** A spin-off from the USA TODAY Bestselling Better Date than Never series!! **Erica Conner is a carefree yoga instructor who is fine going solo to her friend’s wedding until her uptight ex’s mother tells her he’ll be attending with his new fiancée. When she pities Erica for not having a plus-one, the criticism triggers Erica to pretend her wedding date is the new guy from yoga class who has been … class who has been very friendly toward her lately.
Josh Taylor overhears Erica claiming he’s her wedding date and decides to play along. While he impresses her nemesis by revealing he’s a successful corporate guy, Erica’s excitement about him sinks since her ex is a workaholic who never prioritized her. As Erica debates asking Josh out for real, he requests a shocking favor in exchange for being her wedding date: that she help him win back his ex-girlfriend.
Erica is disappointed but agrees to the deal. As she plays Josh’s girlfriend in front of his ex to make him seem like marriage material, she discovers he’s ambitious, but also caring and supportive. While on their fake dates, she’s laughing and having fun and finally comfortable being herself around a guy for the first time ever.
As their faux relationship grows, Erica loses her heart to Josh. And when he spontaneously kisses her she doesn’t know if it’s for show or for real. If Erica risks her heart and reveals her feelings to Josh, will he turn her down? Or will he be her wedding date for real, and maybe the love of her life?

I know whenever I pick up a book by Susan Hatler I’m getting a fun, clean romance with a happy ending, and this one was no exception. Who wants to go stag to a friend’s wedding where you’re sure to see your stupid ex-boyfriend? No one. That’s why Erica planned to ask the new hot guy in her yoga class to go with her. Plus hot yoga guy Josh is just the type to show off to your ex, his new fiancee and his snooty mother. You know what they say about best laid plans? Well, Erica’s was more like a flying-by-the-seat-of-her-pants plan so you can guess how that went.
This was a super fun story of two people who had great chemistry and were perfect for each other but needed to wake up. One of them more than the other. I loved Josh, I mean what’s not to love? The man was gorgeous, had a great job, and liked to play bingo with his grandma, AND your grandma!! And he adopted a dog from a shelter! I’m a cat person but I still found that adorable. Of course there were characters that weren’t very likeable and tried to keep Erica and Josh apart, but that wasn’t happening to our ‘Honey Boo’ and ‘Pumpkin Poodle’. I won’t give the ending away, but if it doesn’t make your heart melt and your knees weak I don’t know what would. I thought it was so swoony.
Another winner in this fun series. You don’t have to read them all to enjoy them. Each can be a standalone. This is a clean romance with just kisses.
Erica teaches yoga and Josh is in one of her classes. She realizes she needs a date to a wedding that is coming up and get Josh to play her fake boyfriend. Her ex and his new girlfriend are also going to the wedding. In getting to know Josh, she finds he is the perfect guy for her, from strengths to his kindness to animals, but he asked her help in getting back with his ex. The characters are terrific, with great backstories and intense feelings. The storyline has so many fun situations and the banter easily falls between them. Timing in this book is part of the fun and the romance parts jump all over the place. Loved the situation where they realize what they have with each other. Great ending.

My Wedding Date is a fun story about friendship, romance, nosy exes, and a very annoying ex-mother-in-law who should have known better and have kept her mouth shut. I laughed a lot reading this story and also stopped to think about some of my girlfriends wet through in real life. If you want to disconnect and recharge your batteries, download this book and enjoy it!

I’ve read a lot of Susan Hatler’s books and they never disappoint. Every story is fun, clean and on some level emotional. She writes so well, her books are usually read by me in a night or two. I never want to put them down. This book is no exception.
Josh pretty much comes to Erica’s rescue and they form a fake date of sorts to a wedding where exes are involved. Such a fun book.

This is a fun and throughly charming story! This story is extremely flirty and fun when Erica and Josh make an agreement that he is her fake wedding date and she is his girlfriend to make his ex jealous. Great premise for the romance between Erica and Josh and an entertaining read.

