I loved everything about this novel: the characters, the plot, and how the author introduced and handled the past lives theme. But, to be honest, I was not too fond of the ending. I refuse to believe that this is a standalone book. I need the sequel.
I loved it sooooo much until the end! I have never felt so unsatisfied at the end of a book in my life! I immediately started searching for book two…. None. So angry and disappointed.
I was very disappointed, it didn’t end, it must be a series, but even the series books I have read have a sorta end. This was a cliff hanger.
I loved this book all except the non ending.
There didn’t seem to be much of a connection between the two main characters…why he would keep looking for her through the centuries when there was very little development in their relationship. The ending of the book was terrible.
Great story. But the end left me hanging for more.
It’s been 10 years since I read this book. I loved every minute until the final. I devoured it. I shared it with friends and we started a freaking book club because of it. Every year I hopelessly wonder if the author is finally going to pull me, Daniel, and Sophia out of our purgatory. I still recommend this book but now 10 years later I preface it with but…
I truly hope Brasheres decides to do it. The indie
romance world would open their arms and devour the intense connection these two have. I still have hope!
Great story, but the ending was the worst
Enjoyable read. As a got a little way in I realized I had read this book and remembered enjoying it but could not remember ending. So I read it again and fell in love with this book all over. Great read
Left me wanting to read more. Is there a sequel? I kinda felt like it didn’t end, but maybe that’s what it was supposed to do.
One of my favorite books!!
I’ve read this book several times and it gets better each time
Terrible ending. Good basic plot though.
poetic , verbose
Wow! For fans of Brashaeres (Traveling Pants) or ANYONE who love a great time travel romance – except this has one of the most unique twists, ever! I SO wish she would write a sequel to this!!!
Ended without resolution, but a good story
Wanted a sequel
Absolutely loved the story, the characters, the history, but i was very disappointed in the ending!
Haunting and thought provoking. The problem is at the end you know more books were planned but not written as of yet.
