to get his friend and brother Chase’s attention. As Ember is explaining to him that that was the only idea she could think of to help Chase and her best friend to work out their problems, she is now being kissed in the kitchen. This was a short story. My opinion it was too short because I want to see more of this relationship evolves. But what can you do love is fast sometimes or love is slow as hell.

All in all I really enjoyed the romance part of the book. I know this is a short story that shows these characters instant attraction but certain choices the main characters made I didn’t agree with. Ember was just too hung up on going out with and/or getting with a firefighter that she loses her mind and don’t think straight. How your best friend and roommate goes out with Nate’s brother but knows nothing about him until after Ember and Nate has first date…then end up telling Ember how much of a player Nate is after the fact? How you go on a first date with someone and wants something meaningful but don’t wear panties? Never had one night stand but willing to take chance with the firefighter. How Nate who played the field a lot going to ask a woman he just met if he can wear a condom or not. I’m a big fan of romance and their HEA was wonderful it’s just some of the choices that ultimately led to their commitment to one another irritated me a little.

Nate is a firefighter, serious about what he does for a living. His brother is Chase (from the second book). Ember is a college student, smart, beautiful, and curvy. Her roommate is Leah (from the second book). Leah and Chase have a misunderstanding. In an attempt to get them back together, Ember “accidentally” burns a frozen pizza so the fire department will show up. That’s when she meets Nate. They share a hot kiss, and she agrees to go out to dinner. Is he still a player? Can he really fall in love with Ember? This is a very enjoyable story to read – short and sweet with an explosive heat level and a happy ending, a good lunchtime read. These two are perfect together.

Oh, I loved how this one picked up right when the pizza fiasco happens from Chase’s story. Nate and Ember are so hot I was surprised they didn’t start their own fire. What a great short and fire-starting read this is.

This is book 3 in a wonderful series. The characters are funny, determined, dedicated, devoted, and totally instantly taken by each other. Hart easily draws the reader into the story and keeps them engaged in the developments throughout.
Nate is a firefighter who responds to a burned pizza with his brother Chase (fellow fireman). Turns out Ember started the fire intentionally to get her roommate (and BF) back with Chase. Nate was not impressed with the action, but was physically drawn to Ember. He kissed her, and got an agreement for dinner the next night.
At dinner, they were approached by a female. Nate did not remember her, but he was a player. Ember wrote it off initially, but after reading her emails while Nate was sleeping, she learned he was a really big player. She believed she had been played to, so she dressed quickly and left while he was still sleeping.
Nate, however, was not playing. Ember was it for him. With her ignoring him, would he be able to get back his girl, or would his history preclude him from his desired future? Read today to find out!

This book was about Ember and Nate. The story flowed well and it was well written. I enjoyed the previous books more. I found the h in this story to be annoying but it was definitely a personal preference sort of thing.
