Texting the wrong number has never felt so right. It started with a not-so-innocent text that I’d meant to send to the guy I was casually dating. Things had been moving slowly, and I’d decided it was time to spice things up.Me: I need you to come over. I want to feel you inside me.Him: Who is this?Me: Indy. Who’s this?Him: Wrong number.Me: Oh crap. I’m sorry.Him: I’m not. What’s your address? Now, … this?
Him: Wrong number.
Me: Oh crap. I’m sorry.
Him: I’m not. What’s your address?
Now, I have to decide whether I want to block him and text the guy I meant to in the first place. Or do something outrageously bold and tell him to come over.
Me: . . .

A dating app to get over a dry spell. An attempted hook up turned embarrassing by calling the wrong number … which then turns so right. R.L. Kenderson is back in grand style, and Indy and Cal‘s romance in Wrong Number? Perfect fun. Highly recommended, too.
Indy and Cal’s story is a steamy, sweet, sexy read! Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a another amazing book by R.L Kenderson to read this! Loved it and will definitely be re-reading it
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Ooops… getting that wrong number has never been so right!
That wrong number naughty text turned into a hot one & a half night stand. That then led to a steamy romance that had to be kept on the down low.
Wrong number is equal parts funny, sexy, and romantic. So fun! Great read!!
This book was a light quick read with some well written sex scenes! There were a couple of serious topics addressed in the book but nothing too heavy. I also had some laugh out loud moments as well. I don’t want to give anything away for those that haven’t read it but I do appreciate that it was not predictable- there were a few twists that I didn’t see coming from the very beginning of the book. Cal is a perfect alpha and I think we can all relate to Indy in some ways! It was my first time reading something by this author and I will definitely be checking out their other books!
I loved this book. When Indy hadn’t had any luck with the guy she had met on a dating site. He had given her a number which was the wrong number. What she didn’t realize when she texted that wrong number it was the best decision she could make. When they had their night together she really thought that was it but what she didn’t expect was when she went to work on Monday she would have a new boss Cal…. This was an awesome read. I don’t want to give away to much of the story. But it was an amazing read and a first book I have read of the authors. I will definitely read more. I highly recommend this book!!
To be honest I started this book and thought, no this isn’t for me – a one night stand just from a text, not even a drink or dinner… But I hate to DNF a book so I kept going. By chapter 3 I wanted to know what Cal’s game was and after that I was hooked, I couldn’t put it down. I loved the tension of the forbidden office romance, Cal and Indy’s chemistry is electric. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. In addition to that I enjoyed the workplace issues they faced and how they dealt with them and the bumps that arose relating to how they met. This was my first book by RL Kenderson and I thoroughly enjoyed it .
In an attempt to ignite a fire under the guy she’s been dating Indy calls him out by messaging hi on the dating app she met him through demanding his phone number. He texts her one reluctantly. So, she sends him a text suggesting that he come over and fulfill some fantasies with her. To her chagrin the person who answers is not Joel! He gave her someone else’s number! But this guy is up for some no strings sex so after exchanging several texts she gives him her address. Cal rushes right over not believing his luck! The two hit it off and it becomes their “thing”! But could it be more? With a number of twists and turns RL Henderson delivers a wonderful funny story of dating and maybe finding love in this modern dating scene.
A MUST READ
When the wrong number turns out to be the RIGHT number it leads to a downright wonderful comedy/romance. Using an online dating app leads to an in person meeting between Indie and Cal; however, they both have a huge surprise for them come the start of her new job on Monday morning. Things get really interesting and best of all The Jerk is just where you would want him.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was a fun, quick read for me. I’m sure we’ve all been in a dating app at some point in our life. That’s how I met my husband! I loved the storyline of how they met. I love the wrong number plots. While giving a stranger your address in real life could be dangerous, it made for a fun read. I loved Cal and Indy together. I loved the banter between the two. The only downside to the story was that Patrick didn’t get what was coming to him. I would have loved to have seen that!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this book. Indy got lucky when Cal came into the picture. Who knew a wrong number could lead to so much more than a one night stand?
“You can’t text stuff like that at work because it makes me want to bend you over the desk.”
My Wrong Number is the third book in the A Love Like That series. This story is about Lucinda “Indy” Scott and Nicholas “Cal” Callan. When one sexy text ends up going to a wrong number it sets off a whole chain reaction of some seriously sexy and entertaining events between these two. One night and half a day of pure fun and sex between these two was fabulous. But when Monday rolls around there is one huge, ginormous, gargantuan surprise…..Nicholas Callan is Indy’s new boss. And the the real fun begins between these two as they play a white hot and sizzling smexy game of cat and mouse. They know they have smokin’ hot chemistry and can set the sheets on fire, and any other surface they decide to use. So when they start an affair do they take it to the next level and try for a relationship or just keep it a casual thing? It all becomes more complicated when those dreaded things called feelings start to pop up. Along for the ride is Indy’s best friend and fellow employee Leslie Hale. That girl can turn the most serious situation into a comic relief event with her smart mouth and quick wit.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It is well written, has an engaging story-line and great characters, including the many supporting ones.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
My Wrong Number is book #3 in the A Love Like That series by R.L. Kenderson. This is a contemporary office romance. Now, imagine sending a sexy message to have a hot night together to a guy you’ve been on a few dates with after meeting on a dating app. Then you realize that you sent that message to the wrong number. Only the wrong number guy is fully into it. It’s on. You have an amazing night together then go your separate ways, because after all, it was only meant for one night. Then when you’re back in the office on Monday, you realize that stranger is now your boss. Awkward right? But then you both remember the hot night you spent together.
My Wrong Number introduces us to Cal and Indy. Cal has just moved back into town to be closer to his family while Indy hasn’t been having much luck in the dating scene. A wrong message has these two spending a hot night together afterwhich they learn that Cal is actually the new boss of the company where Indy works. These two have such hot chemistry that they’re unable to resist one another and we see these two spending many hot nights together. But what happens when news of their relationship gets out? Will they choose their careers or each other?
This was a great office romance with plenty of humor, a little drama and a lot of sizzle. I enjoyed how the begining of the book started out and loved the texting banter between the two characters. I wasn’t expecting an office romance to follow but the twists and turns were a pleasant surprise.
This was a delightful addition to the series. When Indy decides to get back on the dating scene she joins an app, but she gets a surprise when the number she texts ends up the wrong number. What happens next was an entertaining romance story that did not disappoint. I loved how the storyline developed with all the drama, surprise and heat level galore. I can’t wait for more of this series that gets better with each new story.
Cal is everything!!
I have loved this series! It’s so nice to break away from my usual genre every now and again and read something fun and light. This one had be rolling it was so funny at times. I think Cal might be my favorite RL character. He’s tough competition for Tommy!
What happens when you text the wrong number but it turns out to be the right guy? Indy and Cal are awesome. They think they are just having a one night stand after a wrong text, but things change when he ends up being the new boss. The story was a fun and steamy read. Great banter and chemistry. I loved it.
Fun and entertaining:
I enjoyed this sexy forbidden work place romance. The chemistry and tension between Cal and Indy was intense although it took them time to truly talk and open up to one another. I liked the way their relationship matured and evolved and I felt invested in their journey.
This was a fun and entertaining book with sufficient depth and no unnecessary drama. I also liked the interactions between the friends and family members. All in all, a nice little escape sure to appeal to many readers.

