Zoe Addison has left her home in England to fly to the US and become a nanny for Taras Melekhov’s daughter Emma. She is the US on a six month Visa and is excited for this new opportunity although she is aware of who her new boss is and what his profession is.
Taras Melekhov is a dangerous man who runs the Bratva, a Russian mob in the US. His enemies all want to take him down and therefore Taras remains guarded with his life and Emma’s.
When Zoe challenges Taras on how he raises Emma the sexual tension between the two grows but with Zoe in town for a limited time, will Taras let her in?
When it’s clear Taras’s enemies will stop at nothing to break him down who will be caught in the cross-fire?
This was such a great book and was so much more than I was initially expecting! I have never read this author before and the book was so much more than a nanny and her boss.
I thought Zoe was a great character and I definitely found her background and the way she grew up unique. I think that gave her so much more adaptability although I don’t think she was expecting quite so much with Taras and his stubbornness. Zoe was so kind and took an immediate love to Emma and the two became very close.
Taras was very determined to keep certain parts of his life closed off from everyone. I loved that he played the cello was very talented with it which led to certain other things in the book that I loved! He was so protective of Emma after what happened with her mom, Nina, and because he had lots of enemies.
The sexual tension between Zoe and Taras was super intense and you knew things would happen and they were HOT!!! You definitely need a fan to get through some parts of this book!!
I admired Zoe for putting herself out there at a certain point as she knew that would help Taras but I was completely shocked about the events that happen soon after that. I was freaking out so bad at what happened and what was going to happen. I was so proud of Taras for what he did and it showed how much love he had for Zoe!!
I was beaming at the end of the book for what happened with Zoe and also for Emma!! I really hope we get a story with Emma in it as well! – By Rebecca

I love SC Daiko, so I knew without reading the blurb that I’d like this story and I was not disappointed. We get a young nanny from England who comes over to the states to be the nanny for the Bratva Boss. It is an unlikely pair, who fight their attraction for each other due to their jobs, but the sparks fly and she melts his frozen heart. I was in love from page one. Such amazing characters, the climax of the story had me balling my eyes out! Loved every second.

S.C. Daiko’s name has been on my ‘authors to read’ list for a while now so I figured why not start with Nanny and the Bratva Boss since I love mafia romances.
Taras is a closed off man that makes very little time for his daughter. Taras is a mystery but as the story progresses you learn more about him and why he is the way he is.
Next, we have Zoe that comes from England to become the nanny for his daughter, Emma. From the start, Zoe has questions about Taras’ past and why he is the way he is toward his daughter. Emma, on the other hand, is just sweet as candy.
So, here lies the problem with me .. it was forced and rushed. When I say, forced, I mean that it seemed the chemistry between Taras and Zoe was forced. When I say, rushed, I mean that the story progresses far too fast. They seemed to have very little in common other than music and lust.
I would ask that you read other reviews on this before making a final decision on whether or not you want to read this book. Just because I was not a fan does not mean you should not read this book. S.C. Daiko has other works that have caught my eye and I will be reading those.
I don’t even know what to say. If you in the mood for a hot broody alpha male then this book is for you. Taras was a mafia kingpin and he needed help looking after his daughter. So he hires an English nanny. But he didn’t expect to be so attracted to Zoe. But she was another women he had to sleep with and get over with. And she was only there for six months so that wouldn’t be a problem for him. What he didn’t expect was to actually fall in love with her and want her for more than just six months. But Taras has lots of enemies and Zoe might not be as safe as he thought she was.
This one was definitely my kind of alpha male. He was hot, muscled broody and a total douchebag, lol. But in the end you can’t help but fall in love with him.
Zoe came to America to be a nanny to Emma for 6 months. She needed the money and knew who she was working for but hadn’t met him yet, she was actually hired by the housekeeper. When she did meet Taras she determined that he needed to spend more time with his daughter after she saw how he treated her.
She does everything in her power to show Taras that he isn’t doing his daughter any favors by keeping her at arms length. Once he started opening up his heart to his daughter it was easy for Zoe to get in there too. He has always loved his daughter but didn’t show it, he didn’t want to show a weakness. Zoe showed him it didn’t have to be that way.
When things outside of their little world blow up in their faces will they be able to hold on to what they have? Will it be too much? Will they be able to get their HEA?
SC Daiko well done! Outstanding and compelling story. The plot twists knocked me over this is one book you really need to read if you like the unexpected to happen and to see it overcome.
Taras is a hard man who has an eleven-year-old daughter, Emma who needs a new nanny Zoe is a loving but firm nanny who falls in love with Emma upon sight and he father is not far behind on the loved track.
Sparks fly between Taras and Zoe through the entire book the sexual tension was thick enough to cut with a knife, Emma was a delight with her gilded cage view of life, and Zoe brings out the best in everyone she sees.
Can’t say enough about this book, pick up your copy on Kindle Unlimited, read it and review it too.
I received an Advanced Reader’s Copy of Nanny and the BRATVA BOSS, I have read it and given my honest opinion of the book in my own words.
Thank you and Happy Reading!
Great mafia book that will pull you in from page one! Be ready to read 2 characters who are so wrong and right together at once. This storyline is sure to have your heart racing.
I enjoyed reading The Nanny and The Bratva Boss. It was a quick, easy read. It had a bit of stubborn alpha with some hot, steamy parts. I love the Mafia series and how all the books previously tie together with this book. Taras and Zoe were a match made in heaven. Amazing how a sweet Nanny could tame the dark brooding Bratva Boss. I’m looking forward to reading more of this series in the future.
Such a lovely, bittersweet story about English nanny Zoe, who is caring for preteen Emma in the US. Emma’s dad Taras is the Bratva billionaire in the title. Being a Bratva boss is risky business, so when Zoe suggests bringing a bit of much-wanted “normal” to Emma’s life, Tara’s is not so keen. Zoe is persistent and while she is scared of her boss, her devotion to Emma is stronger. I liked watching the relationships form over time, especially through the duets. There is danger and action, and hope and love. Loved the epilogue nine years later. There are related characters from other books which I have not read, and this was fine as a standalone.
I am voluntarily leaving my opinion of this review copy.
4 1/2 Stars!!
Raw, bloody, gritty romance that was as intensely passionate as it was violent. I loved the way the author delved into the storyline with good inner dialogue, using dual POVs at full advantage.
The pacing was good and storyline easy to follow and compelling. Just enough drama to keep this a true page turner with sensual, steamy scenes that built up the chemistry between this couple.
I liked the way Zoe penetrates Taras’s thick shell and has him feeling and thinking like a man again instead of a vicious cold animal.
The relationship that forms between this couple and his daughter Emma was also developed well and enhanced the storyline.
This was not a superficial fluffy romance, but more of a well thought out, well written romance.
Even the tragedy near the end of the story was written in a way that had me hopeful that all would be well.
Kudos to the author for creating a serious drama but also pulling off a feel good romance at the same time!

