Harper might get an uncanny gut feeling every now and then, but that didn’t mean she believed in portents, and certainly not the kind that got her abducted. As Harper gripped the bars of her cage, in the alien prison; it sunk in that she seriously had been kidnapped from Earth, to become the fated consort of some alien prince. This wasn’t some elaborate prank, or government experiment. True to … form, Harper pissed off the tyrannical king with her refusal. Now she found herself at the mercy of convicts, locked away and forgotten in the bowels of a mountain.
Harper’s gaze fell on a shadowy beast of a man, sitting casually on the rundown catwalk. The imposing man looked like he ruled the prison. He was the color of midnight, and his eyes were that eerie arctic blue, that was nearly colorless. Harper shivered as he regarded her.
All Nameless knew was the Hold, with its misery and struggle. He never wanted to keep a female, surviving was hard enough, but that was before the Pink Pearl dropped into his world. Nameless had never seen anything like the stunning exotic little creature. Not only was she the catalyst for strange dreams and revelations about his past, but she made him feel. He had to have her.
Harper wanted free of the alien prison, and she wanted to go home, except Nameless wasn’t prepared or willing to let her go, even if she hated him because of it. He owned every part of her, and bound her to him, in ways that could never be undone, collar or no collar. In her wildest dreams, Harper never imagined the twists destiny could take, or that she would find soul deep satisfaction with such a nameless fate.
Follow Harper and Nameless as they struggle to get free of the Hold, and seek their revenge on the despot responsible for putting them there.
Note: This book contains erotic scenes where the dominant hero bends the heroine to his will. What pisses her off the most, is that she likes it.

An exciting read!
Nameless. What can I say? He has been through so very much. Yet he remains a man of worth, with an ambition to change his world. With the love he’s found in Harper, he can move forward, make those changes.
I have infinite respect for Harper’s inner strength and insight, and that she acts on those gut feelings. In the most inhospitable situations, she doesn’t fall apart (for long). The path to freedom is fraught with danger, yet, once free, they’re still not safe. This is an incredible edge-of-your-seat adventure, with super hot fated mate romance! Don’t miss it!
Whole this took me a bit longer than usual to get through, it was well worth the time. These characters are amazing, the camaraderie between the characters despite the circumstances they find themselves is fantastic. The banter and levity that Harper brings to every situation made me laugh. The storyline is prevalent over the romance, although it is an underlying part of the overall story arc. I really enjoyed this entire read and very much look forward to reading the next book!
Harper a bond agent is kidnapped from earth on account of her unusual tattoo and a prophecy.
Due to her not playing the submissive female and accepting her new role she finds herself thrown into the hold a prison deep in the mountain where the prisoners are left to survive however they can its survival of the fittest and baddest down there.
Catching the reluctant eye of Nameless or Shadow as Harper initially calls him her new reality is a living nightmare and Harper must learn to survive however she can.
So I really liked both Nameless and Harper, Nameless was just so alpha and dominant but he was also super protective.
He was a complete hard-ass but could also bend just for Harper when it was warranted, he also took no bull from her and made the hard choices when needed.
I also adored the sexy way Nameless pronounced her name HARpurr, so delicious.
Harper well she was resilient without being over the top tough, she recognised that she needed a protector in the hell-hole she currently found herself in, she was the right balance of capable but also knew when to stand back and her self-sufficiency only made her more attractive.
The chemistry and heat between Harper and Nameless was scorching and I loved the rough and dominant claiming between them it was super hot.
This was told from dual POV and was a really decent length.
This managed to keep my attention and was a really great well-written story and I would definitely recommend I enjoyed it massively.

Harper is a bounty hunter, who goes to her doctors for a ‘skin test’ and ends up being foodies and kidnapped. Believed to be the consort of an alien prince. The prince ( who is a good sort) does not rape her on command and after defying the king ( BOO HISS ) the prince is beaten and Harper is sent off to ‘the hold’ to rot…. until she changes her mind about blinking the prince…or the inmates change it for her.
Nameless has no idea who he is, abandoned as a baby and left in a ‘space orphanage’ for 15 years, he is then sent to the hold. At 30 years old, he is one of the longest surviving inmates, searching for a way to escape.
Until a cage is lowered, instead of the expected food rations for the inmates to fight over, it contains a woman…Harper.
This book was a slow starter, but in a good way, building up layer by layer and introducing a range of charachters ( for potential sequels!!). I liked the development of the relationship between Harper and nameless, he was quite funny at times and she was didn’t roll over and give up at the first sign of hard times.
The book is in two parts the first is in the prison which I really enjoyed. The second was more focused on overthrowing the king ( boo hiss ) I won’t say more as I don’t want to give too much away.
A lot of shove and grunt scenes ( potentially too many?) I like a shove and grunt scene but I wanted more of a focus on the story at this point. Because the story was really good, action, betrayal and kick ass heroine who saves herself!! YAS!!!!!
This is the second book I’ve read by Stephanie west and I really like her writing style, she manages to create likeable characters whose actions at times can be quite suspect… I like my good guys with a touch of bad. I wasn’t disappointed. I will be looking at more from this author.
