this is still a short sweet story that brightens the hour between breakfast and Elevenses, yes, I have read it before, but as I’ve mentioned somewhere before – it is no hardship to reread a Susan Hatler story

Holidays always add an unexpected twist especially Valentine’s Day. Witty story with interesting characters. Blind dates can bring unexpected drama. Good read.

Rachel was dumped and since has had numerous really bad blind dates courtesy of her best friend at work. The last two months she has been crushing on the new guy, Noah, that works on her floor and watching all the cool girls go after him. Friend Ellen has one more blind date she wants Rachel to check out tonight on Valentines Day. At the last minute Rachel agrees to go and finds a very welcome surprise. Someone has been crushing her, too.
The characters are heartwarming and so real. Loved the girlfriend banter and comments from Noah at work. The storyline was simple but well developed, with intense feelings and emotions coming into play. A perfect short story where the Love Potions drinks they ordered finished the job.

Another very relatable story by Susan Hatler. Many women reach their 30´s without being married or being in a strong relationship. Family and friends start to matchmake and most times these dates do not go well. The plot in this book is about dating and how the couples go about it, obviously written with humor and numerous very funny passages. Another entertaining and easy-to-read story that really helps to take the edge and relax during covid times.

No spoilers with this review. A nice, enjoyable romantic comedy that will give you laugh out loud moments and leave a smile on your face long after you finish the book. The characters are fun, engaging and you can’t help but love them as you get to know them more with every turn of the page.

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had an awfully hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
The third book in the Better Date than Never Series a very good short story, that I found myself smiling with. It’s Valentine’s Day and Rachel Price goes on one last blind date and finds out it is her coworker Noah Peterson who she has a crush on. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. Highly entertaining, sweetly sexy, and laugh out loud fun adventure that had me on an emotional roller-coaster of the best kind. Really enjoyed the witty banter, engaging charters, heart racing twists and undeniable passion.
Last Blind Date is a short sweet humorous read. On Valentines Day the choices for Rachel is stay home with her dog and watch TV or be set up on a blind date by Ellen her best friend. Rachel choice after being burned by blind dates is difficult whether to take a chance on a blind date or the TV with her dog. This story is witty and entertaining and you will truly enjoy reading it!

I love how Noah was interested in Rachel but did not say anything because she was in a relationship with another man. He did not ask her after they broke up because he wanted to give her time to grieve the other man. Once he found out that she was ready, he decided to have her friend set them up on a blind date. I love how Rachel did not give up on love after having her heart broke. Susan Hatler knows how to write a sweet romance without the love triangle.

It’s Valentine’s Day, and Rachel’s got two choices: blind date or no date. This sweet short romance includes a pushy best friend, an adorable miniature beagle, and a hot blind date with a twist. Definitely worth the read—I only wish it had been longer!
Thanks, Booksprout, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
It’s Valentines Day and Rachel doesn’t have a date, Ellen wants to set her up on another blind date. Will this one finally be the last one she needs to go on?

This is book three of the Better Date Than Never series and is a short Valentine’s Day tale. The main character is Rachel and she has no plans at for the hallmark night, other than to stay home with her dog Chester and watch TV while eating some comfort food. Her best friend had already set her up on some blind dates, but they were absolute awful. She has pretty much given up on blind dates and the one man in the office she would like a chance with, is already getting the attention of the office female bomb, who has been working her way through all the VP’s. Noah had only been with the software company for a few months now, but he was a great salesman and really friendly. When Melinda tries to flirt with him, he blanks the fact it is Valentine’s Day and says he already has plans, which knocks any chance Rachel might have had, out of the window. Ellen is happy with Henry and tries to set Rachel up on a fourth blind date, a perfect ten as she calls him and a friend of Henry’s.
Ellen keeps on at her and forces her reluctant hand into going on the date, at the place she and Henry had a romantic meal booked at, the Boat House. A very good restaurant and not one Rachel had ever been too. When she gets there, her date is already seated and when she sees his face, she is extremely shocked, but also very pleased! It seems that her last blind date is definitely her best and she hopefully won’t ever be looking for another. It seems that taking a risk for love has finally worked out for her. She could have missed her chance completely if she had stayed home with Chester! A nice, clean HEA ending in a short and sweet blind date scenario, with best friends trying their best to find you, your true love.
I enjoyed reading this delightful story!
Rachel’s best friend is recently married. Ellen wants the same for Rachel.
It’s Valentine’s day, & Ellen wants to set her up with another blind date.
Wasn’t three disastrous blind dates enough!
Rachel finally agrees to go. When she was taken to her date,
she was happily surprised!
A MUST READ!
Sweet Little Read
This short story surprised me. I often have problems with this author’s books as I find them superficial books that often paint poor pictures of women, including their relationships with other women as well as men. This brief story did not hit any of the clunker notes that keep me from enjoying this author’s work. This is a sweet little Valentine’s Day story about a blind date and a secret crush. I found this quick read to be a lot of fun. Perhaps she should stick to short stories!
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
This short story is the first I have read in this series and it has good characters, humour, friends, pasts, passions, attraction, connection and chemistry. I liked Noah and Rachel and could have happily read more about them.

Sweet and Entertaining
My Last Blind Date is the third book in the Better Date than Never series. It is a short, sweet and clean (as in fade to black, story about Rachel and Noah. She is a young woman who had not been lucky in love and ended up going on a number of really bad blind dates. But with Valentine’s Day around the corner her best friend twists her arm into one more blind date. What she was not expecting is her office crush to be the man waiting for her.
This is a quick and fun little story. There is nothing heavy or deep with this story but that does not mean it will not leave a smile on your face.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Love this series.
A short sweet and sassy romance. I love how the character took a leap of faith and went on the blind date. I really enjoyed reading the story.
Delightful story even though it’s a tad predictable. It was good to see Rachel finally find her match.
Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Happily Ever After. Page-turner. Romantic. Twisted. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.
