RYDER: You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, Laurel. And if that’s all of you I ever get to see, I’ll be the luckiest man in the world for having seen it. I swallow hard. He wasn’t supposed to make it sweet. He was supposed to leave it dirty and inappropriate, so I could tell myself all he wanted was sex. That all he cared about was getting me naked, or if not that, then at least … least seeing me naked.
Instead, he turned it sweet. And I couldn’t tell myself any lies to keep me on my high horse.

I loved this book and the whole series!
Love this series
Oh my gosh, this series is so fun and sexy. I devour these books in a matter of hours, I wish I could read slower to prolong the pleasure.
Every time I read one of these stories I think Jasinda topped herself, then I read a new story and I find out how wrong I really am.
We find out that in this one, Ryder and Laurel are made for each other, but man do they have a road ahead for them to make it.
When Ryder ghosts Laurel after a wonderful night, she has to find out why he would do something like that. Yes, it scared the crap out of her too. But jeez, grow up and man up on what really happened. So she hunts him down at the local bar to get his side of the story.
Ryder freaks out when he and Laurel have the perfect night. He has already been down that road and is against anything the resembles a relationship again. So when he gets those feelings again he runs. Little did he know that Laurel would hunt him down to get answers he wasn’t ready to answer.
Again what a great story.
Nailed is book #3 in the Dad Bod series. This is a more mature series. Jasinda Wilder is writing for the fans and the fans requested older heroes & heroines, second chance romances with real, everyday people. And she delivers! The Dad Bod series are quick, sexy & fun reads! They are fast paced & dirty! The books are standalones. The stories are based around the Dad Bod construction company and the hot, hot men who work there. Hammered featured Imogen and Jesse; Drilled is Franco and Audra. And now we get Nailed!
Nailed is Ryder and Laurel’s story. They share many things in common. They have both had difficult relationships in the past. In fact, both Ryder and Laurel were “fixers” – having been in relationships where they thought they could fix their significant other. However, some things cannot be fixed. This leaves them both feeling a bit uneasy about the feelings that they have for each other. Their attraction to one another is strong and the chemistry between them even stronger!
“Damn, girl. You kiss like you’ve never been kissed before, and I mean that in the best possible sense.”
Nailed will have you flying through the pages! Ryder and Laurel are so sexy that my kindle almost burned up! Ryder is alpha and oh so romantic. He was also enduring, charming and sweet. Laurel is such a wonderful and strong female character! Laurel rocks the single parent role to son Nate. She has had many obstacle to overcome. She is so kind and loving.
“Yeah, but when you know, you know. You know?”
Nailed is a sexy, fun, and mature read. It does have a bit of seriousness in it as it tackles some mental health issues. I am enjoying the Dad Bod series. Nailed is a stand-alone but we get lots of time with the rest of the gang. And we get to see the relationships grow within their group of friends. Coming next is the fourth and final book in the series – Screwed! Finally! Nova & Jesse’s story! I can’t wait!
4 stars!

Jasinda Wilder is easily one of my favorite authors out there and I can’t get enough of her books! Badd Brothers and Dad Bod Contracting series are without a doubt my favorite books by her. And with Nailed, I’m sure it tops as my favorite in this series!
Ryder and Laurel are the absolute sweetest together. I really enjoyed the way their story went and they were just perfect for each other. I appreciated the way that Jasinda decided to pace their relationship, it’s not exactly an insta-love kind of story. But their attraction towards was intense from the very beginning, but that was enough for them to hold back on not trying to pursue it more. Well, it was coming more from Ryder’s end than Laurel’s. I can’t say that I fault a guy for his hesitancy especially with what he dealt with, with his ex-wife.
And can I just say that I love stories where kids are a part of it especially if they’re written in so well?! Laurel has the absolute best nine-year old that I’ve come across in a story, and he’s the cutest and you’ll fall in love with Nate. Laurel has a painful past as well dealing with her crazy ex-husband. And she’ll forever be tied to that man because of their son. But her life spiraled and she did everything she could to get back to place where she was truly in love and happy with herself. And she’s ready to welcome someone in, and that’s Ryder.
I admired Laurel’s tenacity to know more about Ryder and his reasons for essentially ghosting her. And that was probably one of the best things that could have happened for their relationship because it pushed Ryder to finally open up to her. And that’s when they realized that they have more in common than their chemistry.
