From New York Times bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff comes MY PEN IS HUGE, a Standalone Romantic Comedy.Dear Mr. Merrick, I quit. And since you’re obsessed with your stupid pen collection, I thought it appropriate to take the big one you love so much and write my resignation letter. Kiss your pen goodbye, big man!Because when I agreed to work for you—a hotshot journalist I’ve admired for years—no … for you—a hotshot journalist I’ve admired for years—no one told me that you had a secret life and that you’d bug my apartment, have someone killed, and make the moves on me just to test whether I’m serious about this job.
I mean, come on! What kind of boss does that? Yes, you’re ten degrees hotter than the sun, and you melt panties everywhere you go, but this “little intern” is done with your games.
From this day forward, consider me your mortal enemy, your biggest threat. Maybe your pen is huge, but my determination is bigger. See you on the battlefield, Mr. Big Pen.
Your ex-admirer,
Gisselle Walters

Ms. Pamfiloff has again delivered a hilarious and sexy standalone in her OHellNo series, this time featuring a famous journalist with a big ass Pen and his assistant who thinks he’s more ego than anything. But chemistry doesn’t lie and with this book we get the heat with the laughs!
Another great read from Ms. Pamfiloff! Perfect combination of humor, snark and sexy! Always an enjoyable read by this author. Book can be read alone or a continuation of the Oh Hell No series- I recommend the series as you’ll thoroughly enjoy your time spent!
My Pen is Huge is book five in the OHellNo series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. This book is a little different than the rest of this series. But, true to form, is full of the OTT hilarity this author is known for.
Gisselle Walters is twenty two years old, fresh out of college and ready to take on the world as a journalist. Her professor has recommended her for a job as an assistant to the legendary Leland Merrick. Gisselle needs this job. She’s buried in student loan debt. But even more than that, she wants to learn from the best. And that is what Leland is, the best in the business.
Leland Merrick is a journalist with dark secrets. He works alone, often in very dangerous situations. Plus, he has some pretty strong views about women being in some of the places his work takes him. He can’t deny, though, that Gisselle is beautiful. Their first meeting, he could feel the electric current between them.
“Leland Merrick is not what I expected. He is so much more.”
I would call this an enemies to lovers story because even with all the sexual chemistry between these two, they don’t get off to a very good start. Leland does everything he can to keep Gisselle out of the way and safe and Gisselle does everything she can to stay right in the thick of things. All the while, that thing between them is growing until it’s impossible not to accept the inevitable.
Leland and Gisselle find themselves in one crazy situation after another as they try to navigate both the case they are dealing with and their feelings for each other. The other books in this series I felt more of the love story between the characters. This one, though, I had more trouble connecting with the romance part of things with everything else going on. But, if you enjoy crazy shenanigans, laugh out loud moments and some smexy times, as these two try to figure things out, then this book is for you.
What can i say but this is a must read.
It is light, funny and captures you from the start.
The innuendo in the first few pages really sets the tone. The quips between our two main antagonist are brilliantly scripted.
Loved the banter between Leland and Gisselle.
Leland and his mysterious other life has you intrigued and wanting more. His whole persona just makes you fall in love with him.
Loved the ending but now it has me wanting more.
Another amazing read from Mimi
I was given an ARC for an honest review
LOVED this book! Giselle is a firecracker and Leland is endearingly and infuriatingly bad at talking to her. She is fiercely independent and driven. He is confident, bordering narcissistic, but very protective of those he feels responsible for. Their clashes of ego and misunderstandings are hilarious! If you like romcoms, this one’s for you!
This book is right up my James Bond loving alley!!
Funny, hot, suspenseful, sexy (the hotness needs more mention, enemies to lovers. Action, humor, smart sassy heroine, sexy, cocky, protective hero. Fiery chemistry. Witty repartee. Cute animals. Quirky friends and family. Everything I love! Devoured it in one sitting. Inspired to re-read the other books in the Ohellno series now. Mimi always gives good book.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Devoured this laugh out loud, sexy and thrilling adventure in a matter of hours and was so happy/sad to see it end… Loved the relatable complex charters, witty one liners, heart racing twists and exciting turns in this highly entertaining journey!
