My Mate’s Wife by Robbie Cox is an amazing story that I have had the privilege to read. This is book number five in this amazing series that I have loved since the very begining. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy, erotic and paranormal romances in their stories.

MY MATE’S WIFE is the fifth book in the Destined Mates series. Though each book centers on a different couple, they are best enjoyed if you have read them all and in the order of release.
Wow! What an adventure! The emotions are high from the beginning and keep being twisted right until the end.
Quite honestly, Fitz needed to earn his “cajones.” His father had apparently stolen them before he took his first steps. Thank goodness, he had two women willing to stand behind him and beside him. Kinsey and Amanda cheered him on and pushed him to be the man every man should be for his woman/women.
It’s not easy to read about the contentious relationship between Fitz and his father. We all would like to have a Leave It to Beaver family, but that’s not real. Knowing that background allows the reader to accept what must happen at the end when Fitz does earn his “cajones.”
What’s next? I don’t know, but I’ll be there!
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

This is the first read by this author and most certainly won’t be the last. This is one of those books that you get caught up in quickly.

Super read
When you cannot have the one you love, love the one you’re with? Fitz was a dutiful son and married Amanda. He didn’t know his dad’s motives were business. Kinsey, Fitz’s mate decided to leave to avoid the agony of watching her mate married to another. She planned on going to Bull Creek where Fitz’s brother went to avoid dear old dad. Mandy, understands and makes her move. Will Kinsey like Bull Creek? How will Fitz fix this? How is Dominic doing? The solution and romance is amazing. The characters are amazing. Good story! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
I found this book to be very good. It has a great combination of suspense, action, drama and romance.

This is my first book that is a reverse ménage story regarding mating couples. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly from page one to the last one.

This is book five in the Destined Mates Series revolving around Draven Falls and Bull Creek. Both places have paranormals, but Bull Creek is where for a lack of better word, “misfits” go if they want seclusion. This is an unusual approach to the mate theory and I really enjoyed it with all of the fast action, angst, family treachery, hot scenes, and love. The characters are strong and vivid with some recurring from previous books. Good read!

Kinsey Pickford’s stomach was in knots. Her panther wanted its destined mate, but that was not possible since he had rejected her for another. Her mate, Fitzgerald Everest, had agreed to marry Mandy a year ago at the urging of his controlling father who wanted to strengthen his business connections. Mandy apparently loved her husband. Kinsey couldn’t expect Fitz to leave the woman for her, even though he was also experiencing the mating call the same as she was. But Mandy can’t take the pain anymore and, seeing no progress in Fitz’s promise to work it out somehow, she decides to leave Draven Falls and heads for Bull Creek where Fitz’s brother, Dimitri, and Lainie had moved to get away from Daniel Everest. At least there she might be able to start a new life.
Fitz is also suffering without his destined mate. He truly does love his wife and she loves him; but he also is being pulled to Kinsey. Mandy knows something has been bothering him, but he won’t talk to her about it. Mandy herself had never felt the mating call, but her grandmother had told her about it. She recognized that Fitz was suffering, though. She just didn’t know how to fix it. But she was willing to try. She had seen Kinsey the day before and her own panther felt pulled to Kinsey, probably recognizing Kinsey and Fitz’s bond. So she would go talk to Kinsey and see if they could fix what was broken before Fitz’s depression and moodiness drove him crazy.
Kinsey was packing the car when Mandy arrived. Oddly Mandy’s panther purred as she approached Kinsey, and she saw Kinsey’s eyes open wide and momentarily clutch her stomach. When Kinsey said she wasn’t planning to return, Mandy knew she didn’t want her to leave and her stomach churned as Kinsey drove away! Why did things feel so “off” to her? She assumed even her growling panther wanted Fitz to be with his destined mate.
Fitz stared out the window at his office at the paper mill. His father came in and mentioned Kinsey had moved! Fitz couldn’t believe she would go without saying goodbye. How could she leave him? Where did she go? She didn’t answer her cell and the message box was full! Then Mandy’s soft voice spoke from behind him, and she told him she knew where Kinsey was. She also told him she had to go to Kinsey – because Kinsey was HER destined mate!
Fitz and Mandy drive to Bull Creek to talk to their destined mate about what to do with their newly revealed situation. Was it possible they were all meant to be together? Or would Fitz’s father and the Order of Wardens hate group try to kill Kinsey to keep them apart?
This was an interesting look at destined mates and what happens when outside manipulation tries to keep them apart. It was also very clever to see the solution by a fortunate twist of fate. The story line is well-paced and intriguing. The characters and their willingness to sacrifice for those they love will appeal to the reader. Grab your copy and see if things can be sorted out or if evil will rip everything apart.
A different take on mates, deny your mate? Marry someone else?
A controlling father. Family drama, evil, danger this story has it all. Was my first of her will be looking to read more.
Kinsey has decided to move away, her mate Fitz, married Mandy a year ago and she just can’t take seeing him any longer. This starts an adventure you will be intrigued as you read. Enjoy.

