His Perfect Wolf…Niall had given up on finding love, he’d watched his brother Zayn fall for his mate, and decided he needed a mother for his son, and a mate for his own. When he finds Alaina, his wolf stood up and took notice. Alaina woke up with no memory, but the one thing they both knew was they wanted each other. As they explore their attraction, danger follows her to Mystic. Niall will have to battle a pack of shifters bent on taking what was his, and kill the man who claims to be his mate’s father.

If all you’re looking for is a short book about sex, this is your book. Otherwise, it’s a good thing it’s free.

Wish she would make this series as a bundle so can read all at once.
While the plots are very good and the characters well thought out, it almost seemed as though these stories were about sexual encounters with a little intrigue thrown in for legitimacy. I feel that they would have been just as good without the gratuitous vulgarity.
Mystic Wolves gets an A for effort and a 3.5 for execution. It has a lot of potential as a story, and I can tell the author loves to write but there’s definitely room for improvement. I struggled through this book a bit, because it felt pretty clunky, almost like I was reading fan fiction instead of published work, with grammar issues, dialogue that felt forced, and plot holes (especially in the second half). The ending of both halves felt VERY abrupt. I noticed in the author’s blurb that she mentioned being an “accidental author” and it shows a bit. I really feel like some writing courses would be a big help and learning about weaving stories with depth and relationship building, showing things to the reader instead of telling them would be a worthy investment.
Again, good effort and interesting characters, just not something I would pay money to read.
