Never fall in love with your knight in shining armor… dilemma.
Since his wife died giving birth to their baby – who also died – Noah’s been a recluse.
The last thing he needs in his life is a woman who’s eight months’ pregnant, alone, and homeless.
Of course he’s going to want to help me.
I know I mustn’t mistake kindness and friendship for real love.
And I really don’t want to be one of life’s victims.
I want to get myself back on my feet and create a good life for the baby.
I don’t want to cause Noah pain by stirring up old memories. And I don’t want him to feel pity for me.
I know I should walk away.
But it’s strange how it’s only when someone shows you kindness that you realize how empty your life has been.
Oh God. I’m desperately in love with him. And now the baby is days away from coming, and I’ve literally nowhere to go.
What am I going to do?

I loved Noah and Abby’s story, they were just right for each other. They were just what the other needed. Lots of love and feelings. I really enjoyed reading this book.
I just loved Noah’s story. This whole series is wonderful and I love reading how each character gets their happy ending.
Noah hardly left home. Abby was 8 months pregnant without friends or family. Noah over to help people but didn’t want to insult her. But when Tom gambled away their rent money, savings, and was into the gamblers for $5000.00 dollars. Noah couldn’t stand by and do nothing.
Great story.
Serenity Woods Characters are so real. I am so happy for Noah and the rest of The Three Kings Family.
Book 4 in The Billionaire Kings Book and although I’m sure you will enjoy this book without reading the previous books I think you will get so much more from it having read the history of these friends and relatives running The Ark.
Noah King created the Ark as a sanctuary for animals and people he needed something to challenge his life into when he started suffering from agoraphobia and he found himself not being able to leave his home but that didn’t stop him wanting to help others …..
Noah lost his wife and baby durning childbirth and the last thing he needs is a woman about to give birth sharing his home but his caring ways could never have him turning anyone awayand as as he got to know his temporary housekeeper he finds himself having feelings he hasn’t felt in many years.
This is a beautiful written story about friendship, trust and love, it will captivate you and it will leave you feeling like you have just visited family and friends. It’s a story that proves everyone deserves a HEA and it will touch you on so many levels. It has the perfect mix of love and angst and it will leave you wanting more from the residents of The Ark. I loved everything about this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Arc if this book.
I thought that this was such a lovely story. It couldn’t have been more perfect for Noah and Abby. It was more on the sweet side, but it worked for them. There was some smexy stuff as well, of course.
I felt so much for their different situations that led them to where they were. My heart just hurt for what they’d both gone through.
I loved this book so much that I got through most of it in one day. I would have gotten it done in one day if I hadn’t needed to get some sleep.

A beautiful, tearful slow burn
A pregnant woman and an agoraphobic billionaire is a match made in heaven! Although this sounds like an odd couple, every contemporary romance fan should give it a try as long as you are in the mood for lots of bumps in the road to a happy ending. This romance is so beautiful and a tear-jerker, and I loved every minute of it. It will melt your heart. The series can be read out of order, but the experience will be richer if you already know the supporting characters from previous books. BTW, it is told in alternating first person perspective, but neither character sounds egotistical at all.
I usually avoid romances featuring a pregnant woman, but I couldn’t say no to the lonely billionaire Noah who had briefly appeared in previous books of this wonderful “Billionaire Kings” series. Noah had been struggling with agoraphobia in the ten years since his wife and unborn child had died of complications during pregnancy. He only ever left his mansion each to walk his dogs along his private beach, but he kept himself busy running his charitable organization, the Noah’s Ark animal rescue and veterinary service. Noah is such a good guy and a sweetheart, and he really respects women.
When Abbie meets Noah as his part-time temporary housekeeper, she has a terrible set of personal problems. Among other things, she is 8 months pregnant but has a hellish long-term boyfriend and no money. She and Noah strike up a friendship, and she encourages Noah to do little things to try to get his agoraphobia under control. I won’t say too much, but Abbie and Noah are later able to start a relationship. They are so sweet together, and both characters seem very real to me.
I have been looking forward to this book, about Noah from the Billionaire Kings series, and I was so not disappointed! Since the death of his wife and newborn baby, 10 years ago, Noah has been agoraphobic, rarely, if ever leaving his house. When his outgoing housekeeper, recommends her pregnant friend for the job, Noah’s life changes forever. Abby is in a horrible relationship, with no money and no friends or family near by. Abby helps Noah to overcome his issues, and Noah helps Abby to get away from her bad relationship. In the process they fall in love.
This book is sweet, heartfelt and sexy. Everything I love about a great romance. The characters are lovable, vulnerable and strong. I especially love getting to catch up with the characters from the previous books in this series. Serenity’s writing drew me in from the first page, and her descriptions of New Zealand, makes me want to visit. I’m looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series!

In the last Billionaire Kings book, I felt so badly for Noah. He seemed so removed from the rest of the gang. Kind of in the outside looking in. Yet he was sweet, gentle, kind, and loving.
When he met Abby, he continued to prove that he was all of the above. Noah was so careful with Abby’s feelings.
I also felt sorry for Abby. Sometimes doing what you believe is the right thing, is not always the best thing for you. That was precisely Abby’s situation with Tom.
Noah and Abby were so good together. They hadn’t known each other long, but seemed so in tune to one another. There relationship was like a slow, sensual dance.
I read this book from beginning to end without stopping. I was so caught up in the romance that I didn’t want it to end. Abby, Noah, and little Ethan get their HEA, and it is well deserved.

