This is the most captivating book I’ve read in a very long time. I finished it in less than 24 hours. I couldn’t put it down. The twisted and turns kept me guessing until the very end. Excellent read!
MY SISTER’S SECRET by Tracy Buchanan….the story holds your attention but, it was not gripping or emotional, it was not addictive, and the characters were not very likable. There was a twist at the end that made it a 2 star read to 3 star read.
Buchanan is a master at taking normal lives and slowly revealing the hidden twists and turns that haunt their pasts. She’s a hugely popular writer and My Sister’s Secret is another wonderful offering if you love psychological thrillers.
I thought this book was just ok- easy read, but not much to it.
Easy read, enjoyable and heartwarming
I thought this booked dragged. I had trouble getting into it. Did not finish it.
Wasn’t too thrilled with it a little too predictable
An often confusing, ultimately silly plot loaded with improbable coincidence and an annoying number of flash backs.
Got skittle lost with the timeline, but it was interesting.
I absolutely LOVED this book!!!!
Hard to put down and so many twists I never saw coming! And I had never heard of sunken forests but looked them up later and they are beautiful!!!!
I could hardly put it down. There were so many unexpected turns and surprises. It left me in tears. My heart ached for some of the characters in the story.
Sorry when I finished!
Just too long and very far fetched. Stopped half way through.
I REALLY didn’t like this book when I got to the end of it. I felt the ending was very contrived. Up until then I’d liked it, but UGH. And the more I think of it, the more I dislike it now.
I enjoyed this book vey much. It was hard to get into at the beginning, but evolves into wondrous story. It was informative and entertaining. Enjoyed the stories of the three sisters who were so different, but so alike. Makes you want to live in a house by the sea and to have grown up there.
it was one of the worse books ever
Really enjoyed this book. Also learned about submerged forests. Very interesting.
I could not put this book down
An interesting read. It kept going back to the Mother’s life and then forward to the daughters. Secrets, personality clashes, murder, insanity, and more secrets. Keeps you on your toes. Nice resolution at the end.
