Thanks to my sister, I was now a contestant on a special Holiday Baking Competition. Oh, and it was definitely going to be special… The first day on the set and everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Thankfully, Millie one of the other contestants on the show was not only a baker…she’s also a hot firefighter…The man card series is a collection of short stories that are full of steamy … short stories that are full of steamy romance. You’re guaranteed that perfect happy ending and a cupboard full of sweets from all the cravings.

Another great book in this great fun series
Kris is fed up of always running second to his sister in baking competitions and now that she is engaged and her fiance and his brother are also competing he is getting pushed even further down the winning list so he decides to head further afield At the airport on his way to his next competition he meets a stunning woman in a fun way Imagine his surprise when he discovers she is also competing in the same baking competition as him. Millie is a firefighter who loves to bake and her friends have convinced her to start competing Who will win the competition and will they give in to the attraction between them You will have to read to see
We get Kris’s story here and it’s sweet, cute, sexy, and fun. The banter had me smiling and the chemistry between him and Millie is great. The way they meet and then meet again adds on to the chemistry and the competition they have going on. Another sexy and cute story by Terra Kelly.

Will they be the perfect pairing for each other?
Terra Kelly has once again added a great new short story, My Sugar Cookie, to her Man Card series. This is the story of Kris and Millie. He is a European trained baker who has come back to his home town and his family. He has built a small but becoming known business as Mr. Sugar Cookie. It seems his sugar cookies are a hit with chefs who order them for their restaurants.
Millie is a firefighter who is a home taught, with some help from YouTube videos, baker. She is good at baking and loved it, along with being a firefighter.
Both of their families get them to apply to a baking competition where they will be on their own, no assistants or helpers, and there is a surprise of some sort that the competition is not telling anyone. When they both get to the airport to fly to Atlanta they have a few moments along the way to the plane, as it seems they are both from the same city and are both contestants in the same baking competition. They definitely heat things up during the week they are in Atlanta for the filming and are staying at the same hotel, on the same floor, and just a few rooms apart. The question becomes what will happen when one of them wins a challenge and/or one is eliminated from the competition? Will they their budding relationship be able to survive? Will they be a quick affair or will they be the perfect pairing?
I loved this fast-paced, sassy, sweet, romantic, sexy, heated and fun short story. It is a definite recommend to other!!!
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Millie is a firefighter who also likes to bake. Kris has perfected the sugar cookie. After he gets roped into a baking competition, she agrees to help him. It was a fun short and sweet adventure in cookieland. The characters are either related or good friends or friend of a friend and do these baking competitions. It’s an enjoyable quick read!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
This is another cute Man Card Book. It is funny how Millie and Kris meet. I was glad to see that they had a connection even though they were competing against each other. I loved that Millie is a firefight competing in a baking contest. I feel the two came out winners—maybe not in the way they originally planned but a much better way! I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
This is the fifteenth book in the Man Card series. This has wonderful characters, the storyline was entertaining and this was well written. The way Kris and Millie met and then kept running into each other to find out they were both competing in the cooking contest. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Another sweet story in the Man Card series. The author brings Kris and Millie together in a baking competition. They’re drawn together from their first meet. I enjoyed watching them come together. The story moves quickly and smoothly with a HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
A wonderful, sweet, flirty book. Competitors attract. A fun story to read.
Sugary Sweet Insta-Love
There is nothing better at this time of year than a sugary sweet insta-love romance and Terra brings it home with My Sugar Cookie.
What I love was the coincidence of Millie and Kris’s first encounter and the connection they felt. It’s refreshing to have a male baker and alpha male he was. He wasn’t intimidated at Millie job of a firefighter. Although the competition didn’t finish as you would expect, both Millie and Kris won with each other.
Loved the simplicity of their sugar cookie connection.
I received a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Kris is headed to his first solo competition, what he didn’t expect was competing against the gorgeous woman he ran into at the airport.
Millie has two things she loves to do – being a firefighter and baking. When her friends and family convince her to enter in a competition she didn’t expect having to compete against the handsome green eyed fella she ran into at the airport.
Will the chemistry between Millie and Kris survive the competition?
I love every single story Terra writes and this one didn’t disappoint me at all. The chemistry, the light-heartedness, and the flow of the story is fantastic! I can’t wait to see what yummy tale she whips up next!

I loved this story! It is a great next installment in the Man Card series, and it was fun to see characters from the previous book. There’s a bit of role reverse in that Kris is a professional baker, and Millie is a firefight fighter. But that doesn’t stop Kris from being a strong male, or Millie from being feminine. This felt like a story you’d hear from a couple about how they met, and i just REALLY loved reading it – very feel good. Very much looking forward to the next story, watching as more friends find love!

This is Kris and Millie’s story, and so much fun to read! Kris, a professional pastry chef, is signed up as a contestant in some sort of “special” Holiday Baking Competition for a $25,000 prize. On the first day of taping, everything that could go wrong went wrong! Millie Andrews, one of the other contestants who signed up at the last minute, is a firefighter professionally and a natural at baking. With the long hours spent at the firehouse, she naturally gravitated to the kitchen to cook and bake to her heart’s content! Baking was her passion.
As Kris got up for the start of filming on the set of The Baker’s Network, he tripped – not unusual since he was sort of klutzy – except he was hoping to be calm and collected in front of the woman he kept bumping into all the way here. When the first item was assigned, Kris couldn’t get his dough to form properly and had to start all over. His first day was a disaster, but his cookie offerings kept him in the challenge. For Millie, Kris’ bad day made him seem more real, and it helped to see that even he could make mistakes too. As they returned to the hotel, both were again surprised at the number of coincidences as they were both on the 10th floor, in the same hall, and only a few rooms away from each other! Almost like it was meant to be?
This was a really good short story in this series that I am totally enjoying. Seeing how Millie and Kris meet and are attracted to each other and keep bumping into each other kept me laughing. It didn’t take long for a friendship to start. Grab your copy and see how the competition turns out – and whether there is something more waiting for these two.
Quick fast-paced read. No sugar-coating, sweet story though with a bit of heat…not just in the kitchen. Enjoyed reading this man card addition, love how they meet. I also like how they compete and that they got a chance to be more than competitors. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really liked this story. Yes, there is a baking competition, but it felt competition lite to me. It was more about Kris and Millie than about the competition, which I liked a lot.
Kris is competing on a special Holiday Baking Competition. His first day of taping, everything that could go wrong, did. The only good thing, Millie. Millie is another contestant. She’s a firefighter and a baker. Kris can’t wait to get to know her better.
Loved how Millie and Kris meet and are drawn to each other. Kris and Millie were so cute and funny, that they made me smile a lot. Liked that their friends were not just supportive, but happy for them. Loved the happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book.
