SC Daiko really outdid herself with this one, we get to see more of the Russian Mafia style, ways and brutal violence alongside a loving tale of romance and a family coming together and being built, a story that will keep you turning the pages until the end.
Recommend for lovers of Mafia & Romance genre #oneclick
Wow this is such an awesome story.
Taking care of children is a way to make a difference and a living for Zoe. But the Bravta boss is cruel and has a hard cold soul . While out on a strole through New York on her day off she is approached by a man claiming to be FBI. She immediately tells Taras showing her loyalty.

Her family on the other hand were not pleased with him and when she could only say Taras over and over that was that. Zoe has changed the boss man but for tne better

I’m a big fan of SC Daiko and this might be my favorite book so far. Zoe was so sweet and totally the opposite of Taras but they had one thing in common, his daughter Emma who was the light of his life. This story had tons of twists and turns that you will be hooked the entire time

“Don’t mess up or you could walk into a room and not walk out.”
This book was more than I thought it would be. It was dark, dangerous, healing, unexpected, twisted and sassy.
“…I knew full well he’d end up breaking my heart, but I was in it for the duration.”
As much as I loved how this book ended I want another to continue with this family and organization. I hope this isn’t the end.
This is one of those stories that has you on the edge of your seat reading till the very end because there is suspense, love and so much jam packed into one book that you keep reading because you are so caught up you can’t stop and that is what happened to me. I loved meeting Zoe and Taras.
Zoe is from England and she is a nanny for Taras’s daughter. At first they have this strictly boss/employee relationship that grows into a friendship that turns into love and when it turns into love Taras really surprised me with how he reacted to it.
Taras doesn’t really think he deserves love because of his failed marriage but Zoe shows him that he can love again and not get hurt. The chemistry that these two have is off the charts and the relationship they have with Taras daughter is also amazing. Taras is a great father and the more time he spends with his daughter the better their relationship becomes.
This was a enjoyable story that was really engaging. We really enjoy reading this author’stories and yet again does she create a story for us with amazing character’s yet again.
Tara’s and Zoe aka Mary Poppins were total opposites he darkness and she the light.
We loved Tara’s character’s as we found him to be dark, dangerous and sexy as sin and so closed off (his reasons become apparent why) but, most of all we loved the sacrifices he was willing to make in the name of love.
Zoe aka Mary Poppins was sweet ,kind, caring and had a sense of humor and was a loving soul full of goodness. One of the things we loved most about Zoe was the loving relationship she had with her family and I was blown away to learn that Zoe was the daughter of Luke and Gabe from the character’s from Their Virgin Nanny and that put a smile on my face as we loved that story.
Taras is a Russian Mafia Kingpin who is dark and dangerous and sexy as sin and highly dangerous but, beneath his armor of this cold hearted man wanting what all men want is the love of a good women and his family to be happy and healthy.
Overall we loved the plot that was filled with drama ,had and engaging plot and we saw two opposites attract but, most of all we saw a home town girl heal a family just by being the loving and caring person she was.As the saying goes “When they Fall they Fall hard” perfectly described the sexy as sin Kingpin that named Taras!

Oh my goodness. This story. I’m at a loss for words, to be honest. I loved it. My heart is reeling right now. It’s over, yes, but I want more. So much more, because I loved Taras, Zoe and Emma so much.
It’s amazing the impact that one person can have on you, your soul, your being and nevertheless, your family. Nanny and the Bratva Boss was written so incredibly well. SC Daiko definitely did her research on language, location, background and even feeling. As strange as that sounds, it’s true. You would have to read for yourself. Zoe coming all the way from the U.K. was a bit out of sorts. Add to the fact that her new boss is the head of the Russian Bratva and you have nerves galore. However, Zoe is a beast. She doesn’t care who you are. When it comes to the health and well being of one certain little 11 year old (Emma) she will fight anyone; tooth and nail, to have her treated and loved as a child should be.
I love how Taras and Zoe slowly came together. It was beautiful. So painstakingly beautiful. I’d dare say they are one of my favorite book couples, to date. When Taras lets his walls down and loves, he loves hard. He protects hard. We can thank Zoe for that. She had the power to flip, turn his world upside down. Thanks be to God, for Zoe. Their love story is so powerful, so beautiful, so one of a kind. I can’t say enough about this book, so make sure to pick it up today! Top 2019 read, right here folks!!
Every time I read this author I think this is the best book yet and I feel this way about this one. Taras is mafia kingpin and a man absolutely devoted to his daughter. He failed at his marriage and is not letting anything come between him and his daughter even the nanny. He is attracted to her and they have chemistry but he doesn’t want any more romantic entanglements. Zoe is on a six-month work visa from England and falls in love with little Emma. Nightly Taras plays the cello and Zoe sings while Emma dances. It’s such a special time for them all and it makes my heart melt. This book had so much thought provoking emotions that I really connected with it. I can’t wait to see what this author writes next!
SC Daiko has written another great book. What started off as a little slow for me turned into a rapid page turner. While the twists were mostly predictable the author put a great little spin on them that kept me even more addicted. I love how characters from previous stories intermingle their way into the stories as well.
If you are looking for a steamy Russian mafia story here you go….
Daiko has a fantastic book here: the love story of Zoe brought to the US on a 6 month Visa by Zaras, a Bratvia boss, to be nanny to his 11 year old Emma. But Zaras seems stunted emotionally having lost his parents and older brother by the time he was 18, brought up doing the dirty work of the Bratvia in Russia by his intended bride’s grandfather, the head of all Bratvia, then sent to the US with his bride who went crazy after several miscarriages and becoming a cocaine addict. He keeps reminding himself that his ex-wife said he was ‘full of evil’ and keeps a barrier between himself and others, especially his daughter and his staff. His one way to harness his emotions is to play his six million dollar Stradivarius on the QT after the nanny puts his daughter to bed and other staff is gone and the house armed. With his window up, the nanny begins to duet with him from the attic; she has inherited her mother’s singing voice! She is brave enough to confront him about keeping Emma from visiting her friend, he evades, but circumstances force her to return to him! This book is full of brave action, seduction, respect and admiration, danger, and very sad outcomes to be overcome! Lots of tears makes for five stars for sure.
WOW! This book is fire blazing hot and I enjoyed it in its entirety! It is a well written, action packed, suspense-filled, witty, funny, emotionally deep, and captivating fast pace read. The plot is well developed, fresh, and flows smoothly. The twists and turns, ups and downs, and the LOL moments make for one incredible read. Amazing characters – the chemistry between them is instant, potent, HOT, and undeniable. The supporting characters, especially the daughter Emma, add even more excitement to this amazing book. This story grabs your attention from the start and keeps it until the end … you will find yourself completely engrossed in the riveting storyline. Love the ending and look forward to reading more from this author. Definitely recommended.