My Lonely Billionaire by Serenity Woods
The Billionaire Kings #4
Noah King is a man of mystery in this series and one that I have wanted to get to know better. He lost his family in one fell swoop and it created so much anxiety in his life that he has become a recluse. When his cleaning woman has to go care for her mother she suggests Abby might take her job. As a few more facts come out Noah realizes that Abby is down on her luck, is pregnant and needs the job. Being the kind of man he is he says, “Ok.” and thus begins a relationship that will impact both of their lives in a very big way!
What I liked:
* Noah: He is realistic and knows his life is not as it once was but has made the best of the situation. He is “hot as” but so much more in that he listens and cares and helps and is there for any who need him.
* Abby: She is stalwart and steadfast sticking by her partner through good and bad for fourteen years…whether he deserved her or not. She is special and only realizes just how special as she and Noah get to know one another better.
* The Noah’s Ark crew: Six people have coupled off in relationships that were so much fun to read about in the previous books of the series AND there are more waiting in the wings to have their love stories told, too. Can’t wait for Fitz and Poppy to find their HEA in book 5.
* Glimpses of the previous generation of the King family…loved that series, too.
* The information shared about agoraphobis, gambling addiction and other tidbits that enriched the story.
* The happily ever after so richly deserved by Noah and Abby.
What I did not like:
* The back story that Abby survived…wish her life could have been easier.
* Noah’s losses and how they impacted him…what a sad situation and since I can remember similar situations while working as a nurse…do know how devastating they can be.
* Abby’s gutless wonder of a partner…
Did I enjoy this book? You betcha! Stayed up till 2am then couldn’t sleep till after 3am still thinking about this book
Will I read more in the series? As soon as I can!
Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
5 Stars
My Lonely Billionaire (The Billionaire Kings Book 4) by Serenity Woods is Noah’s story. Noah King was a boy in the Three Wise Men series. Now all grown he has loved and lost like his uncle, Brock. What a surprised to see the turns in his life over the years in The Billionaire Kings Series. Like his uncle Brock, could he again find love? The oldest of the group of cousins, his story is finally here. He is the wonderful person I always thought that he would grow up to be. Life has given him some hard knocks too. Like his cousins, after every mention of him in previous books, I was hoping he would love again.
The Billionaire Kings may have become my favorite series written by Serenity Woods surpasses their fathers’ in being first place. Noah and his struggles while still being a kind, compassionate person stole my heart. Like his cousin Summer, I wanted to push him closer and closer to Abby. Yet, the author knew that this relationship could not be rushed, it must be built on friendship and mutual respect.
Wonderful from beginning to end with Ms. Woods again tackling serious subjects, such as loss and death, addictions and agoraphobia. Authentic, truthful and gripping read. How in the world is she going to top this book? The bar has been set high with My Lonely Billionaire. I look forward to reading the next to see how Ms. Woods does just that.
An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher/author which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Oh how I adore the way this author writes! I’m a huge fan of this series, there’s just something about a billionaire with challenges and the woman who turns them around, something very special. Noah lost his wife and baby 10 years ago, he’s developed a fear of being around others, so he rarely goes out of his huge house overlooking the Pacific. Abby is pregnant and living with her partner that doesn’t want her or the baby, but she’s new to the area and desperately trying to find work to pay the rent. This is where Abby and Noah meet, and it takes off from there. I love this couple, both have huge challenges, both desperate for love and affection, and with the help of Noah’s friends, they slowly come around to what ends up being a pretty great match. Love the Ark crew, everyone is front and center, and Noah’s dogs are adorable. This is definitely going on my permanent library shelf along with the others in the series. A must read.

5 Star Review of My Lonely Billionaire (The Billionaire Kings #4) by Serenity Woods
I have a new book boyfriend. I have been waiting patiently (not really) for Noah King’s book and it was everything I hoped for and so much more.
Having jumped 30 years into the future for this series which is based on the children of the original Three Wise Men series I couldn’t wait to see what she had in store for Noah. I knew going in that this would be an emotional and at times heartbreaking story but nothing quite prepared me for Noah’s story.
Suffering from an overwhelming sense of loss and grief, Noah has led a protected existence over the last 10 years after the devastating loss of his wife and daughter during childbirth.
I was riveted from the first to the last chapter and read this one in almost one go. Serenity Woods writes with such a depth of description that I find myself transported to New Zealand whilst reading.
A man who is always ready to lend a helping hand, he agrees to eight month pregnant Abby filling in as his housekeeper. Little does he know that by being the man that he is , he has started on the path to really embracing life again.
What a beautiful story of friendship, love and family that touched me deeply. If anyone deserved happiness it is Noah and Abby. This was an extremely well written, emotional story with angst as well as some happy and joyous moments too. As always it was great to catch up with other members of the King family and their friends.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
At last Noah who was widowed ten years previous and suffers from agoraphobia gets his happy ever after. Noah is such a lovely guy and just what Abby needs when her relationship with her long term partner finally and irrevocably breaks down. Recommended read. Can be read as a standalone.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
