Only one of many, many great In Death books by JD Robb (aka Nora Roberts). Every book is a must read, order sight unseen for me!
J.D. Robb, I love this side of Nora’s writing. This series is great, keeps you wanting more.
I enjoyed the thriller part of the story a lot. I did have some difficulties with the future part, so I tried to not think about it and concentrate on the things I liked. Roarke and Eve! Such great characters. Looking already forward reading the next book in the series.
A wonderful take on a futuristic world where there is still good and bad, and cops are still trying to stay ahead of the bad guy!
I have gotten hooked on the in death series. The only thing I didn’t like is the extreme use of offensive language. There are times when it enhances a scene but not always.
I love this whole series!
Love all the books by J. D. Robb
I’ve attempted this series for years and never quite got into it. I don’t know why I didn’t like it, but I never could get immersed in the story. I decided to give it another go-thank you, Alyssa-and oh my goodness!!! I loved blunt, tough, and caring detective Eve Dallas. I could see the universal appeal of Roarke-it doesn’t hurt the guy is head …
JD Robb’s books are set in the future but very well written. I have really enjoyed reading these and I am not normally one for futuristic books
The book that started a million obsessions with the scarily brilliant Eve and of course her passionate and ever resourceful Rourke ! Futuristic and yet strangely relevant we watch the incredibly spiky Eve learn to trust and love and all while solving a murder. Characters are introduced who will feature heavily during this series but for this …
I first read this book many years ago. As an avid Nora Roberts fan I was excited to see what she could produce under the pseudonym J.D. Robb.
What we got was Lieutenant Eve Dallas, her mentor Ryan Feeney, ‘Roarke’ the single named entrepreneur and of course her best friend Mavis Freestone.
J.D. Robb does an amazing job of introducing …
JD Robb is the alias of Nora Roberts for her In Death series featuring Eve Dallas, a lieutenant with the police department set in a futuristic New York around the 2050s. Naked in Death was first released around 20 years when some of the gadgets Eve uses in her fight against crime would have seemed more Sci-fi than anything else but now with …
This is one of my favorite books of all time. I have it in paper, kindle and audible formats. I listen to it a couple of times a year. It never gets old. Ha ha – it is based in the future. Every book in this series adds more wonderful characters. J.D. Robb sees a world in the future of the one we live in which is slowly evolving. This was the …
Fabulous Sci-Fi Romance read!
The world we know today has been totally enveloped in technology and the governments have evolved too. But murder will alays be murder, it’s just the investigation methods that change.
I loved Eve! She is smart, ballsy and totally badass. She won’t sit back and let politics determine justice. And Roarke, well he …
J. D. Robb’s (aka Nora Roberts) “In Death” series takes place in the future, but she doesn’t beat you over the head with it. I discovered the series about book 16. I love it. I tracked down all the previous books & bought every book since. Though each book stands alone, you see how the repeat characters relationships too each other deveopes …
I’ve read all the “In Death” series – pre-order as soon as a new one is announced.
Love Nora’s books. Read most of the J D Robb series
A series I thoroughly enjoy. And one I often re-visit time and time again.
J D Robb, keep them coming!
I’ve read all the books in the series, but it’s always nice to go back to the very beginning – when Eve met Roarke…
If you haven’t picked up the first book in this fantastic series, grab it now! Set in the future (but not too far ahead!) it deals with a murder case and the homicide detective assigned to solve it… and the hot murder suspect she …