R.L. Kenderson, ‘My Wrong Number’.
A Love Like That Novel.
As an Hidden Gems ARC reader I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily wrote an honest review. Here it is.
Rating: 3,5 (of 5 stars).
In general: A sweet office romance.
Main characters:
– Indy Scott (29).
She’s a computer programmer working at the Minneapolis branch of a big NY IT company and likes her job.
Indy had a few times bad luck with dates, so she tries online dating. When she finds a promising candidate he reacts somewhat hesitant, so – advised by her best girlfriend – she asks him his phone number. When she sends a text to the number he gave her to invite him to make love, another man responds. It leads to a hot one-night-stand. At the start of her new working week she discovers that this man is her new boss.
– Nicholas Callan ‘Cal’ (38).
He’s also an IT-er. His job in NY was demanding so much that a doctor warned him about his health. So he found a quieter job in Minneapolis and became the chief of Indy’s office.
Then the author, R.L. Kenderson, describes how love blossoms on the workplace between Indy and Cal. It’s complicated because of the HR rules about love between colleagues and it takes time before they overcome some mistrust because of the strange start of the romance. Moreover there are problems within the mutual relationships in the office.
After the original start of the story, the developments are rather predictable but all in all for me it was a charming book.

Mr. Wrong Number is really Mr. Right
My Wrong Number (A Love Like That Novel) by R. L. Kenderson is an entertaining romance read. Indy thinks she’s interacting with someone who ends up being someone entirely different. Turns out that’s a-ok. Off the charts attraction and chemistry gets things off to a great start. Then fate introduces herself and she is sneaky, but creates a fun fodder for this book couple. Cal and Indy only think their a one-time thing. Proximity makes that an impossibility, helping them realize one time isn’t what either of them want.
The plot is interesting and goes beyond the development of Cal and Indy’s romance. The workplace is a hot bed of issues on top of the building tension between alpha Cal and feminist Indy. These two are just fun to read as are Indy and her bestie Leslie. Interactions between characters often brought a smile or laugh.
Overall, I really enjoyed this romance. Cal and Indy are great characters and their story just works in an organic, nature way that leads to the very promising HEA.
I read an ARC of this book via Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