This is book three of The Wedding Whisperer series and the main characters in this story are Erica Conner and Josh Taylor. Erica is fed up of her mother wanting to know when she will find someone suitable after being such a disappointment in choosing to be a yoga instructor. She has a friend’s wedding to go to and soon finds out her ex is coming with his fiancée, and his ex’s mother Cynthia, is gloating about what a wonderful position she has and her college pedigree, as if that is all that is important in life! Erica has been getting some stomach tingling sensations from a new client in her early morning yoga class, but she isn’t sure if he is just being friendly or is flirting a bit with her! When he overhears Erica telling Cynthia that she doesn’t need to set her up with a date for the wedding, that she already has one of her own. She is asked who and ends up pointing out Josh, not realising he has actually overheard everything she said. He plays along with her and after Cynthia has gone, they agree to Josh going to the wedding as her date, if she will repay him by helping him to get his girlfriend back.
Erica doesn’t want a corporate type for a boyfriend, after all the hassle and lack of common decency she felt she got from her ex. He was always working and work was always more important than her, even as her grandfather was dying and he refused to give up a day on his work retreat, to support her! All she had seen of Josh was him rocking a pair of sweats and a tee, but he came out of the changing rooms in an expensive and very smart suit, ready for work. She has no idea of where he works and what his position is, never mind what college he might have gone to, she just gets butterflies when he is around! She may not be ecstatic that he wants to get back with his ex-girlfriend, but at least it will get her mother off her back and all of her mother’s snotty friends like Cynthia. She had been working up the courage to ask him out for an actual date and to get to know him better, but at least with their fake dates, getting to know each other, can give her a bit of a thrill and some dreamlike scenarios. I loved the bingo session with her gran and the silent auction for a great cause.
Josh wants her to prove he is actually marriage material to his ex, but she finds out he is very caring and easy to get to get along with. Every time they touch, it is almost electric and she is falling for him, even if he doesn’t really want her! When they share a kiss, she can’t tell whether that is for show or for real and she has to put her feelings aside, as the wedding comes closer. Can she reveal the truth to her mother her ex, or will she have to rely on a fake relationship to keep face? I finally figured out the series title meaning and there is definitely a really deep conversation towards the end of the book, which makes you think about what is really important in love and life! Romance stories with a HEA ending and a message of taking a chance rather than never ever having. I love this series, with realistic people and relationship problems, with a bit of a twist at the end. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have feely given my own opinion of the book above.
Erica makes a deal with Josh, the hot new guy in her yoga class: if he agrees to be her date for a friend’s wedding, she’ll help him get his ex-girlfriend back. But the more time they spend trying to make her jealous, the more it feels like Erica and Josh belong together. But does Josh feel the same?
I really enjoyed Erica and her love of life. It was sweet to see how she helped Jake to focus less on work and discover more joy. A fun, uplifting story.
Thanks, Booksprout, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Another fun book in the series.
Erica is a yoga instructor who go’s to bingo with her grandmother.
Josh is new to yoga and a corporate guy, not Erica’s type at all. As a favor he agrees to be her fake date to her friend’s wedding. She agrees to help him get his ex back.

Sweet and Clean Romantic Comedy
This is a sweet and clean romantic comedy about a falling for a fake date. While not much about the storyline is surprising, the way it is done kept me smiling and giggling the entire book. I really enjoyed the humor not being based entirely on slap-stick pratfalls. There is a touch of clumsiness but most of the humor is based elsewhere. I have always enjoyed this author’s writing and was not disappointed with this story. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
This is the third book in the The Wedding Whisperer Series. This is a really cute story where Erica is shamed into getting a plus one for her friends wedding . She ends up with Josh from her yoga class. The fake date situation tends to get interesting when he has her make his ex jealous. A spontaneous kiss makes her wonder is fake is real or is it for show. This is a really cute read that is quick, light and overflowing with chemistry. The characters are interesting, even the naughty ones. I read a free book via Boooksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review. You will love this book
Another great read, with lots of chemistry and hotness. This is a well written story and hooked me from the start. This is a quick hot read, with a interesting plot and fantastic characters, great emotion and Loads of steam!

Funny, sweet, romantic. Erica has been attracted to Josh, who is always in the front row of the yoga class she teaches. When she needs a date for a wedding that her ex and his fiancée will also be attending, she tells a fib says Josh is her date. Josh agrees with a stipulation, that she help get his ex-girlfriend back. But the more time Erica spends with him the more she falls for him. And then it looks like her trying to make Josh look more like marriage material for his ex is working, and she might end up with no date for the wedding of her friend after all. I thoroughly enjoyed this story of Erica and Josh. There were misunderstandings and funny scenes throughout. I thought that they were a good match and if they had just talked to each other honestly things would have been easier for the two of them, I especially liked the scenes with Erica’s grandmother. I would definitely recommend this book.

My Wedding Date by Susan Hatler a funny and refreshing five-star read. This was number three in the wedding whisperer series and I can attest that it can be read as stand-alone as I haven’t read any of the others and I adored this one. I have read a couple by this author before but not for a while, I see a binge of the back catalogue in my future. Erica was so nice and sweet, but clumsy as well. Josh just made me smile, but special mentions go to Gram and Buddy for their supporting character roles, well played folks, well played. This is a sweet read that will whisk you away. Pick it up and forget your drama for a short while, you won’t be disappointed.
Erica Conner is caught up in a dilemma in her own life: her mother and her mother’s country club friends believe she should behave in that Stepford-daughter way, and her own friends believe she should just be her Erica-spontaneous self! The book starts with her ogling Josh Taylor, a new student in her yoga class. Before she works up the nerve to approach him, a friend of her mother’s and the mother of Erica’s “perfect” ex, literally gets in her face – and let the meet-cute commence!
I laughed so hard at the pet names Erica and Josh come up with, Sweetie Bee, Pumpkin Poodle. OMG, it is hilarious. For me, though, the meat of the book rested around both Erica and Josh coming to terms with their pasts and individual self-worth’s before they open themselves up to each other and get their HEA. Some of the other characters are easy to dislike (can you hear me, Mindy???) and her friends are kah-razee (in a good way)! But these two were made for one another.
I loved this fake relationship romance! It was truly great. The characters and the storyline were amazing. I really liked watching their relationship develop. Plus, the bits of humor here and there were golden. I can’t wait to see what she puts out next!
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I adored this book! I loved it from the
first word to the last.
It’s a sweet, charming & fun romance.
Erica, is a yoga instructor. Her new
client in front of the room has her
heart beating. She was getting the courage
to ask Josh out, when her
ex’s mother showed up & messed
everything up. What’s a girl to do now?
It’s A Must Read Story!!
Fun!