I have loved all of the books in this series and this one is no exception. Leland and Gisselle were an amazing couple that had off the charts chemistry. Their story moved along well and had a few twists that I did not see coming and was hooked from page one while I found myself laughing out loud at times. I couldn’t get enough of this book once I started and would recommend this book to others.
If you need romance, comic relief, suspense, and a darn good read then My Pen Is Huge is the perfect solution! I love the #Ohellno series, but this book is close to becoming my number one favorite. I love how no matter what Merrick throws Giselle’s way she has a come-back for him every time. She is feisty, determined, and fearless. Merrick’s hard, tough, can do you no wrong attitude trips him up when he falls flat on his face in love with Giselle. This is a stand-alone, but if you’ve read The Battle Of the Bulge before this story then you will enjoy seeing the behind the scenes in The Bulge play out here. The queer quirkiness and sheer outrageousness of some of the scenes in this story will have you spewing your drink. Make sure all bodily functions have been addressed, remove any liquid from your mouth, including saliva, and have your nose blown before you start reading this adventurous read!
I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review.
Excuse me while I go dab at my eyes from laughing so hard. In case you can’t tell from the blurb or even the cover, this book is a hilarious, laugh out loud, enemies to lovers romance. I had a horribly stressful week and My Pen Is Huge brightened my day and pulled me out of my funk. True to this author’s past works, she created a fun cast of quirky and endearing characters and humorous situations that kept me entertained until the very end and left me frantically searching for the release date for her next book.
Gisselle is my kind of heroine in that she is strong-will, determined, and eager to change the world. She is definitely persistent and refuses to bow down to the infamous journalist Leland Merrick. According to Gisselle, Leland “is the definition of persnickety”. He presents himself as a confident somewhat chauvinistic journalist who dives headfirst into dangerous situations to get a story. He is mysterious, head turning handsome, and arrogant. He finds himself inexplicably drawn towards feisty Gisselle. Things are not all that they seem to be and these two have some interesting encounters with each other and some banter that will have you laughing until you cry.
This book is a part of the author’s OHellno series. It can be read as a standalone, however, there are spoilers for the previous book – Battle of the Bulge.
This witty page turner is an excellent read if you want humor, intrigue, a little feuding, and a whole lot of steam. Hooked from the beginning, I couldn’t put it down until I had all the answers.
Leland is a cocky, sexy man and beautiful Giselle will not put up with his non sense. These two characters totally made this book. Once I started, I had to finish because it was that good. Love Mimi’s books.
Journalism is not a job for the week of heart. It requires that you put in the hours, hard work and putting up with a sexist, maybe sexy on top, egotistical man who thinks he’s God’s gift to Gisselle in the form of a mentor. He pushes her buttons, but she’s no pushover. She knows how to fight back. Merrick was playing with Gisselle about her being his intern. She doesn’t take his joke well. Now the sh*t is gonna hit the fan because he pushed this woman to far for Gisselle is a reporter, she has a pen and she knows how to use it. That’s when thinks get dangerous for all.
This is a funny clever book. The characters and situations will keep you wondering where are all sane people are.
A warning to those that read in public: be prepared to making embarrassing loud snorting noises throughout the reading of this book.
The first few pages of My Pen is Huge are downright laugh out loud funny! Talk about jumping to conclusions and getting it all wrong. The one-liners are outrageous and well timed and will elicit everything from a giggle to a bark of laughter. Another absolutely delightful romantic romp from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff.
This dare devil, always a step ahead of the pack, saving the world journalist, Leland Merrick is not only incorrigible, arrogant and mysterious but also drop dead gorgeous. He manages to put his new intern, Giselle Walters’ knickers in a twist. But Giselle isn’t the only one affected by the other. She pushes all his buttons and ticks Leland’s timer with her sassy mouth and take no prisoners attitude. Every encounter they have they both fall a little deeper. From mentor/intern to lovers to rivals, these two don’t give up or give into each other easily. She’s determined to get the story and he’s equally determined to pull out all the stops when it comes to protecting her. Even if it’s from herself.
