I’d make a terrible father. That’s what they all said. And it’s the lie I lived for a long time, playing the field.Sleeping around and enjoying my life as a bachelor. But things change when my grandfather passes and all of his money comes my way.Life looks like a day in a theme park, with me as the big winner.Until I realize my grandfather didn’t just send me a check, but also his big house filled … didn’t just send me a check, but also his big house filled with expensive art.
Unfortunately, it comes with the responsibility of maintaining his staff, including a beautiful American maid that’s driving me mad.
I have rules about romance with those who work with me and for me.
No bother. This curvy vixen wants nothing to do with me anyway.
Until she does.
And when I think it’s going to be a quick fling, I’m shocked to discover she’s carrying my greatest fear and the one thing I’ve always secretly wanted more than anything else.
A baby.

I received an arc, and am voluntarily leaving this review. I loved Nicole and Rand’s story.
Their characters were well developed and had depth to them that the reader could relate to. The characters also had lots of chemistry between them. This was a really good story, and I could not put it down. I highly recommend it
I enjoyed is book even more than the first. It was good to be visiting Greece again. And this time there was a more complex and intriguing story. Rand and Nicole both have secrets that are slowly revealed as their relationship deepens and their romance develops.
Okay, this is a must read. We met Rand back in Fake it for Me. He was always the one who lived live a bit reckless, loves woman, to have a few drinks and loves the ocean. I never thought he would be a man to find one woman. He’s has a rough past with a family who has disowned him but has two great friends in Adrian and Cade. Nicole works for Alex who just happens to be Rand’s grandfather. Unfortunately Alec is very ill and old and passes away. He and Nicole have gotten very close in the years she has worked for him. She as well has a family who hasn’t really treated her well. Alec has requested that when he passes she gives a private letter to Rand. When these two meet, it’s going to be the time of your life. I laughed at how this meeting went. Can they move beyond their pasts and see what the future holds?? I can’t tell you but I can tell you that this is another well written book by this author that is very enjoyable.
I really liked the characters, Nicole and Rand. Such a good romance and very well written. This book was filled with drama, heartache, healing, passion, romance, and love. Well written story with wonderful characters, I absolutely enjoyed reading this book.
Loved these two…Rand and Nicole. What a wonderful couple.
I think Granddad Alec knew exactly what he was doing when he gave the letter for Rand to Nicole to give him.
He set the road to romance. He knew they were both broken and he knew they would help each other mend….and finding Nicole’s Mom was just the cherry on the top to complete another wonderful loving family. He knew this would be Rand’s making considering his family were so disgusting.
A wonderful storyline that had me happy and sad and in need of a box of tissues.
Rand and Nicole are joined by fate. It just takes time for them to accept it. Weston Parker is a great author. The storyline is rich with likable characters. The HEA is not rushed but fully developed. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This was a heartwarming story about overcoming heartbreaking pasts and allowing love to heal hearts and souls. Nicole and Rand have traumatic and tragic pasts that have shaped how they conduct their personal relationship yet they both yearn for a family. My Favorite Mistake was filled with drama, heartache, healing, passion, romance, and love. This is a must read that will have readers captivated and engaged from beginning to end. This was a great well written story with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. A fabulous book I absolutely enjoyed reading.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
eston with every new book you bring us to read I think keep getting better and better. This one did not disappoint. We are back on Crete and finally getting to know more about Rand and what happened in his past to make him the closed-off person he was. Life can give some trying times and he wa dealt few. And a little boy watching what he did could and would change anyone. Life got somewhat better but not until Nicole walks into his life. She’s hiding from her past as well. An alcoholic father dint make matter better either. Together they find live, happiness and trust. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
This story is about Rand and Nicole. The storyline was well written and kept me intrigued. The characters have pasts they need to overcome. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. Weston Parker has written another wonderful book that you definitely should read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the second book of the “Bad Boy Greeks” series and you will not be disappointed. It’s the story of Rand and Nicole. Though part of a series it most definitely can be read as a standalone. Rand is the best friend and business partner of Adrian (whom we met in Book 1) and he’s a carefree bachelor with a “no strings attached” view of life. Nicole is an American girl who has escaped to Greece years earlier (you will eventually learn, via the story, what she was escaping but there are hints to her past earlier in the book) and has spent the last few years working as a housekeeper for Alec – an older, wealthy gentleman who’s health is failing and whom she has developed quite the friendship with. Through her relationship with Alec, she learns about some of his family, greek history and is told many stories of years past. Alec asks Nicole for a favor one afternoon and asks that she deliver an envelope to his grandson Rand upon his death.
When Alec passes away, Nicole keeps her promise and finally manages to find Rand to deliver the envelope. Their first meeting does not go well and their second one is not much better – but sparks fly and despite everything, Rand asks her to dinner. That is the start of a friendship and relationship – though neither one of them want to call it that. It becomes clear that Nicole is still dealing with issues from her past and Rand also carries baggage from his past as well as his family relationships that he works very hard at keeping locked away.
But as their relationship progresses and they get closer to each other and closer to their own truths about their pasts – Alec throws one more curveball into the mix in the form of an envelope for Nicole and a big clue about her past and her reason for running to Greece in the first place.