My Mates Wife by by Robbie Cox is another installment in the Destined Mates series. The characters are interesting and well written. The story is fast paced, easy to follow and gets you right in the middle of things and has plenty of that hot, sexy stuff while addressing today’s issues of prejudice.
Dimitri Everest left his family and Draven Falls to get away from his father’s heavy handed ways and founded Bull Creek, a place welcome to shifters and humans alike who want a new start of their lives.
Now Fitz Everest, Dimitri’s brother, takes his wife to Bull Creek to seek out their destined mate and discuss what to do about the situation. Their visit does not go as they expect.
Even though I’m not into the ménage part, I need to give five stars for a great story that enlightens us with another aspect of prejudice and destined love.

This is an incredible adventure which takes the reader on a romantic journey through numerous dangers. The lead characters are wonderfully written to bring emotions to the forefront. The supporting characters, established in previous books in the series, are as awesome and awful as they are brilliant. A compelling page turning epic that will touch on multiple emotional responses to the superb situations written in another brilliant Robbie Cox novel.
Equally good read as a stand alone novel, as part of the series.

While part of a series, it is a stand alone for the most part. There are characters and situations that have backstories included. Others stories aren’t, but you get a general overview of why some of the residents reside in Bull Cree. It is okay because their backstories aren’t completely necessary for this story line. The author adds characterization to the important characters.
This has some spice, and from the title and the knowledge that Amanda feels that Kensey is her mate, there is a lot of spice. Shifters may be super sexual beings, but not all humans are, so if explicit sexual actions aren’t your cup of tea, I would come into this book prepared. Robbie is a really good author and can even in a short book take you through the emotions the characters have. Losing one’s love is hard, and many people experience that feeling. When Kenzey decides to leave, it hurt me. Yes I do not have a destined mate. To have the one you love, love another, and then to see it.
Overall I really enjoyed it, and so I was really happy to discover I had the first book in the series in my every growing TBR pile. Magic’s Mate’s review will be added as I already finished that one as well. When I get on a reading kick, I get on a kick 🙂
I thought it was a wonderful book. I am ready to read the others in the series. Wonderful characters and a great story.
This is a different take on mating for shifters in that a woman is mated to both a man and a woman. Kinsey is mated to her high school sweetheart Fitz but his father arranges his marriage to Mandy to broker a business deal. Mandy is mated to Kinsey which comes as a surprise to everyone. There is danger in this book when Fitz’s father tries to kill Kinsey while working with the Order of Wardens. It makes for a good read.
Yowzers! This was another fantastic book in the Destined Mates series and my favorite. I loved it and was hooked from the very beginning. Hot, steamy, nail biting, and more. This book really had it all. Kinsley leaves Draven Falls because her mate has married another and she cannot handle it anymore. There is always more than meets the eye. Mandy wants to find a way to ease the pain Fitz is going through. Kinsey is his mate, but he is her husband. Fitz wants them both…..
The journey to their HEA is action packed and steamy as … well you get the drift.
I cannot wait to see what is next for these three.
