Excellent start to a new series. Robert Dugoni has always written great suspense stories, but he takes his game to a new level with this book.
Highly recommended.
A fantastic start to what I know will be a fantastic series. Can’t wait to dig into the next one.
If you haven’t stepped into the Tracy Crosswhite series yet, than you are missing out. Great whodunits. Especially this first one!
This is a great legal thriller mixed with a classic police procedural. As in some of Dugoni’s other work, broader themes are at work as well. The book made me think about justice and the justice system without ever becoming dogmatic or preachy…. Overall a compelling, satisfying book.
A five star read, but watch out. The series keeps going and …
This is the first book by Robert Dugoni that I have read. I loved the story, the characters, and the mystery of the book. I would recommend it
This whole series is fabulous. I gobbled every consecutive book faster and faster. The writing is flawless and the story is easy to follow. I love unfolding the mysteries along the way. Highly recommend
A gut-wrenching thriller that grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go until the final page.
This is another author I am adding to my favorite author list. Emily Sutton-Smith narrated this audio book and did an excellent job. Tracy Crosswhite becomes a Seattle detective in the small town of Cedar Grove after her younger sister, Sarah disappears in 1993 and is presumed dead. Sarah’s body is found 20 years later and Tracy goes through …
Dugoni’s books never fail to disappoint. I am tearing into my fourth book of his because I can’t get enough!
I absolutely loved this book. An exceptionally written crime thriller featuring the full-blown excitement perfectly complemented by a character who develops, who I really cared about. This one breaks out of the formula that most crime thrillers adhere to and yet manages to be both well written and poignant at the same time.
I’m not typically a mystery reader but picked this one up as a book club read. Thorough enjoyed it, and had lots of theories throughout, but the twist in the tale got me.
A decent start to a series. I didn’t think it had a lot of true police procedural in it, but it did keep me turning pages.
Like this series, highly recommend!
Robert Dugoni kept me guessing until the twisty end. Loved how tough–and vulnerable–the author made the lead character Tracy Crosswhite. Great series starter.
I love this series. Can’t wait to read the next book.
Tracy Crosswhite is a relatable heroin who is easy to follow, and manages to hold one’s attention and look forward to knowing her. Her sister’s story demands to be told, and Tracy fights to share it in a way that not only holds readers’ attention but also endears herself to the audience. Great story line, solid characters, steady pace, and just …
I live the author!
My Sister’s Grave (Tracy Crosswhite, #1), my third read from author Robert Dugoni. Outstanding police fiction. 10-hours 49-minute/416-pages. I purchased an Audible copy of this book back in November of 2015 and lost track of it, now I’m voluntarily reading & reviewing it because every great book needs reviews. Narrator Emily Sutton-Smith’s …
This is a really well-written and suspenseful book. I listened to the audiobook edition and the reader did an excellent job. There are some disturbing elements, but there is very little profanity and the sex is not explicit. Near the end there is some intense violence. There are some interesting twists.
My Sister’s Grave is the first entry in a series featuring Tracy Crosswhite, a Seattle homicide detective. Tracy is haunted by the death of her sister Sarah twenty years ago, for which Edmund House, a known rapist, was tried and convicted. Problem is, Tracy doesn’t think that House did it – there were enough irregularities at his trial so she …