Ryder knows how to treat a woman and it boggles my mind why his ex took that for granted. I can’t get enough of how was with Laurel, he treated her like every woman should be treated. Seriously…I can’t get enough of Ryder and Laurel!
I loved everything about this book, seeing the love and appreciation grow between these two, the awesome-ness that is the Laurel aka the Mama Warrior, and the best #squadgoals anyone could ask for. Dad Bod Contracting is another series that I’ll never want to say goodbye to, so thank goodness we don’t have to, yet.
**I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED FOR AN ADVANCED READER’S COPY**
Jasinda Wilder
I love this series and the amazing men of Dad Bods. The friendships are fierce and the men are all alpha.
Laurel and Ryder are the couple featured in Nailed. They have similar relationship histories and are hesitant to commit again. But, when Ryder ghosts Laurel she seeks him out and calls him on it.
You will see same wonderful characters from the previous books in the interconnected, stand-alone series. It is always great to read about them.
One click Nailed for some heat on your ereader and follow the journey of self discovery that Laurel and Ryder take with a little help from their friends.
5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review
I can’t with this story. I’m so in lust with Ryder and Laurel. I loved every second of this witty, sweet, sexy book. Both of these characters have had it rough. Their past have left them not wanting to open up their hearts to old wounds.
I loved watching to fall for these two. I know they had a rough start, but it was good to see them give it another chance. I loved getting to know them through the others eyes. I loved watching Ryder and Nate. I loved watch Ryder stand up for Laurel. Most of all, I loved the fall. These two were made for each other.
I can’t wait to see what’s to come for Nova. Please check out this awesome book!
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
This is book three in the Dad Bod Construction series. Each of them can be read as stand alone novels, however, I would recommend reading them all in order. Just to get the dynamics of the characters.
Nailed focuses on Ryder and Laurel. Ryder and Laurel both have troubled relationship histories which makes jumping into something with each other a bit scary and comes with quite a bit of uncertainty.
I enjoyed reading their love story. Both of them have had scarring relationships that left lasting scars. Laurel is a single mother and she knows that any man she introduces to her son has to be around for the long haul otherwise it’s just not worth it.
What I really like was Laurel’s son giving her the what-for in regards to the relationships she has had with men in the past including his father. It’s clear children understand more than adults think they do and can offer some insightful thoughts to some situations.
What really won me over in this book is the protectiveness Ryder shows over Laurel and her son when the boy’s father shows his behind. I was cheering Ryder on hoping for blood but his actions solved the issue just as well.
If you’re a long time Jasinda Wilder reader or just starting her books – this series is definitely one to check out. They have a bit of humor but each of the characters offers something different to their relationships. It’s almost like you get a warm fuzzy with your happy ever after.
Ms. Wilder has nailed another great storyline in the Dad Bod Construction series. The storyline and the characters are both steller. Kudos for a job well done.
This is Ryder and Laurel’s story. These two are both dealing with emotions from their their first marriages. Both suffered a lot of emotional situations to the point neither trust easily and are both are very leery of connecting with others of an intimate level. But something draws these two towards one another and eventually taking the first step by going on a date. Their attraction grows and trust me they are one HOT Couple when they get together. But outside forces are still at play. Can Ryder and Laurel get past their past internal struggles? What about the forces that don’t want them move on?
This is a very well written fun, sassy, romance that will have you laughing at every turn; from the crazies in Laurel’s girlfriend group to Laurel’s 9 year old son and Ryder’s sharp wits. Trust me when I say Nailed will have you grinning to down right laughing out loud as Laurel and Ryder muddle their way through trying to starting over. I highly recommend this 5 star read, which is book 3 in a 5 star series. 2 Thumbs Up!!!
The 3rd installment of the Dad Bod series follows the story of Ryder and Laurel. I think they have been my favorite couple so far. They fought their attraction at first, but they didn’t waste too much time figuring things out. Let me just say that they are one HOT couple. I also love the relationship between the ladies of the series…Laurel, Imogen, Audra and Nova. They are pure friendship goals! We have been teased about the upcoming story of Nova and James in book 4, and I hope we don’t have to wait very long to enjoy their story. I know it will be a good one. The added follow-up/surprise to Imogen and Jesse’s story was super fabulous as well. Love the guys and girls of Dad Bod Contracting!