When Nicole learns she is pregnant and before she even tells Rand (though he has repeatedly stated he does not want kids and does not want to be a father) – she is getting on a plane and heading back to the States to face her past and part of the reason she left in the first place so many years prior. Will Rand try to find her? Will he fight for her and the baby once he learns about it? Will Nicole be able to face her past and will Rand be able to face his as well?? Will they finally admit their true feelings for each other? It’s a fun, love story with some dark subjects but once you start reading you will not want to stop. You will fall in love with both Rand and Nicole and want nothing more for them to overcome their painful pasts, admit their feelings for each other and work on finding their own version of their personal happily every after.
I was excited to get Rand’s story! We first meet him in “Fake It For Me”. I was very much looking forward to this story. I was not disappointed but I rarely am with books from this author. This playboy Greek finally meets his much in the feisty American. I love Rand and Nicole’s story! Such an enjoyable story that is a tad emotional at times. It’s well written with an intriguing and captivating plot. Love the characters and the chemistry between them.
Great feel good HEA story about two people with lots to hide/keep hidden from their childhoods. While not easy, two old souls find love through a Grandfather/patient with a plan. Love the Greece setting.
The first few chapters of this book, I wasn’t sure what to think. Then when Nichole went to deliver the letter to Rand and blew up at him for not visiting his grandfather and not going to the funeral, I was ready to quit reading it. She was so judgmental and high and mighty when she said herself that she would do the same if it was her father. Then the book got a lot better from there. I found Rand and Nichole had great chemistry. The book was very well written, as is most of Weston Parker’s books. I’ve very glad I was able to receive a ARC for this book.
MY FAVORITE MISTAKE (Bad Boy Greeks Book #2) By Weston Parker
This is another very satisfying read by Weston Parker. I always know when I pick up one of Mr. Parker’s books I will get a great read. In the 2nd story in the Bad Boy Greeks saga, we are given Rand’s story. We met him in the 1st Bad Boy Greek’s book. Rand was not very likable in the 1st book, but totally redeemed himself in this one. We find out why he has the demons he has and made the decisions he has.
Nicole moved to Greece 3 years prior to make a new life for herself and has found happiness being the maid and friend of wealthy Alec Mattas. Alec gives her an envelope to give to his estranged grandson Rand when he passes away. After Alec passes away, Nicole finds Rand and gives it to him. After a rocky start, the two of them enjoy being together. Rand and Nicole both have baggage like crazy, that they have to work to overcome together. I did enjoy this story. This is a 5 star read.
I absolutely enjoyed Nicole and Rand’s story! The storyline was well written and the characters were so well developed that I was totally glued to my kindle throughout the entire book!
A beautiful heartfelt romance story that is well written with a great storyline, wonderful characters, family drama, twists, some steamy scenes, lots of feels, and a happily ever after.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

Carefree Greek Playboy Rand Finds Himself Smitten By A Spunky Curvy American!
Rand, almost thirty, has achieved tremendous success. With seed money from his beloved wealthy grandfather, Alec Mattas, he and his friend Adrian (from Fake It For Me) started their own company. Today Adrian is the CEO of Great Greeks, and Rand is happy bringing in new clients. But since witnessing Adrian fall head over heels in love with Bella, Rand has begun to tire of the string of waif-like girls that parade through his life, who all seem so empty. In spite of his earlier disapproval of Bella, Rand now sees how much his friend has been gained since falling in love. He is a little envious of what the couple has. But he knows that relationships and kids aren’t for him. He has a dark secret from his past and a deep rift in his family. He longs to pack a suitcase and leave Crete and everything else behind.
Nicole, a twenty-two year old curvy American, has been Alec Mattas’s housekeeper for the last two years. She came to Crete with nothing a few years ago and wants to remain if possible; returning home to her father is not an option. She is kind and nurturing. Alec is old and dying, so Nicole instinctively acts as his friend and personal nurse, often staying after hours to keep him company. She counts Alec as one of her only friends on Crete. He asks Nicole to deliver an envelope to his grandson once he dies.
When Nicole meets Rand for the first time, things heat up. She is angry that he didn’t visit his sick grandfather during the last two years of his life and walks away from Rand and his cavalier attitude. When they meet again, Rand listens to her and then asks her to dinner.
The chemistry between Rand and Nicole is explosive! However, due to their troubled pasts, they struggle to get on the same page. Nicole is incredibly patient, but Rand’s head is a bit in the clouds when it comes to understanding women.
Adrian and Belle from the earlier book in this series play a part as they welcome Nicole into their small circle and offer their support.
I rate My Favorite Mistake four stars. This story is complex and engaging as the mysteries of the past unfold. The characters are sympathetic and feel real. Rand’s growth by the end of the book is incredible. The couple earns their HEA. Not to diminish it, but it is a more realistic HEA and had me a little sad not for the couple, but for their situation. I did not anticipate the direction they would take. Regardless, I enjoyed the book and hope to see more of this couple in the series (and perhaps see them fully healed and moving forward, or back, rather)!
friendships and definitely some passion. The characters are very intriguing, Rand is co partner for Great Greeks and he has finally figured out the dating game is just so boring, but just when he figures out he wants more then mindless fun he gets some rather disturbing news about the only family member he loves. Nicole Is so happy with her new life in Greece and having a wonderful job working for one lovable man, but when the unthinkable happens she is thrown for a loop. When these two characters come face to face for the first time there is definitely some fireworks and this is where the story really gets interesting with plenty of twists and turns. I loved this book and highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
