The 11th book in the series and the characters are like real members of your family you have grown with them through each book. Meryn has the unique ability to bring together all races shifter, vampire and fae she treats them all the same having no reverence for royalty. You a drawn into the genuine love of mated pairs this one being Oron and human Isabelle. When shadows come to Eire Danu Meryn’s new flamethrower may be needed fast.
Only Meryn would have pretty much unlimited access to everything and would only ask for meat kebobs. Meryn’s present was very thoughtful. Meryn now has her own barista, very nice. I love the baby Felixes. So Meryn is also part fae, of course she is. That was a very emotional scene. Her grandmother was to her what Smelly Gabe was to Percy and the Dursley’s were to Harry. Of course Meryn’s dad would be just like her, and it would explain why she doesn’t necessarily enjoy the “sun” of Éire Danu.
I LOVE this book series. I literally cant wait for the next book.
Loved it! Meryn meets the Fae of Eire Dsnu, Oron finds his mate
Meryn leaves Noctem Falls for Erie Danu and the Fae Court. While she had to leave many new friends behind, few old and new join her on her next adventure. The fae brother Oron and Darian, along with Amelia, Darian’s mate are taking them through the official porthole. A stop over in the border town to check in with a Vanguard unit. Bring Oron his mate.
Isabella, Izzy, Campbell is a local barista, with a sense of curiosity that more often than not leads to disaster. She is adored by the the vanguard unit.
Izzy just fell down a rabbit hole. She learns her friends aren’t human. She has a mate who is a fae Prince. Meryn, is her soul sister, they bond over coffee. Meryn dubs Izzy her Coffee Goddess.
Izzy adapts well to her new reality. Oron’s adopted parents, the Fae Queen and her mate are thrilled to meet their new daughters. The Queen adores Meryn. They settle in for a visit and to give accounts of what went on in Noctem Falls.
Oron’s return to his home is bittersweet. His family were traitors. While he saved Darian who was a baby and he was only a child, many see him for what his family did and shun him. Izzy isn’t having it. Meryn helps her get revenge.
She meets some retired warriors who welcome her and Meryn as family. They have nothing but respect for Oron. A trip to the forest they were forbidden to enter has Meryn and Izzy making new friends, a tribe of goblins. Izzy rescues a young Brownie, who Felix takes under his wing and becomes fast friends with Felix’s baby brothers.
Meryn finds more family in the fae court and learns who her father was.
Not all is well. Reports of mysterious shadows have been popping up all over the city. Everything points the the impossible, ferals.
Love this series. Fun, Fast paced and a little steamy. Loved Izzy and Oron. Looking forward to Ari Lionhart’s story.
Love the characters in this series. To me they are family and can’t wait for the next reunion.
Yet another great story in the Bewitched and Bewildered series. Each book leads you more into the story, and leaves you wanting more.
Totally worth staying up all night to read!
The author did not disappoint with this newest addition to her Bewitched and Bewildered series. We meet some new people and of course still have our old friends. It’s filled with Meryn moments and a lot of questions are answered while more are brought up. As always their is a HEA and the teaser of her next book. I can’t wait to read the next installment! But in the meantime I will continue to re-read the available books again and again.