So this is a little different then what I’ve read in Mafia books. You have Taras who worked his way up to be the boss. He had everything he thought he needed including his daughter Emma. What he didn’t expect was for a nanny to change his way of thinking. Zoe is coming for a job and that’s it. She instantly fell in love with Emma. She bonds just like a mother and daughter. Taras takes a little more. He’s attracted to her and can’t stop thinking about her. He doesn’t want her in his world. Zoe makes him open his heart up and changes his way. He’s still the boss but he’s different. I like how we get both povs and the happy endings. This had a twist I haven’t saw in any other book before. It seriously broke me heart but you saw Taras dedication to Zoe and made him realize his love for her. This was a great book!
In this book we have, Zoe who is 24 yrs old. She is from England, and not sure about coming to American to work for a Russian crime boss, Taras. But, she’s here to help his daughter, Emma, not him.
Taras is a cold Russian Crime Boss. His first marriage ended in divorce. But, he will give the world to his daughter, Emma, who is just about to turn 12. Taras thinks of Zoe as Mary Poppins. Taras plays the cello, every evening. He doesn’t want the world to know what he likes or dislikes, or what he loves to do. He thinks he has been playing in secret until he hears Zoe singing one night.
Emma is a young sheltered girl. She has been home schooled her whole life. Her tutors, and ballet teacher come to her house. She rarely goes out of their house. Zoe and Emma get along famously. Emma just loves her new nanny.
Taras & Zoe are drawn together, they are about 8 yrs difference in age. SO, he’s not to much older than she is.
I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an Honest review.
Taras Melekhov is a Russian mafia kingpin and Zoe Addison is 25, is from England and is on a 6 month work visa.
Zoe first falls in love with Emma and then Taras. She knows she shouldn’t get involved but, sometimes your heart and soul won’t let you not get involved. Taras isn’t a nice man after-all he is a mafia kingpin. And, something bad happens to Zoe that brings her parents (her 2 dads and mother) to the states. Taras had the duty of telling Zoe’s parents what happened. I certainly wouldn’t want to be there for that.
I loved the story and of course I love reading the books that S.C. Daiko writes. So far, they have been very entertaining and I am very willing to sit and read them! In fact, I already have the next book that I am going to read as soon as I post this review! Their Virgin PA.
So, I read Their Virgin Nanny back in 2017 and didn’t realize that Nanny and the Bratva Boss was interconnected. Zoe Addison is Luke, Gabe & Eleri’s kid. I enjoyed reading this book too. When I see S.C. Daiko’s name it is an automatic book for me to read! 4.5 Stars
Nanny and the Bratva Boss by SC Daiko is a billionaire mafia romance. This is the story of Zoe and Taras. Zoe is an English nanny hired by Taras to care for his daughter. Taras is a Russian mafia kingpin. Taras and Zoe have an immediate chemistry which they both fight against. Zoe and Emma, Taras’ daughter bond with each other from the beginning. Taras seems cold at first but he is just trying to protect the ones he loves from his enemies. Taras and Zoe share a love for music which is what brings them closer. This book has steamy romance, violence, Russian Mafia, twists and turns, and highs and lows. I absolutely loved this book and definitely recommend it. I can’t wait for the next book by Ms. Daiko.
When you want more romance
This was my first story by SC Daiko and while I was entertained I wanted more from these Characters.
In my opinion this book was more focused on the romance than our Hero belonging to a Bravta Mafia, this may be what the next reader is looking for, however for myself I wanted moreof that dark side that got mentioned.