Lover this book. Nothing like the love, care and patience of a good woman to help her man see how fabulous life truly is. Zoe and Taras’ relationship was just wow, and sweet Emma! Epilogue was fantastic, I always truly appreciate a great epilogue, kinda makes me think the story will go on… I completely recommend this book and has a fantastic HEA, to with the storyline, I went and bought “Their Virgin Nanny” so I can read how Eleri meet Zoe’s dads.

Zoe Addison is starting a new job and it’s off to a really good start. Taras Melekhov knows how to go about getting the answers he needs. We have a secondary character, Emma, who really is more of a main character since she is so important to our couple.
One main theme here is temptation. It’s like an invisible apple is being held in front of them. There’s plenty of tension. Zoe just wants to make a little girl happy. Taras has a solid door placed between him and people. He seems to brood a lot and maybe that’s why we seem to be drawn to him. We get to see that he slowly opens up to the reader and to Zoe. Then the author adds in a twist and how could I go anywhere after that.
If you love a story where the forbidden is possible, you might want to check this out. There’s some suspense based on what Taras does for a living but that doesn’t stop the feeling of a bad boy persona. He plays an instrument and that just had me wishing I could hear it myself. Emma has a passion and that just had me wishing that I could watch her. Taras has given Zoe an interesting nickname that was a little hard to get out of my head. I loved how the author kept me guessing throughout but she also left me wanting more – plus watching Taras squirm was a treat. She left me with some food for thought at the end – what book am I reading next.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Soooo good! Blown away by their chemistry they have. I am always ready when it comes to your books SC, I cry laugh, I want to throw my tablet across the room because of all the emotions it brings out. But I can never put it down I always have to finish it to find out what happens.
I LOVED this story! I have to say it took me a minute to get into it, which is unusual with SC but after a bit, I was so engrossed in it I was almost done with it. I do like how SC intertwined her books together to bring this book together, but you don’t have to really know that. However, I really hope to see more of the children from past stories, that would be wonderful.
This story is hot, sad, breaking, sweet, and just beautiful by the end I wanted to read it all over again. Which I will do. Thank you SC for such a great story!
This nanny/employer romance was an amazing combination of steamy and sweet love in a raw and dangerous world of the Russia mafia. Tarras needed Zoe, and she was the perfect nanny for darling Emma. By the time Tarras realized the depth of his feelings for her, they were in too deep for him to ever let her go. The troubles and challenges they faced had my jaw dropping. I never saw that coming, and the way they handled everything thrown at them was simply amazing. I loved Tarras, Zoe and Emma so much!
This book grabs you from the first page and demands that you carry on reading till the very end! It’s written really well, and the story is easy to follow. There is drama, violence, sadness but also some sweet times as well. The chemistry between the two main adult characters is amazing. This is one Mafia romance you want to read if you enjoy this genre, even if you usually don’t enjoy it, I’d say give it a try, this book may just surprise you! Enjoyed reading this book that has two interesting characters and a great story-line. I recommend it if you enjoy romance and mafia themes. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
This is the first book by this author and I loved reading Taras and Zoe’s story. Taras doesn’t see himself as a good person, but with Zoe’s help he reconnects with his daughter. But can he see what she sees in him? I love how the characters interact with each other, I look forward to reading more by this author.
Wow a Russian kingpin. That will take you on a dark dangerous path. That will have you riding this dark path throughout this roller coaster ride of adventure.
