I really enjoyed this book. I’m so glad that Logan and Rhett sorted their sh*t out and started actually talking instead of assuming things, as they’re amazing together. I loved their connection and how supportive Logan was of Rhett’s panic attacks due to his PTSD from when he was kidnapped and repeatedly r*ped and nealy lost his life from what he endured over the week from hell. I loved how even before they got together and were talking and texting when Rhett was back in California, he did a lot of research on therapy dogs that can help when Rhett was stressed/having a panic attack. Scarlett, his therapy dog is so cute and totally amazing how much support they give him. Logan was trying to find ways to help Rhett deal with everything without being too pushy. Logan listened to Rhett’s needs and stuck up with him when his fathers got too overbearing in their need to try and protect Rhett as they’d always done it just got way worse after hat he’d been through. They were treating him like a child and not a young man. Their wedding was beautiful and I’m glad they decided to do the wedding their way so they didn’t have to deal with months planning a wedding and choosing the day they did was an amazing idea to turn those horrible memories to the best loving memories ever by pledging their love to each other in an intimate ceremony with their family and closest friends. I loved the connection between Unka Logan and his wee princess, his niece Phoebe. I’m looking forward to reading the next book. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
Rhett Welsh was the one character that I wanted to see get a happy ending. After what he went through in the first book I didn’t know how he was going to get his happy ending, but I knew that he was the one that deserved his.
Logan Redfeather was the one that I knew wanted the pint size Welsh brother. But, he had his reasons to hold back. And then when Rhett was taken and tortured how was he suppose to finally get the man that he wanted. This was the reason why he was so hot and cold when it came to Rhett. Then when Rhett relocates without letting Logan know, all bets are off. This is the chance that he needed to make sure that Rhett knew where he stood and that he wanted him scars and all.
This so far is one of the most emotional books in the series. And I wonder what Rylan has in store for the other couples that are part of this series. If there was a way for my heart to hurt anymore for Rhett it would of. I knew that this was going to be a couple that needed a lot of strength for them to finally be. And I will say that the youngest Welsh brother is definitely one that is strong. The way that Logan and Rhett helped one another move one from the problems in their pasts was the glue that stuck them together. And I know that I cannot wait to see this couple in future books in this series.
