From the bestselling author of The Dead Ex, a deliciously addictive psychological thriller about the powerful effects of little white lies on three intertwined lives–and when those secrets become deadly
When young lawyer Lily marries Ed, she’s determined to make a fresh start and leave the secrets of the past behind. But then she takes on her first murder case and meets Joe, a convicted murderer to whom Lily is strangely drawn—and for whom she will soon be willing to risk almost anything.
But Lily is not the only one with secrets. Her next-door neighbor Carla may be only nine, but she has already learned that secrets are powerful things. That they can get her whatever she wants.
When Lily finds Carla on her doorstep twelve years later, a chain of events is set in motion that can end only one way.

Real twist at the end. Not predictable.
this book TOO long to get to the end.
TOO much work involved for the overall-ness of it.
i actually heard this as an audiobook and i wanted to just DNF it but i kept going because i was only a few hours short of finishing.
homegirl SHOULD NOT be any type of lawyer at all.
and well, i wouldnt like to say that he got what he deserved…but what do you expect.
overall, it was not worth it for me.
This book was much too dark to earn my recommendation.
Jane Corry has written a fascinating and horrifying description of a marriage. Page by page she develops her characters psychology, revealing their deepest secrets. The plot is unique, and the events are viewed from different charact viewpoints. How will it end? Read Her Husband’s Wife and find out for yourself!
This was a good book, page turner.
Great story
Nothing of style or remembrance …..
Excellent reading. Highly recommended
I was surprised how the book went in so many directions.
This is a good read. The book is written in a way that you find yourself pulling for a person because you feel that you can relate.
A little confusing but good
My Husbands Wife By Jane Corry the writing is excellent, characters are interesting, some more twisted than others but all are great! The storyline is loaded with twists, turns and heart stopping moments, you will be hooked! Narration by Rosalyn Landor is outstanding!!! I Highly Recommend!
The plot is good, and there are some twists, but it is kind of hard to read. The characters, even the main ones aren’t very likeable.
I started this book four times before I could get into it. Once I did start, it was an easy and enjoyable read.
This book has some unique twists! Highly recommend!
My Husband’s Wife is the story of Lily — a young lawyer when the book begins in 2000, just taking on her first murder trial, where she meets Joe Thomas. Joe is convicted of murdering his girlfriend, and Lily is convinced of his innocence. Meanwhile, she is trying to maintain her new marriage to aspiring artist Ed, while looking after her young neighbor, Carla, every weekend.
I fell into this book so fast, and could not put it down. I absolutely loved the first half of the book, so when I realized it skips ahead to 13 years in the future, I was nervous. Luckily, that was unfounded since the second half was just as (if not more than) engrossing as the first. As things from Lily’s past come back to haunt her in the present, she is forced to face things she’s tried to ignore for years.
My Husband’s Wife is the perfect thriller. It has everything I love: great characters, immersive writing, an unsettling plot, and unreliable people throughout. And better yet, all of these things were done amazingly well.
Brilliant, original and complex, with a dark triangle at its center. A compelling thriller that kept me turning the pages until the end.
This book was an easy and fairly safe read .
I just could not get into this book. I read five chapters and put it down. Few days later read three chapters. A week later tried another four chapters and quite. I read at least two books a week and to me this book was a sleeper.
